Re: Dungeons and dragon @Haramir, try Drivethru rpg for accessible pdf versions of the books, though some of the tables can go a bit wibly. In fairness often there are far more rulebooks than you actually need if your a player, usually you just want the player's handbook or similar

Re: Dungeons and dragon It is basically a set of rules for playing tabletop rpg. Tabletop rpg consists, generally speaking, on a group of players and a game master. The game master tells what is happening and you decide what to do next. This set of rules are sold in the form of books

Re: Dungeons and dragon I play a lot of DnD 5E. Like Dark mentioned above, the focus of the game is best left on the story rather than a board, and fifth edition has both smoothed out the rules and removed the need for minis that became so popular with 3.5 and 4. It has its flaws, sure

Re: Dungeons and dragon @Ghost rider, actually the original editions of D rules didn't have any board gaming or miniature style elements, and a lot of people are still playing 3rd ed because of that, because in 3rd ed you play the traditional way for any tabletop game, having a gm set
