Re: ubuntu mate, orca, and skype Antergos, it comes with Gnome by default but you can install a lot  of desktop environments with the installer and it's very easy to get going, that's what I'm using on my laptop.Not Arch but try Solus Mate, that's another choice but not blding edge pakages
