And as a side note considering it was a website designed to facilitate cheating with married partners, I may be upset at everyones data being compromised, after all theyre still people, but if we count in the morality of the site, the site developer really had it coming. I can understand some of this. There are mainstream things released similar to this, called zero-day vulnerabilities. And its possible that this user simply didnt want to know us, or just isnt too social, or idk. Im just saying that zero-day vulnerabilities are if not common, at least not too uncommon. As to this specific instance, usually there will never be anyone who would splice voice files to make people say something. Still, the potential is there, and this code has to be explicitly added to the program, so.

Mayana, if you dont mind, could you send me a few different saved games? Like, start over and save, and make sure it wont load. Then do that again so you have 2 broken save files. Maybe once you have like 3 or 4, send them all to me. Maybe there is some pattern to something inside of them that will help me figure out what is going wrong. If possible, put all 3 or 4 saved files into a zip before sending it to me. That would help preserve the original files so they will be exactly as they were on your computer.

After a hard time, I managed to beat all 10 opponents on the easiest level. Overall, the gameplay is good. I would like to give a suggestion. After the final tile is dropped on the board, can it be made so that the player can still navigate the game board before facing the next round? So that I can study the tiles, especially to more understand the result produced by the final move. From my observation, plus rule sometimes triggers during the final move, which I will not be able to figure out, because the game board cannot be navigated anymore.Thanks.

Quite honestly, its a small breakthrough, but we would need more accessible avionics that would allow totally blind people to fly any kind of aircraft or spacecraft.I have flown in a glider with a student pilot, and since I have done plenty of research on how planes worked, he let me try out the controls. The three main rotations of axes are roll, pitch and yaw. Roll is when you tilt your plane left and right by raising one aileron of the left wing up, so that it falls to one side, while the right aileron is lowered to create more loft. Roll is either controlled by twisting the handle of the control stick left and right, or by pushing it left and right. In my case, it was the latter.Pitch is done with the nose of the plane is pointed up or down. This is controlled by pushing or pulling the control stick away or towards you. This can raise the horizontal wing on the tail called the elevator, changing the way air moves through it.Finally, yaw is a rotation ma
 de on a vertical axis. Its like spinning in a swivel chair. This is controlled by swinging the vertical rudder using two pedals by ones feet.For tose of you who dont know what a glider is, it is a small and lightweight plane with very very long wings. The top of the wing is slanted but the bottom wing is flat. This allows air above the wing to move faster than air going over the bottom. This causes less pressure to be pushed down on the top wing, but more pressure on the bottom. This creates a type of fource called lift.Im sure that for those of us who were great at flying a plane in 3D velocity would would already build their experience.

Microphone problem with RealTek Audio Manager

Hello everyone,I recently bought an Olympus ME-51 stereo microphone so I could record my instruments with a stereo image. It was working fine one day, but when I went back and tried to use it a few days later, the thing just stopped working. So I went and tried plougging in the microphone into a USB adapter, only to find out that it was a mono adapter that didnt support stereo.I have a Windows 10 desktop which I recently upgraded, with Realtek Audio manager. Whenever I plugged in my microphone to the correct jack, a popup window comes up saying that a device was connected. However, when I went into the recording page in sound configuration, it said that the microphone was not plugged in, even though it was.Could this be a problem with the driver? I would really appreciate some help with this problem!Many thanks.

Yukionozawa, page up and page down should adjust the sapi rate. I think it was more than 1 day, but it was broken up so Im not quite sure. I started it on Saturday afternoon, and had it posted on here Sunday night. Well actually it might have technically been Monday morning since it was after midnight. I did a lot of stuff over the weekend that wasnt programming, so I dont have any way to know how many hours of coding it actually took. It would be a cool habit if I could get myself to somehow keep track of the time I spend on projects. Even if it was only for my own amusement, it might be neat to know.The great thing about a game like this, is that there isnt a whole lot of work involved to build it. I did spend some time online trying to figure out how the game is played before I made my own, but even that was less work than sitting and trying to come up with my own game that has its own rules.  ding someone elses game, it really saved me a lot of time. I can see why many other developers like to recreate existing games as accessible versions... it skips a ton of the usual headaches. ROFL!

I just posted an update.Changes from 0.4c to 0.5- Whoops! Just fixed a bug that was causing everyone to be playing on the normal difficulty, even if you had picked an easier or harder one.- An Instant action option has been added. Selecting this will drop you directly into a fight against a computer opponent, where you have both been given a random set of tiles to use. Winning these matches does not advance you through the game or award you with new tiles.- The games ending message has been written and added now.- After the final move of a match, you can now press escape to view the board before moving on.- I had to change the way the game keeps track of unlocked tiles, so anyone who had saved the game before this version will lose any tiles they had gained.

I pretty much posted the game and went directly to bed.Thanks Stefan, I agree that strategic thinking games are a nice change away from the action shooters.Smoothgunner, yes my hope is to have this multiplayer so that players can duel against one another. That is a separate project in itself, which I am hoping to do as soon as I finish up a 3rd small game Ive been working on this past week.Yujin, currently you receive 1 of the enemys tiles after you defeat it. The one you get is random, but the odds are based on the rarity of the tile. So for example, if the enemy has 1 rarity 1 tile and 1 rarity 2 tile, you have a higher chance of getting the rarity 1 tile when the game steals one.Ah yes, that dreaded Plus rule. That thing is not easy to explain, short of an actual ventrilo voice conversation, haha! That reminds me, I do apologize for this game not ha
 ving a readme.txt file, and for having really crappy instructions. I didnt really polish this game up at all before sending it out to be played.Now for the Plus rule. Keep in mind that the rules for this triple triad game were not of my own design, so I can only guess that the Plus rule was put into the game so that a well placed weaker tile can capture stronger tiles. Lets pretend that you are about to drop a tile that will have an enemy tile above it, and one to the right. Facing up, your attack power is 2 and the attack power of that enemy is 3, so you are too weak to capture it. On the right your attack power is 1 and the enemys is 4, so you are too weak to capture that either. The Plus rule looks at both of those battles (above and to the right) and adds up the attacks of each tile. On the top the numbers were 2 and 3, which add to 5. On the right the numbers were 1 and 4, also adding to 5. Because both si
 des added up to the same number, both of those enemy tiles are captured using the Plus rule. If there had been 3 enemy tiles within range, then the attack numbers of all 3 sides would have needed to be equal in order to win using the Plus rule. Thats of course much harder than just making it work with 2 enemy tiles. Also yes, in theory you could have 4 enemy tiles, you could place 1 tile in the center and manage to capture all 4 with the Plus rule.I hope that helped a little. If anyone else understands how the rule works, maybe they have a better way to explain it.KeyIsFull, Im also struggling to plan ahead. I could do that, yes. I have also notesed that if I try to open the game and it sais that its damadgd and I then start a new game, it Will open the saved game I first wanted to play. So ... it seams I can open saved games, yay! I saw it before, just didnt pay to much atention to it. In 1 saved game I started with 17 building material. I selected 2 people to impruve the camp (-8 building material), others did their own tasks. Nexg day, I had 25 building material in sted of 9.In other game I didnt impruve the camp, and when I ended my turn, I still had 17 building material.I hope I wrote it somehow understandable. I also put saved games in there, and put the number of building material on first and second day in the name.

a small load question for the vipmud scripting language

Hello all,As i have mansioned in the general game discussions, am i currently building a reproduction of the star conquest soundpack for vipmud, but this soundpack is for 64 bits machiens.But i have a little question regarding a script loading other scripts.What is the syntax for this? can i please get an example?I saw some otehr scripts doing something like:#load missions.setBut for one or another reason i cant get that to work myself.Help will be appreciated.Greetz mike

Hello.I think I could try implementing it in Python too.The thing with Python is that I cant get a pan system like BGT workingin Pygame, and OpenAL seems very advanced to me.I think someone posted a script to convert BGT pan values to Pygame onesbut I couldnt find it.Anyways, if someone knows the formulas Ill be very grateful, because I triedvarious ways of doing it but they failed.

Thanks for the shortcuts. I think the rules of the game is relatively easy to program, but coding an AI is a hard work even if its not so sophisticated.Btw, could you add following keystrokes which will make calculations for the plus rule easier?S:speaks the left attack for the selected tileF:Speaks the right attack for the selected tileD and E work respectively.Edit: Ive edited the keystrokes. SFED is better than JLIK because you can press the commands using your left hand, with your right hand placed on the arrow keys.

Alan, letting people customize their cards and decks is a great idea! I didnt go in that direction, and I wouldnt want to change things around on mine to have it work that way, so there are definitely going to be people who want to use your version.The simplest way to do the AI would to be to check each next move it can make. Loop through each available spot on the grid, and have it place each card it has one at a time. At the end of each simulated move, check what score it would have earned from that move. Once it has finished this loop, it should have a list of all possible moves it can make, and how many points it will earn from each. Then based on difficulty settings, you can have it choose the best move all the way down to a terrible move. I hope that makes at least some sense, haha. Im not sure Im explaining that in the best way.

ADRIFT 5 has a load of new features, including the ability to bundle your gane and all its resources in a blorb file. Also ADRIFT uses a standard library for all of its system-specific things, like tasks, characters, events et cetera.

Just a note, when this game was coded, it requires that srlib be located in c:\mtg, so just simply run srlib.exe in this package and you will have speech.

Hey everybody! Just released version 1.2 of Sol which includes an experimental implementation of audiovideo mode, which pretty much turns it into an audiogame. Its far from perfect yet, but its better than nothing and I would like to have feedback  Converting a full blown platformer into an audiogame isnt easy, especially when it wasnt designed for it in the first place! Im oficially the most famus newbie helper, yaaay!... jokes aside, heres the anser:You can, of corse ask someone to give you cumpas, but you can also make it yourself. Combine metal (you can get that in the camp site, by jumping on the fence and picking it up with your hands) and leaves. You have now a direction finder. Then combine deeped bowl with water. Then combine direction finder with filled deeped bowl. Then all you need is 1 more deeped bowl, and you are done.I hope this helped.

@Aprone, I actually do rather like this game, though pawprints is something of a monster it is true . Ive got to the third opponent thus far and the plus rule hasnt triggered as yet but I do think I can see how it works from the explanation. What I do like in this game is the instant stratogy, the game is very easy to understand and comprehend all the factors, which actually is quite different from pawprints, much as I do rather like pawprints as well.I also like the idea of expanding with more tyles and opponents in the future, as sinse the values in the game are simply numeric you can just continue to add as many higher level tyles as you want.

So yeah, something horrible almost happened in a large Pokemon tournament over the weekend. Warning, language - I do quote their facebook posts.http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/23/us/pokemo … s-threats/Two Iowa men are facing firearm charges after authorities found weapons and ammunition in their vehicle following social media threats made to attendees of the Pokémon World Championships held in Boston, police said Sunday.Kevin Norton, 18, and James Stumbo, 27, both of Iowa, were arrested on Saturday and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and other firearm related charges, according to a Boston Police Department news release.No nexus to terrorism has been revealed, but the investigation is ongoing, Officer Rachel McGuire of Boston Police Department said.The BPD detectives did a great job in the stop and prevention of a potential tragedy, said Superintendent Paul Fitzgerald, Bureau of Intelligence and Analysis commander.On Thursday, authorities of the Boston Regional Intelligence Center were informed of threats made over social media to the participants of the Pokemon event being held at the Hynes Convention CenterNorton and Stumbo were stopped trying to enter the event on Thursday, Boston police said. According to its website, the players attending the invitation-only event vied for $500,000 in scholarship awards, with the overall winner taking a $10,000 scholarship.Norton and Stumbo were detained and escorted off the premises.Informed that the suspects drove from Iowa and were in possession of firearms, detectives asked the pair to provide license to carry. The duo did not.They were released but their vehicle was seized, police said.On Friday, detectives executed a warrant on the vehicle and found one 12-gauge Remington shotgun, one DPMS Model AR-15 rifle, several hundred rounds of ammunition and a hunting knife.Police arrested the individuals at a Saugus, Massachusetts, hotel early Saturday. Thank Dark and smoothguner.Dark youre definitely right, this can be expanded very easily. The game already has code for a different game mode, but I havent sat down yet to balance it out. Basically each new rule set brings in even more ways to play, plus makes you look at your tiles differently when assembling your deck before a battle.Smoothgunner, I think for many of the tiles I can just grab sounds from my other games. Well many of these things didnt have sounds, now that I think about it. Oh well, at least I can get the ball rolling by grabbing the associated sounds from my other games.I really did enjoy grabbing characters from my other games to serve as the tiles. Hopefully it takes some players down memory lane, to games they played years ago.

I did rather like the reappearence of the bores etc, and I like how theyre given a collection that they belong to so anyone who wonders what game they came from can always go and find out. Also glad to know that my defeats werent on easiest level .My only miner comment is itd be nice if there were better ways of viewing your tyles in the deck menu, for example having your tyles 1-5 at the top, then the others sorted by rarity rather than having to look through the hole menu to find tyles 1-5. Indeed itd probably be better to first select a tyle and hit say shift and a number to assign a slot than have to hit enter on a tyle and have them reassigned, sinse I did have some weerd swapping moments. It might also be rather nice to have some sort of revelation style notification of how many tyles of each collection you have. 
 Lastly, if you can win additional copies of the same tyle, itd be nice to put some use to them? For example, say there was a series of tougher opponents who would guarantee! a rare tyle if you won, but you had to steak several common tyles as an entry fee to battle them, say 5 common to one rare. It also might be fun if the story got a bit more crazy and anime like, sinse everyone knows a card battle isnt a card battle if their arent exploding monsters, aliens, and girls with cat ears, plus cloaked villains who want to take over the world .

Dark Im not really a fan of the current deck configuration menu either. I did get a bit lost though when you suggested selecting a tile and then pressing the number to assign it to that slot. Thats how the game is supposed to do it now. Ill have to double check on that.The testing team and I were tossing around the idea of losing tiles when you are defeated by a computer opponent, but Im not sure if that will be too hard. I think the last possibility we tossed around was that youd lose tiles only on the hardest difficulty modes.I have it where you can only own 1 of each tile type, but a wager system where you risk more than 1 tile is a neat idea.The story doesnt quite that that twist, but its because I wanted to paint the picture of your character as he makes his way around the place. He is one of those nerds who is so involved in his own fantasy, that he is an insensitive jerk to everyone
  he is around. It was quite a bit of fun to write.

Ive encountered this glitch before, but I believe I may have pinpointed the positions this affects. The Pokémon in the fifth slot is the one thats supposed to learn the move, and the Pokémon in the sixth slot is the one that actually learns it—even if said slot has an egg in it. This hasnt happened to me often enough to be really bothersome and I save so regularly that I could simply close the game, reopen it, move the important mon up the list and go from there. I usually keep the Pokémon Im training at the time near the top of the list anyways.

Thanks for the tip, Imaginatrix. This really helps a lot since I tried testing it with no results.Just to let everyone know I also completely revamped how the D key works. Instead of having a long string to listen to, its a menu, it keeps track of the position when you close it, and it has the coordinates of your character and the distance from your character to the object selected for easy reference as well. It works really nicely and I think that you guys will be impressed with it.In terms of the world map I just chugged through routes 19 and 20, which are surfing routes. Im going to do the other surfing routes and then work on Cinnabar Island. Its kind of crazy to think Im this close to finishing Kanto.

I personally dislike the lack of distinction between blind and legally blind simply because it only serves to muddy the waters of understanding between individuals who wish to discuss and assist in accessibility fields, amongst other things.Nonetheless, Im not saying its not an interesting project.

Thanks for the tip, Imaginatrix. This really helps a lot since I tried testing it with no results.Just to let everyone know I also completely revamped how the D key works. Instead of having a long string to listen to, its a menu which contains specific destinations that are easy to scroll through, it keeps track of the position when you close it, and it has the coordinates of your character and the distance from your character to the object selected for easy reference as well. It works really nicely and I think that you guys will be impressed with it.In terms of the world map I just chugged through routes 19 and 20, which are surfing routes. Im going to do the other surfing routes and then work on Cinnabar Island. Its kind of crazy to think Im this close to finishing Kanto.

Ive finally! got time to try this and pawprints, which is great, however I am getting a very annoying error: Project1Component MSWINSCK.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalidOKI do recall getting something of this error before (I believe it was with castaways), and the way to solve it was just running one of Aprones other games but I dont remember which.This laptop hasnt had any of aprones games run on it thus far, so its possible a component is missing somewhere along the line.

Im surprised Square Soft havent released those minny games as some sort of collection.Not that wed be able to play them.Another popular Minny game was Blitsball from FF XFinal Fantasy has quite a few minny games that unfortunately we cant play.I think 7 was the more popular one with what they called the Gold Saucer.Chocobo Racing is the only game that I know of that was actually released separately.

@BradYeah I told him in the beginning. He went for an android device. To be honest not that I love apple but its better than android in terms of accessibility. Android is improved so much comparing to when you tried it, but still iPhone shoots at this point.

Hi Aprone,It is a nice game to play. Is it that I only get one of the tiles the enemy is using after winning, or it is chosen randomly among the list of all available tiles in the game? One mor thing, I am still trying to figure out the capturing of enemy tiles with the plus rule. It is quite unsatisfied when I place the final tile, while thinking there is no hope of winning, when I triggered the plus rule and earn enough score to actually win the battle.Anyway, thanks for the great game from you.

Hi.Ive figured out that it is possible to jump on the robots, you have to have good timing and good listening skills but it can be done. Im not sure how to get powerups though. Oh and if you pres right and hold then press left arrow, Soul skids, at least thats what it sounds like to me.

Hay, I think I found a bug.The passanger boat will start even when the key is not inserted, but the ribb requires the key to be in to start it.also, when I drop the anker then raise it, the passanger boat engine sound goes away.The boat still works, and the starting sound still plays, but the main engine sounds dont.

Hmm, I had this before, It was the realtek thing, and it was with a previous computer, and every time you plug something in, it pops up a little thing, I dont think you can configure it through the windows sound settings, but through the realtek, which, honestly should have replaced it. There was stuff you had to do. I dont really remember, you might need to get someone to do it for you.

Hello,So I am thinking about the simple online game development. As the matter of fact, I need the ideas to think about. I would love to make a shooting online game, but I dont have a whole idea, so suggestions are welcomed.Also I would like to ask about the sounds, where can I get the free sounds for my free online game or how can I make them myself? May be someone knows a program where I would be able to create them?Cause of the sounds are exactly the thing that stops me from doing something related with Audio Games, I am not sure if I will make something, but I am thinking about that and may be it will comes true, who knows...Futhermore, this idea might not be only a shooting game, it might be something else, may be someone offers an idea that would be fun to transform into the code hahaha.Also I consider about just a text-based online game, therefore is not need to make a sounds this way, but I dont know if someone would be inter

Hi.This is amazing!Ive tried it and died lodes and lodes of times. I think it could do with quite a bit of improvement but its amazing that someone who is not with audiogames.net has tried to make their games accessible to someone who cant see. so Id like to say thank you so so so much for including us.Things I think could be added to help:1. A learn sounds menu.2. A tutorial of sorts, sure it might be obvious to a sighted person to jump over a gap if they see it but if we dont know what a gap sound is then the tutorial would help.3. Please make it so you can turn the music down or up using page up or page down. Page up to turn the music up and page down to turn it down. We can go into the options menu but the music might be to loud for someone to hear what the screen reader is saying.Once again, thank you so so much. As soon as I feel this game is playable 100% I will be buying it.
