Installing Remedy 7.6.0.4 on Windows 2016

We're stuck using 7.6.0.4 due to end-user needs for the client. We need to upgrade the OS as Windose2003 is no longer supportable. I've tried installing it on Windows 2016 using Java 1.6 as the installer would not recognize 1.8x or 9x. Noted during the install, the installer did not list IIS

I turned on API and sql logging but have not been able to put a fingure on the problem. From the logs the issue occurs at the same time as the license manager does it stuff. Whether this is the culprit I cannot say. Here is the relevant sections of various logs. Perhaps you can see something I'm

I've never done what you are attempting. Is it a Windows box? If so I don't know is its doable do to where dll's get stored. On Ux I assume it's possible just give it a different install path. You'll probable need a separate Oracle instance too. As for our experience in upgrade from 7.5 to

What exactly did your DBA do? It sounds like they did a drop and import of prod data which is what I did or did they do something else? Doing this does not update the db schema tables with the new changes introduced by the 7.6 schema changes. In essense you would be running a 7.6 executables
