Yes, we have a lot of MacOS clients to our Remedy HelpDesk.

Hi Tommy
We have installed SRM v7.6 - there are alot of new features in the product
compared to the v2.0 release (such as smart questions and a handy SRD
wizard) - the actual install was a little tricky ... since we had to
upgrade our ARS and CMDB versions before doing the SRM install - but
Thanks for the heads up with the installation.
I am really getting tired of installer issues with this new version of
Remedy. So far I have had serious issues with the 7.5 p1 upgrade to CMDB
(didn't install all of the Product Catalog objects but said the install
was successful), AR 7.5 p3

Yeah, I know how you feel. In previous versions, if (when) there was a problem
with an installer, we could edit the script or so other relatively easy
workaround. But now, we don't have that ability, and the scripts don't give
reliable output on whether they ran successfully or not.

Does anyone know a way to set this for the server and not for user

Kevin,
The entry point could be coming from and active link guide as well and I
believe this was the case for Approval Central.

You can update the users preferences in User Preferences form. (if you
using preference server.)

Craig,
I hope this helps add some background (or maybe just some extra
academic thinking) on the topic.
I hate to, again, point out that acronyms suck. ( I really hate to
repeat myself. ) But GUID may not mean what you think it means.

The culprit is the guide AP:Pending Approvals - Load View. Remove the entry
point from this guide and that will get rid of the link on Home Page. The
thing with entry points in guides is that it is not related to the Home Page
but the form itself.

Hi Kevin
Select the Application object in the admin tool and right-click to bring up
properties. Then look on the Access Points tab - this should list all the
AL Guides that have entry points.

I hope this isn't an obvious question, but when I push a real field (ie, the
data in the real field is 2033.00) into a character field on another form, the
character field shows: 2.033000E3. Is this normal?

John...*Heavy* use of Mac and Mid-Tier - no, so far I'm the only one at my site. That said, the 7.5 (p3) mid-tier does officially support Safari on the Mac, and I can vouch for the fact that a 7.5 (p3) mid-tier on a Windows box does allow Safari/Mac users to use ITSM 7.01.x on a 7.01.p3 server.
We were not planning on using that. Is there a server setting for this?

Hi Kevin
Here's the equivalent in Developer Studio. Open up Applications under the
All Objects link (not the separate Applications link), then double-click the
Application - it contains a section for Access Points as shown in the
