NEW DELHI, March 22 When the then Vajpayee Government set up a separate
Ministry for the North Eastern Region (NER), it was hailed as fulfillment of a
long-felt need. However, the Ministry Development of North Eastern
Brahmaputra has no fish and acquatics left.
Because Govt. of India wants only to extract Oil and Gas -Free-- and
leave-/Dump all pollution to be solved by locals-- a thin invisible oil film
prevents atmospheric Oxygen getting into the water body.
