Registering VIP Games Zone Games

Hi all,Is there any way at all to register the VIP Games Zone games? I purchased the Super Sport package about 7 years ago and would like to play them again. However, it looks like all the servers are gone. I can't do anything. Is there a way to contact Igor? This is precisely why a server-based authentication system fails. When the servers go down, you're royally fucked! It's a shame because I really like Funny Bowling. I wonder if we could contact Igor and have him remove the registration system and make online play peer to peer?

Being in the situation he's in doesn't excuse anything he's done, but children (or anyone really) can handle life with a dysfunctional family in some pretty negative ways. One child can take it out on others, while another child can handle it fine or just in a different way. Combine that with being at that age and the crowd he might be around at school, and you have a recipe for something bad. He definitely knows that what he's done (or is still doing) isn't right. Sending heat back his way would likely just screw him up even more.

Think about each clue as as it relates to nature and the  cycles of growth. Some of them are a little ambiguous, but you can figure them out via process of elimination. For example the small thing that gives life can only really match with the seed symbol.

I think that's why they're called hard starters... and who knows. Every starter has custom moves that they wouldn't normally start with if you caught them. EG pichu starts with thunderbolt.

Hi,I went to the screen reader version of Trimps, and if I press space bar on the "trap" button, which says "can buy", it still just says trap 0, and nothing in cue. I am using the latest version of NVDA, and in this version, I also can not mouse over things properly.

Are you sure the texts are not saved in the cloud somewhere as a wait before full delete measure? If the police step in, they may also get permission to grab the texts from the server which might still be their.By the way I agree with 12 and 26, their isn't much you can do to this kid that's worse than what he's already going through, that doesn't mean you should let it slide, but as others said, piling on more abuse is only going to make it worse. I don't know how good your family life has been but if it isn't like his, you just can't really understand his mindset.

@Origine, You can switch your player actions around but you'll need that science sooner or later, and  trimp scientists aren't as good  as other workers.As for the game, part of the reason your not seeing upgrades is that  your not using the map chamber, prestige versions of equipment as well as other important upgrades only show up in side maps, indeed when you create a side map you'll see it says "items" and then a number such as zero which tells you how many upgrades there are to find on it.plus of course every side map you complete gives you an extra %10 damage boost to the  same level zone in the world making that zone easier.I'd not personally recommend leaving the game running on the main world for too long, your trimps don't level up by themselves and everything they face gets tougher to the point that your progressing so slowly it doesn't matter. You can however leave them on a side map to gather resources, just stick the map on repeat with R, though unless you've bought lots  storage upgrades it doesn't make sense to do this for more than a few hours (I just left my trimps battle through a forest side map to find some extra wood for a couple of hours whilst Mrs. Dark and I had Pizza, which now means the main map is easier, apart  me having used the resources to buy some handy upgrades. Actually I'm now wondering whether to portal back or press on since I just found some awesome stuff, as well as respect my perks  has improved things.

I'm posting in here not with advice, no. It's to say farewell. Farewell SBYW, farewell all the maps I've built, farewell. Am I sad that SBYW is going down? Yes. Do I want it to stay up in the first place? That one is a toss up for me. I do and I don't, for multiple reasons which I'll keep to myself. Have I expected this? Totally, a couple of weeks ago, actually. Will I play Mason's games in the future? Nope, probably not. What will I do now that SBYW is gone? Nothing. I'll move on, probably build myself a builder like SBYW and play around with 3d stuff, but that's it. It's over. Mason is taking the game down and there's nothing you or I can do. Accept it and move on.

Everything can be completed with the game going twice it's original speed. You're complaining is do to you being bad at minigames, plane and simple.Your point about BGT randomization would be valid except the following: There are always constants in crazy party. I can always expect something in every minigame. I dare you to prove  me wrong. If you can't find those constants, keep playing. You will eventually.For all you math haters, here's a thing. If you know your multiplication tables up to 15 you'll be fine, 12 will suffice, and 10 will scrape by. For square roots, it's the matter of memorizing perfect squares, i.e:1*1 is 12*2 is 43*3 is 94*4 is 165*5 is 25And so on. Memorize those squares up to 15 and you'll mostly breeze through square roots. Memorize the squares up to 12 and you'll pass, and as usual, memorizing up to 10 will probably scrape by.Addition and subtraction are the hardest ones in the math department, as they have no pattern what so ever. However, you will only start going beyond 100 after you break 10 points, which is plenty to unlock and or pass the game. I'm sorry, but if you can't calculate what's 42+33 or 79-52, that's your issue. It's basic math, and it's the first ever concept you're taught in school. If it was something like, say, factoring I'd understand, but it's basic math.What I will  somewhat agree with is simon. I believe that each sequence should be worth 3 points instead of 2. That way you'll have to memorize 10 sounds instead of 15. I've unlocked the game and it's now excluded from my lists now, heh.I think coins are fine. People are correct here. No game, besides the stupid chasing the fairymones or whatever it's called, is too terribly difficult. People are also correct here: Why does it matter? Why do your loss and win records matter? Maybe it's cool points for you, but I mean, you could just hit alt f4 on the game if you're that worried about your stats. It doesn't matter how bad you were when you started, it matters how good you are now. Still, I would understand the coins being bumped up to, say, 25. That gives the player a chance, even if they're super bad at the minigame *coughs* "OP", to try again.TLDR: The scoring system is fine. It just means that you suck at the game. The coin amount is fine as it is, but I would understand why Pragma would raise it higher. The intellectual is fine as it is, though that doesn't mean that I won't like new games to be added. Read: New games, not paths.

CAE, thank you for reminding me. All right, here go some more thoughts on this.For blindness accessibility, do it like everyone else does. People don't realize that all their iPhones, Macs, Apple TVs, Fire TVs, and Windows computers include a built-in screen reader, magnifier, etc. Why can't we do the same for games? Add an accessibility menu in the settings screen and a key combination that toggles the text-to-speech on or off. This could be documented on the game's information page or manual, and most people wouldn't know it was there.Regarding a built-in text-to-speech system, why not use eSpeak? It's free, cross platform, open source, very small, and supports many many languages. It doesn't sound fantastic, but it's better than having no speech at all and there would be no need to pay royalties (I'm looking at Nuance and Eloquence *cough*). Please, what ever you do, don't use Eloquence. Just let that synthesizer die. It's not actively maintained anymore and hasn't been worked on in over a decade.Ianhamilton, I hope you can spread this topic to many developers. As I said, I think it would be extremely helpful if some of these folks came on here and we could have an honest conversation about this. People just don't understand, and I think this could help break down that particular barrier. My hope is that the more people that do this, the more mainstream attention it attracts. Fun fact I just now discovered, even if you change the footstep function to CC's value, it actually seems to still work for regular crystal perfectly fine. Also, I found this, though it's from an old version so is slightly out of date. A partial list of starters, that seems to be in order! I voted for a combination of text-to-speech, recorded audio, or whatever else may work.  I have several thoughts in this area, so here we go.;  Overall, I think text-to-speech provides the most flexibility.  Games are no longer static pieces of software that get released as a final product.  There often updates that change and add functionality to a game.  Using text-to-speech allows accessibility to continue working, even as menus, controls, and other text is changed or is added.  It also more easily allows a user to customize the speech for their needs.  Allowing multiple voices to choose from, as well as speed control, can make the spoken items easier for people to understand.  Some people hear higher or lower pitch voices easier or harder to hear, so offering a few voice choices, and even pitch control options will help.  Finally, using text-to-speech can allow for language choices.  Maybe a user wants to hear text spoken in their native language.  Text-to-speech (TTS) more easily allows this.  Regarding the language topic, I have a perfect example.  I'd LOVE to hjave TTS support in the Yakuza games.  All spoken content is in Japanese, and often moves quickly and automatically for cut-scenes.  Being a fan of the Shenmue series, and games like this, I'd really love to play the Yakuza games on PC, but the language barrier prevents me from doing so.  If anyone knows of a solution for making these games TTS friendly, please do let me know.  I like the idea of some titles, like fighting games, use some partial voice acting.  This can be useful when voice samples are included for selecting and speaking menu items or characters.  Usually these are spoken after the user has made the selection.  There could be an option to have these same audio files spoken as each menu item or character is being moved to, instead of after the item has been selected.  I like hearing the announcer in Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat announce the fighters, so this could work to keep the mood and feel of the game, but have TTS pick up where there are no voice samples available, like options menus and such.  As for using a system-wide TTS vs in-game TTS solution, I see advantages and disadvantages to both.  I would love to see all platforms have system level screen readers like Microsoft's Narrator for XBOX One.  The user could have their screen reader preferences set system-wide, and have those settings apply to all games that support an API that uses that screen reader.  Depending on how much overhead the sysstem and game has, there may be some lag between the time text appears, and when it's read aloud.  In a fast paced game, this may not work enough.  Having a single-game based TTS solution would be nice becuase the game would be able to offer the same level of accessibility independent of platform.  Everyone, no matter what system they played the game on, would have the same level of screen reader/TTS accessibility.  The developer may also be able to optomize for any lag as well.  However, this would put more work on each developer to include this type of accessibility, which I don't know that many would do.  I have played the PC version of Skullgirls and was very impressed with its ability to work with whatever screen reader I had installed and chose to use with the game.  And it reads everything, menus, controls and move lists, character dialog, etc.  I really want to see how Eagle Island's self-contained TTS works, but based on the accessibility video he released, there's a lot of potential here.  And since this screen reader seems baked into the game, I think this accessibility will be available in any platform it's released on?  For audio ducking, there should probably be not only an option to enable or disable it, but for a percentage slider.  Some games will work fine with no audio ducking, but titles with lots of action happening via audio, in addition to music, it would be helpful to be able to adjust not only the typical SFX, Music, and Dialog levels, but the TTS voice levels as well.  Everyone's hearing is also different.  One thing I'm really waitingt for is, not just main menus and pause menus to speak.  There are so many mainstream games that have endless numbers of inventory menus, skill trees, perks screens, weapons and armor screens, etc. that have loads of stats and descriptions that are often in quite small print.  I'd kill for games to start supporting TTS in these areas.  I'd Love to be able to mouse over, or arrow through these screens and much more easily be able to chose my next level-up skill, perk, or stats.  I'd Love to be able to more easily compare weapons, armor, and other items in RPG's or games like Borderlands, where you're getting new equipment every two seconds.  Then I could save the vision I do have for actually playing the game, rather than reading pages and pages of menus and stats.  I think it's also important to

Nope I don't care about space if it makes my games work. I wish text to speech went beyond home consoles to the portables. I was a total gameboy growing up and that part of me remains today. Phone games just don't quite feel like portable console games, and I feel like in that regard there is more want for individual preferences, because more than likely you will not have to share the console with someone who doesn't need a screen reader and finds it annoying so you have to turn it back on after someone else uses the console.

Both sides of this discussion are correct. I also think decryption of sounds is nothing. there are bigger things to be worrying in application development.I would suspect this psudo dictionary attack to work most of the time. I would suspect that most BGT devs don't have a formal education in computer science let alone cyber security/cryptography. They read, "You can encrypt your sounds from being stolen." They think to themselves this is something I want to do, I want to protect my hard work from hackers. They aren't aware of the reality. They probably either pick a stupidly simple phrase or mash on the keyboard which isn't that hard to crack. they would never make the phrase a bunch of non-printable chars.I proper education in computer science hopefully will give someone the understanding of BGTs shortcomings. This kind of research has to be done in public. Not in secret. Maybe, it might give an incentive for an BGT update. but i am not holding my breath. Admins should not delete any posts. Unless they are endangering people's safety.

And you can be sure that releasing it would make REAL harm to our games.Sounds decryption is just a warning: "Hey, think more about what's happening in the background."thus this small utility should be kept imo as an example for developers what they can expect and how to prevent it.But it's on moderators. Anyway, leteckaposta is a service, which deletes all uploads after fixed period of time. In this case it's around 30 days. So after a month, this will be deleted anyway.Regarding wrapping into a function like string_lower_case, this really helps. Sadly only in case of sound decryption, because it protects memory where it saves the password. But everything that you handle in BGT code is easyly visible in memory, if you don't make something special to hide it. that's important and many devs forget it.@Ethin: using non-printable characters will really slow down the process. In that case, third version of Samtupycracker, which allows for raw dump search is required. Of course disassembling is still the most reliable way to go around, but there are just few people in our gaming community able to use it, while there are many others who may potentially discover these much easier paths and use them to much worse things than sound decryption. I know it sounds fishy, that's why I am fearful in the first place. But I can't think about that anymore. I know I have some explaining to do, and possibly go through trouble because of that, but what's done is done. I have to move on and confront that when I tell them. Yes, kid is in middle school, same school as her. His parents smoke and drink a lot, so that will definitely contribute to the situation. However, substance abuse doesn't always a people, I know some people who's parent or parents have the issue but they are not like this. If the kid needs help then I hope they get him help. I just want her to be ok, and him to get an outcome to help him. As for recording, this is a self defense method, it is legal. If you feel threatened, you are allowed to get it on camera. But I think talking to the school about setting up cameras in that area should be discussed first before she starts recording. As of today, she is already at school and I think there is test, so she would have to record today and then tomorrow talk to them about caeras along the bus route. maybe seeing cameras is enough to deter him.

My original idea circa 2002-4: pre-recorded, but only plays when the user presses a certain button.As of 2006 or so: discovered that (1) some mainstream games just had menus talk by default, and (2) all the sighted players were complaining about it. Disappointing but doubled down on "press square/select/R3 for speech", with possibly making it a toggle instead of a single event.2016-ish: it'd sure be a pain to record everything, especially when numbers and various settings are involved. How hard would it be to include a TTS?2019: Basically the same. What everyone says about using screen readers having cross-platform issues, etc, seem like they'd discourage using the built-in screen reader, and the disparities between PS4 and Xbox in this area do not help. In an ideal world, screen reader would probably be the way to go—heck, just give people a style guide for on-screen text, so all they have to do is the equivalent of add an alt tag and the system / user handle the rest—but as-is, that ain't happ'nin'. So someone make a 3rd party cross-platform TTS engine, and let everyone use that. The only annoying bit is that it'd add, like, a hundred megs to every game, but if Facebook needs more space than that for the iOS app, I don't see most people caring.

Also, I didn't get any new building or equipment in a while, last building I  have is the gym and last equipment is the breastplate, I'm at zone 12, am I doing something wrong? For cc go into the lua folder found in pca, from there go to lang, then to eng, then to ram.lua and open it with a text editor and change the numbers at the end of ram_footstep function to 0x2984. Oh they'll deal with it. It's true that you can't legally charge a child, but there are even exceptions for that. For one thing, if a child murders someone, given age and the like, they can rule in the courts to proceed with his trial as if he were an adult, so anything he would face, he would face the adult sentence. Also, they can throw him in a juvenile detention center, commonly called juvi, or juvenile hall. Also sometimes you can be sentenced to juvi until you're 18. In some cases, if it is a bad crime, you can be sentenced to juvi until 18, then from juvi to the penitentiary.Also parents can be held legally responsible for the crimes their children commit.

Middle school is approximately 12-14 years of age. Seventh through ninth grades, roughly, in Canada and the United States.And Zarvox, here's the deal. If you knew it would hurt evidence but told her to do it anyway, the very first thing they're going to ask you is this: "If you knew it'd make things worse, why did you suggest she do it?". Because that sounds fishy on its own. I'm not saying it is, but it definitely sounds that way. And the reason given, "I didn't want her to have to read them anymore" is...not all that strong, to be perfectly straight about it. This is the one part of this situation that doesn't really make a ton of sense to me.Whatever the case, though, I maintain my previous stance, and the best thing you can do going forward is to be strong and to be truthful. Do be careful about trying to get your friend to record her trips to the bus stop, however. Legal gray areas there, if stuff happens.

Oh, middle school, that's the US equivalent of primary school in Britain right? As in up to 12? I don't know about the law in the US, but if this kid is under a certain age, he might not be prosecutable and the police will be powerless other than to talk to parents. I had a problem with kids that were around that age. It sounds pathetic, but I'm totally blind, so there wasn't much I could do to stop them throwing stuff at my house and giving me abuse. The police told me they took hate crime very seriously, but it would be hard to prove that it was hate crime, and that they couldn't prosecute kids under a certain age. They seemed a bit useless to be honest. What stopped them in the end was my neighbours identifying the families of some of the main offenders, and the local housing authority who owned their homes threatening them with eviction if they didn't get their kids in line. It wasn't just me they were bothering. My elderly neighbour moved house because of the harrassment, and they were responsible for a lot of vandalism and petty crime. Oh, middle school, that's the US equivalent of primary school in Britain right? As in up to 12? I don't know about the law in the US, but if this kid is under a certain age, he might not be prosecutable and the police will be powerless other than to talk to parents. I had a problem with kids that were around that age. It sounds pathetic, but I'm totally blind, so there wasn't much I could do to stop them throwing stuff at my house and giving me abuse. The police told me they took hate crime very seriously, but it would be hard to prove that it was hate crime, and that they couldn't prosecute kids under a certain age. They seemed a bit useless to be honest. What stopped them in the end was the community identifying the families of some of the main offenders, and the local housing authority who owned their homes threatening them with eviction if they didn't get their kids in line. It wasn't just me they were bothering. My elderly neighbour moved house because of the harrassment, and they were responsible for a lot of vandalism and petty crime. What I'm saying is if this kid is too young to be prosecuted, the only thing that might work is consequences for the parents. They're the ones who exercise greatest control over kids this age.

so I've determined that that clock deck is no good. It's just way too slow. If the time cards worked twice as fast it might be okay, and I"m hoping they make the time cards a bit stronger somehow or add newer ones. I could see time healing being a useful card to have around for longer battles, where the turn number would actually get long enough, such as in a 1200 hp battle, but healing only 1 extra health per turn you stall is simply no good. I think having it heal 2 hp per turn number would be okay, though that doesn't  scale to the really short battles of 30 hp very well. Still, you can outdamage a time deck as long as you beat it in less than like 7 or 8 turns, and with a well-built deck that's not so hard.

Another idea that came to me to simplify code for missions is just to have them all be 200 crates but instead of having in the menu, retreat your mission, have finish the mission with how ever many crates you have found. I know you can do this now with retreat the mission but that only gives you xp and food for the crates found by you and not the team. lets say a group of 4 start a mission where the cap of crates are 200 but they can only find 150 and they want to end the mission but still split the pot evenly, the leader can select finish the mission with the current amount of crates. I am not sure if when you retreat the mission and you are soloing one if it gives you the same amount it would if you would have created the mission with that amount to begin with. this would or could help with the crate bug for now, lets say that team of 4 found 150 and the last 50 don't drop, instead of having to look again they can just choose to finish the mission with that amount. also sometimes i start a 100 and i realized i could have finished a 200 this would allow me to keep going or if i get lazy just finish the mission where i am at.

I'm curious, does anybody actually know how the starter screen of crystal clear actually works? Like, does it just show pictures of the pokemon with no text? Wondering why that of all things doesn't read whatsoever.I'm also trying to figure out how they changed routes 46 and 45... not quite sure why the script displays a north connection to 45 from route 29, but then there's only a connection to 46 through the gate. I just wanted to ask if the boy who is threatening and targeting her is also in middle school like she is? I don't want this to come off in a way that might be offensive, but it seems that, given the information you've written about the problems with his family, that his behavior is a result of those problems. I don't know how dysfunctional his family is, but what he probably needs the most is time with a professional. I'd have to agree with what others have already touched on. Taking a solution like the third one has a lot of potential for backfiring. Not only might it make the situation worse, but it could get other people involved, like members of his own family, who'd want to take matters like the ones you are suggesting. Not only that, but if you do take the situation to authorities, doing anything from the third solution could put you in a less than favorable position with them. I agree that you shouldn't have too much faith in the school handling things completely on their own, so both solutions 1 and 2 sound great. Keep a record of any response the school gives you in case they don't deliver, and if necessary, take it to the police. Making posts online to try and raise awareness about the situation would be a nice motivator for the school due to the threat of media attention. The best case would be to get the child some form of counseling so no other students have to worry about this.Edit: I wasn't sure about something I wrote, so I was looking into information about it, and it appears that it's perfectly fine to take the situation to the police if the school is not willing to come up with a solution that handles the situation. (which I'm not expecting) Harassment and assault are still offenses in a school setting, so legally it will be taken seriously.

I am aware it might be a scam, but I know my friend very well, and she knows me very well. But I have taken that possibility into account. There is one person who has done it to me before, but it was outragiously false and I was too dumb to realize. I'm not dumb anymore. It is very hard to move on after making a big mistake like this, but I need to. Was it big? Yes. Have I put things at risk because of it? Yes. But should I give up from a mistake? No. I need to reach out, even though it is difficult. I wil also mention to her to start recording her trips to the bus. I hope she does not get asulted again, never would I wish that. But if it does, it needs to be on recording. She just needs to have her phone out of her pocket when he does it. At this point, I can only hope the texts can still be used as evidence. I think the thing I need to realize is that in a lot of cases, perfect evidence does nto exist. I think I am trying to tell myself that evidence has to be perfect or it doesn't count. The good old, all or nothing attitude. So I am going to change that attitude, and continue to help with what I can, asking some people along the way, maybe even reaching out to y'all on the forum some more too. I don't think you can blame yourself for having her delete the messages. It's not your fault for just innately knowing how to deal with a problem like this. Yes, you could very well have screwed up the chance for direct evidence, but just tell them everything that happened, your involvement in it, your reasoning for doing what you did. They're going to find it all out at some point anyway, so just be 100% straight with everything you tell them.

@AlirezaNosrati, I've got an 8 gb ram machine here, on google chrome with NVdA its taking up exactly 0.04 percent of the processor load according to the task manager, so I doubt its a specific trimps problem, indeed I've been having the game run in the background a fair amount while I do other things and its been %100 fine. the screen reader layout does help a lot, I've now  got up to zone 30 and am preparing to portal and try the metal challenge, though I'm tempted to finish zone 30 first and see if I can get a bit more helium to raise looting and motivation, oh and yes, I am obviously taking at least some of the advice from the truth guide on the trimps wiki, though not all, since I have found a few differences, for example one ironic thing is that an even spread of trimp workers actually helps since all resources are equally useful somewhere and its easy enough to run an extra map in a different biome if you need a specific resource for something.I would recommend anyone playing with a screen reader not bother with the agility perk, since it just makes both enemy and trimp spawning faster  which effectively speeds the hole game up, but since your goig to be taking a wee bit of extra time looking at stuff anyway, you might as well save the helium for other things.  I realize that trying to buy as many explorers as possible was probably a bad move and will save the food for other things next time, still its living and learning which makes this sort of game so addictive, that  and calculating things on the fly.

You still need to help your friend open this up to the appropriate people (parents, school, authorities, etc). The best thing you can do, if this happens, is to own your part in it. Mention that you deleted the texts (or had her do it, rather). Ask about message recovery software, which will hopefully exonerate you.That being said, there is one thing I have to say here, and you aren't going to like it. I'm not saying I believe this next bit, but it bears consideration:On the very, very outside chance that any or all of this is some sort of scam to screw over an innocent, you're going to be in a world of hurt if it gets out, and so is she. If that ends up being the case (either because you already know, or because you find out about it), the best thing you can do is get the hell away from it and -not escalate it. But if it only comes out as a scam after you make it public - in other words, she's hoodwinked you and you fell for it - you need to just tell the straight truth.Again, I am not saying this is what I believe. I don't believe this at all at this point, in fact. I'm bringing it up because it is a possibility. I don't know you or your friend and I do not want this to be the case for either of you. But accusing someone of stuff in order to get them in trouble, when they're either wholly innocent or have dodged punishment before, is really not the way to go about things. That's literally all I'm saying here.I hope, for everyone's sake, that this is taken seriously and that everything comes out in the end. If the dude messages her again, try and get your friend -NOT to delete any of that message history. Ask her not to look at it, maybe, or to not dwell on it, but deleting it was a bad mistake in a case where you may very well require that information for action to be taken.

You know, another thought would be to have alternative scoring modes. Maybe with gems, you could purchase a different scoring mode. I don't know how difficult this would be to code, but it's just a thought. It seems like there are a lot more things you could purchase with gems or coins.

I definitely think forts could maybe be looked at in the future. I know one thing many of us talk about is the cost to enter. I definitely agree with there now being a cap, however in my opinion, a 350 food entry fee is far too small. If you are of a level to fight, or higher level perhaps I should say, 350 food is a drop of water in the bucket. So while I agree things could perhaps change with regards to food in forts, I think something like max 1200 food to enter and attack is more reasonable. In light of the fact that even if you can't mission, a farming seed will give you enough food to attack twice, assuming you have at least a small amount of food on you.

Hello,I voted for Internal synthesised speech with speed/voice options because I think that trying to do screen reader support or integrating with tts APIs would be more time consuming and less economic for developers because they would have to do different stuff for each platform.

I am so nervous. I shouldn't have made her delete them, even if I knew she was going to dwell on them. And even worse, she can look at them, from this topic, so there was no point in the first place, I didn't think I would post about it. If we can get them recovered, then we will do our best. But, if we can not, I hope to justice that I can be proven innocent and these texts can be used as evidence against him. I directly copied and pasted these messages from her, and she directly forwarded them to me. So no characters have been aded or removed to the texts. Also, I still have all of the messages she sent to me backed up, so it does show on my end the first 5 that she sent to me. I think she still has the rest in our conversation, and maybe the rest in his conversation. I am really nervous that I have destroyed this evidence and that I might be considered a suspect. I know this is selfish thinking and this problem isn't about me, but I am worried about my part in this situation too.

Methinks you've missed the point entirely . The difference between a MUD and Virtual Reality is more like the difference between reading a Star Wars novel, and going to Disney World to ride Star Tours. One is just words, the other was flippin' awesome in 1997 but simulators like that got way better by the time Universal's Islands of Adventure added that Spider-man ride, and the Nicktunes ride might possibly have beaten it (as much as being dragged around by Spongebob Squarepants can be considered realistic).I say "more like", but that's pretty much exactly the difference. Games are interactive, whereas the books and rides are not, but the difference in the experiences are the same.I need to go back and reread what was said regarding UI for things more easily handled via menus. I will point out, though, that VR is all about immersion, and menus aren't very amenable to immersion.

Yeah, I'm an idiot, because I already had her delete the conversation from her phone because I knew she would look at the texts and dwell on them. So yes, I kind of fucked myself over for that. However she sent them to me, but I had her delete some of those too. So if we were to try using these texts so far, athorities would think I made them up since I am the main carrier of them. Yes, I know, I fucked up. I did a lot. I even told her that doing this would delete primary evidence, but made her delete them anyway. I'm sorry. I don't want to be in this stress because I made that decision. It put her and me in a bad place. Do you know how hard it will be to convince them I did not write these texts? Or she didn't? There is message recovery software, but she does not have a mac or windows, so we need to get her to someone who does, and try restoring the original messages, so that way the evidence can be there again, because I've seriously fucked up. And it's decisions like this that make me horrible with helping. We could have them on her phone logged starting now, but that would not look good on me still, because they would think that I started it. But she did give me his number, so that is proof that it is not a secondary number I could have used. I guess you could say I have tampered with the evidence, fuck me for it, but do you think I am convince them I or she did not write these? She might have the last 2 or few messages from his conversation still, I hope so, but the first 5 for sure are lost on the original conversation.

I think we're well past the point of trying to get Mason to do anything. He won't, and he's deleted his twitter... again. What will he come back as next time, new name, new brand, same old Mason?I think the plan is to just get everybody else to stop supporting the guy. Stop going to his games, stop talking to him, stop associating with him, etc. People won't though, they're hooked on the games like crack bro, it's weird. I spent time on SBYW too, and had lots of fun, but I wasn't on there every waking moment of every single day either. The Mason supporters are fanatics, so we need to move away from them too. Arguing with them, yelling at them, whatever else we might want to do isn't going to solve it. Look when I was on there yesterday about that techie guy, he just flat out refused to hear anything against Mason. Well others are like that too.I know Mason got turned into what he is now by this community, not as a whole, but by some people in it. What happened to him wasn't right and it wasn't fair. But guess what, each and every day he wakes up, he makes the choice to be that way. I could even see plodding on as only you know how, but people have been telling him this forever now. They've been telling him that he's doing this stuff, that he literally is a slave to his own emotions, and he won't change. So really, what else can be done.When you argue with people, you should do it selectively. Pick people whom you think you have a chance of persuading to your way of thinking. People you have a chance to convince. If someone is mired down in their weighty views and have been that way for a long time, forget it. Arguing with zealots or fanatics does nothing but wastes both your time. So only talk to people who seem like they're willing to hear you out. But when you do, you can't be the one who's so strong in their views that you refuse to see their side either.I think the goal moving forward should be to try to convince as many supporters as are willing to listen to step away from him. I think Mason supporters already are doing this to a degree. I think even they have been shocked by this. If he has no supporters, he won't be able to continue developing, or well, he can but it will reach no one, or so little people it will make no difference.Also, let's just make it plain to the casual reader that all the stuff being talked about is not just regarding SBYW, it's a collection of Mason's behavior for years now. People are losing out on stuff they purchased, in a small community where purchasing his games could have been a fairly substantial investment for them. Don't look at it and be like what's $5, or what's $15. It's relative to their income, so don't judge based on your financial wellbeing. Also, finances are just one angle, people are tired of being jerked around. Seeing one thing from him, and another thing happens out of the blue. Also it's not as if we haven't tried to help him either. It's not like oh the man made one mistake and now everyone's getting out the pitch forks. Just look at the way he made the mods' job more difficult regarding UP and his indecisiveness.

I agree with IronCross. Most of that audio was just him talking about how Mason needs to clean up his act, and I don't feel that warrants a caution. However I understand the vented frustrations being thrown at Mason. One thing I would like to bring up is a point master of death said. A lot of people have bought paid accounts. A paid account costs $5 for those who don't know, and a user could buy multiple. I feel it is a little unfair to the people who have bought many to just throw this game away, especially  when money isn't an issue. The main reason, the game was taken down, or at least from what I was told, was the last topic. I was also told that a person cheating was another cause. I don't want to flame against Mason in this post, but if you are going to develop in the future, you need to grow a thicker skin. People are going to throw shit at you all day if you keep acting like this, and you can't seem to take it at all. If someone is going to run an online game, they need to be able to handle criticism, whether  that be constructive or otherwise. Just some thoughts
