Roger,
We made this type of move here at JPL, actually merging one server that was on
MS SQL with another server using an Oracle back end. We have about 1/4 of the
data you have, but we used a combination of RRRChive and the Migrator tool. We
used Migrator to move forms and workflow, which
Roger,
I failed to mention a key part of our data migration strategy. The idea was to
install RRRChive on multiple machines with each having a different config file
for a specific grouping of forms. Then for the weekend run, I mentioned below,
we simply started up the jobs on each machine.

only impressed with the software, but their support rocks!

David,
At this time is a big qualifier. Does that mean that it's under
consideration, or that's it's not under consideration but could be when the
stars align differently?
Thanks,
Bill

What's really funny is how on an ARS list from ARSlist.org we understood the
meaning, even if there was room for error on the interpretation. There's
something to be said for power of the human mind, which is at its most powerful
creating patterns from ambuiguity and uncertainty - but
accumulated in
the ARSList, and using it as a foundational reference. Additions, subtractions
- all revisions - would be a natural part of the publishing process as new
editions. This does not make the whole project unfeasible, only a journalistic
career track.

The Alt-Space is good for moving the object list, but you can also remove the
values in the Placement entry of the affected AR.ini file. This will recenter
the object list.

Sebastiaan,
That sounds great. Do you have any sample code? I've got a DV plugin that
would benefit from drag-and-drop functionality.

I'm hoping someone has done an integration between the solution database within

If you can provide some additional details about what you wish to
accomplish with your integration, I can provide some better
information on what method to use to best meet your requirements.
