Solved! You are correct. When we upgraded from 8.1.0 to 8.1.2, that setting was reset to 25 default and it was 1 on the old server when I checked on it. I never really paid attention to the block size before until now as I've not had need to reset next IDs. From: Action Request System discussio

Got a weird one. On a form, I wanted to reset the Request ID to use a specific number range. When I reset the Next ID to say 1001, it creates the next record using the next number in sequence, . However, when I look at the arschema metadata, it tells me that the next ID to be used is 1001.
