Thanks Everyone for the input,
Based on your inputs I believe the best path is to create a custom Status
Reason instead of a custom Status. Then create a notification based on the
qualification of Status=Resolved and Status Reason=custom reason (with
obvious syntax corrections).

The Remedy culture lives on! Welcome back! I had to leave home for a time
too... in order to ensure that this home was the best home. Let me tell you
this... after exploring Service-Now, CA SDM, HP SM, IBM TSRM, Remedy and SDE
in-depth. Remedy still remains the best. What's
Hi All,
Created a Web Service and this was going just fine until I attempted to save
it. I used the following WDSL handler URL
http://192.168.23.10/arsys/WSDL/public/server alias/QuickTicket
Got an error - Failed to initiate JRE and internal Java module (7017). and the
URL that got saved
I have worked a little with WS’s and never had this problem either.
Before deleting I would export the WS to an XML file, and compare it with
another similar working WS’s exported XML definition, and see if there is a
possibility of correcting anything at that level..
If you see areas where
The URL on the WSDL tab is only used to show the WSDL when you hit the View
WSDL button. It has nothing to do with the actual abilities of the service
(as that is all dynamic from the Mid-Tier server as the request to pull it is
made).
If you really want to save it without the midtier_server
Hi Fred Joe,
I did not select the View WDSL button. Should I have done so? After reading
your email I did put the correct URL in a browser and it displayed just fine.

You have to remember that nothing is saved on the Mid-Tier server as a file.
It is all dynamically generated (That is why you can point multiple Mid-Tier
servers to a single ARS server).
The URL you see on the WSDL tab is just to display the WSDL in the Admin
Tool/Developer Studio.
Fred
Fred is right on the mark there.. This is especially true when you want your
URL to include permission group to use the WS. That would never
automatically be inserted in the URL.
So potentially you do not have a problem. Try consuming the WS that you have
created and there is a good chance it
Hi,
In 7.6.4, how do you give permission to everyone to see the dataset?
For some reason, most of the users can not see the new dataset that is
created.

Dave,
Thanks. Hopfully no one has clicked on the link. Looks like somehow my address
is being spoofed or my account is hacked.
Listers,
Apologies for the earlier email. I was just made aware of my posting and am
running scans on the pc and resetting passwords.
Sorry again.

Saby,
Not a problem. My post served two purposes. One to remind others to not click
on the link. The second was that you or some one that knew you would see the
reference. Both purposes were served.
Thank you for being so responsive.

Hi Saby,
No worries, it appears to be happening more often lately.
I looked at your account and saw you have been around for at least 9 years
without issues.

Hi,
Please check few points below which can be useful to resolve your issue.
For issue 1:
a) Just stop or deactivate other instances apart from the instance you
have mapped with your data exchange
b) Restart the instance (mapped with your data exchange) manually from

By default datasets do not have any permissions on them. If you want your

modify the permissions on the dataset to allow the permission group you
want to see it, to see it. For example adding public permissions will allow

Hey Everyone,
Just an FYI in case anyone ever wants to update the SRM services tile. We
found the .gif file in the Data Visualization Definition form and within
the SRMSServiceRequestBrowser.jar file, however, modifying those files had
