Of course, you are correct.
Once I generated the key disk properly, the first reboot generated the
keys, and from then on it does not.

Though I couldn't exactly do it the way you suggested, due to some
cryptic error regarding "magic" I did manage to get the flash
configured, the USB pen drive set up for the config files, and am now
in the process of working on the configs.

Assuming you get get the system to boot in one way or another (DSL
boot CD should work) all you should really have to do is make sure
that the flash isn't mounted, download the latest Astlinux from Source
Forge and then
gunzip -c /path/to/astlinux.img.gz > /dev/sda
replacing sda with whatever devic
I have been using Asterisk for some time now, but just started to
explore AstLinux, and after some searching of the archives, have a problem.
I want to install AstLinux on a thin client, one of the HP 5000 series.
This machine had Windows CE installed in flash, which makes it generally
useless!
