3D sounds are three-dimensional sounds, so listening to a recording with this type of audio you can hear it from all directions, right left in front and behind you. Galaxy phones have had this feature for several years already and now apparently

I don't know about 3D, but the iPhone 12 can certainly do stereo recording.I've got an iPhone 12 and those are my results, but maybe they released some new ones with the 3D feature? Not quite sure on that one. I got my phone on the first or second

I actually really like audio memos and did purchase the subscription. The only thing that slightly irritates me is the fact that even though I have the setting enabled to where controls appear on the lock screen, they are not appearing at all.

Ah, Dolby On is quite nice!BTW, once 2.3.5 of Dictaphone (or however it's spelled), comes out, stereo recording will be coming to said application. Thanks to an AppleVis thread on the subject, from the 21st of September.

Audioshare allows you to disable the audio processing but sadly it doesn’t record in stereo, maybe someone could contact the developer

yeah totally cool stuff on I-phones, I don't have one unfortunately, i have this other unusual phone that is quite ok, but the battery on it is a bit bad. but from what I've heard, I've listened to a few podcasts, and people have used there devices

A small update: I've just tested Ferite and Just Press Record, and they both allow you to record in stereo. Not sure how important stereo recording is to some people, but it seems to be gaining traction, and I'm sad to say I don't much care

To me, Alon Dictaphone is a decent option; however, it still doesn't record in stereo on any iPhone. Maybe it'll change in iOS 14 as said above. Otherwise it's an amazing programme.

No options, until iOS 14 comes out. Then 3rd party apps should be able to record in stereo as well.
