tried 2 times on production server but it failed every time. On Dev server it

Moving binaries on servers is not an option for me since I am installing 8.1. I
have read the docs page which says installation has to be done on all servers.

I have a requirement to send a custom notification whenever a work info entry
is added to the Incident or Change. Thinking to use SYS:Notification Messages
form for configuring notification.
Has anybody ever done such kind of this? Share your thoughts if you have ever

Hello,
How to add a URL link to application list? Requirement is to show a link to the

In Java a thread means a part of the program that executes independent of other
parts. Is that same in remedy? Can you give me example of execution in remedy?
A queue means lining up of jobs/threads like a pages in a printer.

From which version BMC started storing licenses in database? Is it from 7.1 or

What are you saying. You deleted field1 and created field2 with field ID of
field1 and still you can see the data of field1 in field2?
That is not possible. If you delete a field, remedy will delete its
corresponding column from the database.
Is there a way to create an VM Image for remedy and use it commercially for
trainings or leaning on multiple systems?
How can you install ITSM on laptop? Don't you need a license from BMC?

Today I was looking at one of the CI from asset dataset and found that system
has two CIs with same attributes. This is not only a single CI having duplicate
records but there are many (Nearby 150)
How can I remove the duplicate CIs from the system? Appreciate your thoughts

achieve this I need to decrypt the password stored in remedy and compare it
with a password which user entered.
