So trying out version 3.0, I still can't connect.  However, when going to settings>profile settings>set a character, I can hear sounds from the server when inputting my username and password.  But when pressing connect, it says that my character does not exist.

I'm not sure if Dating sites use image finger printing, but they have been moving more towards facial recognition for matching people with each other, the FBI's also been going a bit nuts compiling their own databases. This method can potentially make just grabbing an image off google less effective if its in a database they have access to, you could potentially edit the image to mess up the facial geometry, or use specially designed makeup and hair styles to mess with their systems ability to parse the image, but they could just block the account or request a new image they can process. Whats more, the facial profiling data could be used to comb the net and ID any facial images anywhere that match that profile. Makes me wonder if there will be a market for procedurally generated photo realistic facial profiles.There's another

WellVR's been around since the Vitual Boy (and what a flop that was) so it's nothing new honestly, and with Oculus's recent legal troublesand HTC being backed by ValveI'm not sure a new startup is going to enter the arena any time soon.I'm not excited for this tech because once again, it's a fancy proof of concept demo. When the Oculous was first being shown off it had a demo of walking around in a doom 3 mapand people were blown away bythe idea of using your hands to pick stuff up, or open doors and stuff...and look where VR tech is now.As far as the Steam doesn't give a flying rat's ass about disabled gamers, true, and do a bit of reading @post 3, the US laws are ever so slowly changing in favor of disabled gamers. Though I expect Valve to do the very, veryleast they can to comply with the law and then do nothin else. I doubt even a legal challenge would get them to act.

So I'm curious, where are the quests in this game? I've gone into these areas such as the graveyard and, as I said before, it seems like an area just for PK.What is the phone booth for? Is that part of a quest? If so which one? I went in there and dialed 911 for shits and giggles, but that was just a bit of fun and don't know where to get the quests. I saw a huge gathering killing each other in the RS Bar earlier today, was cool to watch, but if I want a game where I can kil other players I'll play Redspot.Which, I really don't, which is why I haven't even opened Redspot.

well when I read it there were 7 retweats and this was this morning 30 minutes out and there are only 2 spots, naturally I filled it in.I have actually enough work to be going on with but you don't pass up the chance to work for one of the large old core companies.It would be like if fs beta test team or something opened I'd still apply, even if I didn't last for that long even though I don't care about jaws it carries a lot of weight to be in one of those companies for jobs.While cash is less of a thing for gamers on the forums its reputation if I don't get in it was a fine side race.If I get in, then I will have fun juggling time round.

Yeah, a good job? A good job at what, making maps? That's about it. All of the bugs maybe, one or 2 fixed, are still there. O yeah, something I did a long time ago, the virtualizer, used for input boxes in the game...the only version of that virtualizer that had that tab key enabled was the btb virtualizer. Not only that, but I go in and type /help and its probably the exact same thing aside a few modifications. I also tried hidden commands and they worked, /123 says that I can't do that, yeah, that reboots NVDa on the currently hosted machine. Is there anymore I need to go on about? Come on, if I did something like this you would all be going down the admin's throats to ban me.

Hi,First off, I love eurofly so far! Getting the hang of the planes took a bit of work, but now I think I could even teach others.I just completed a task using a category 2 airplane. However, when I go to do free flying, only category 1 planes seem to be available to me. Am I doing something wrong in terms of changing categories? I thought everything just showed up in a vertical list. Do category 2 aircraft not unlock for free flying as soon as you use them on a task?Thanks for any help.-John

The issue with offfering people the ability to flag...anything really, is misuse. Look at Youtube for an example and the issue of false flagging there. Don't like somebody? Get all your subscribers to flag that person's stuff.It happens, and it will happen again with how people are if they don't like something.That's not to say that it isn't a nice idea, but I do think there needs to be a certain standard for blind gamers, deaf gamers, physically handicapped gamers and so forth, not just a single standard.I'll have to go look it up but I swear I read somewhere  that the US laws were changing in that regard.

When I download the update I get the message "finished" followed by "Desafio Mortal 3.0 Acabou de ser baixada!" Nothing after that happens. When I go to the game's download page I get this: "It seems that nothing has been found at this address. How about trying to do a search?"

Once you've done everything you need to in the village, go back up the same way you went when you got Elena. On the screen where you would have normally gone to the summit of the mountain though, go right and down instead and you'll get to the screen with the temple on it.

I don't know jade, I have liked questing at least as far as it goes, because I've always enjoyed a seak mission in an interesting area, though usually  interspurse campaigns and quests with doing other things like goals. I'm not sure on brutality of the tier system, though they have recently had a revamp of that so that people get a bit more over all progression as  to needing to restart. In terms of goals, I will say I've done 6 or 7 so far did find a couple slightly obscure, ie, they had a solution which required something more than could be found in the descriptions. Equally though people are a little nicer about sharing info than previously, especially if it's just a matter of looking for a mob, and also aardwolf does have some very solid tools for looking things up,  eg, a locked door puzzle isn't quite so bad when you can just use the map tool and be instantly told where the key is.

I dunno. Aardwolf prides itself on its questing (not goals, questing) which is extremely repetitive and tedious. I'm sorry, but having virtually the same text spat at you every x minutes so you can get a handful of qp is boring. I want my goals to give me qp. Sometimes they do, mostly they don't. What's more, you're expected to get literally tens of thousands of quest points eventually so you can purchase the best gear, so you're in for the long haul. A lot of people on Aardwolf use bots/triggers/that sort of thing for questing, if that gives you any idea.I also have some serious problems with the sheer lack of cohesion on that game. Mobs do random damage types (I once had a cow doing suction damage, and a tornado doing grep damage...what the hell is grep, anyway, except a programming term?), goals are rife with guess-the-syntax puzzles, and the tier/remort system is, in a word, brutal. Probably not as brutal as other mods, it's true, and they d
 o sometimes have double-EXP bonuses in play and whatnot, but it's still extremely repetitive. Take it from me. I have a tier 1 venomist (not a tier 0, which is what you start as), so I've been around the block a few times. I've also done approximately 75 goals, and frankly the only reason I was able to do some of them was by looking them up on the internet. If you have to rely on guess-the-syntax for artificial difficulty inflation, then you're doing it wrong as a programmer.So this is the sort of place you go for mindless killing and questing. Its lore is basically nil. Its RP is basically nil. Its systems are very grind-oriented. Its cohesion is basially nil. Its goals can be interesting but usually involve guessing verbs or syntax. So...uh, yeah. Have fun, I guess? I pop in there every so often when I'm cataclysmically bored.

It still exists. It's always been hard to download. You can usually find the latest version on the game's actual webpage. You can find the webpage by digging for the return of the king topic in new releases. You need a Baidu account though, which can be tough to sign up for and thus, people started putting the installer on dropbox, mega, etc. Obviously, this causes problems with links expiring and the like.As for the game just being harder to play, nope, it's flat out broken unless someone can show me a recording of actually playing the game. For reference, I don't consider the game playable unless we can read all menues, activate all skills, equip and unequip items and see the stats on them and the like, just as used to be possible before external application interaction was locked. Sure, we can still "play" the game now, but since only channel messages translate, that means we're effectively blind. We can't see enemy names, can'
 ;t see what items we have equipped, can't see which skills we're using or which skills our character even has, etc. It's kind of possible if you played the game before translation was broken, but definitely not for a new player and definitely not as playable as it used to be. Unless the english translation has advanced further than I thought it had, I contend that this game is broken until further notice and ask for solid evidence in the form of an audio recording if I am to be proven wrong.

The weirdest thing ever is that there is people who can log in, others saying that they've been in the inside and so on, but most of us can't enter.@Mojsior. it is not just killing people, its much more than that. the game doesn't work on my end at all now, it seems that there is a very serious bug. when I connect I can't do anything, I can't even close the session with escape. If I try to connect again after restarting the client after I imput my username I get a message saying kicking out old connection. Danny I hope you can fix this as soon as possible because I want to tryout the new features.
