Many thanks for the explanations about my question regarding the boot
time. This weekend I started again to use astlinux and found the two
times booting process.
The first thing I asked myself, did I something wrong during the install?

I have an Alix board and Astlinux does indeed take this long to boot. When
I was researching building my home gateway/PBX I think I looked at Askozia.
As I recall i didn't select it because it was a PBX-only solution, and I
wanted a single-box solution for my PBX and home gateway/firewall solution
It takes about that long on my net5501 too and I notice that the web
UI has a 135 second (or so) wait for reboot so I think that is normal.
It looks like Linux is booting twice. My take on that is that Runnix
is a Linux OS and takes time to boot, then it reboots/reloads into the
actual OS f

Yes. Hook up a serial cable and you'll see why. During the boot
process, an initial boot loader (runnix) loads. That looks into the
'os' direct
