I have seen similar behavior with ARS 7.0.1(p003 I think) on Windows 2003 with a remote SQL 2005 database. The servers were connected to the same 1gb Foundry switch but for whatever reason they would look connections with eachother every once in a while. Since they were Windows I could see that
