Hi.Here is how to delete a game:When the game is selected, press tryangle, and then delete is the 4th option, so press down three times and press x. You'll then need to confirm that you wanna delete the game. I don't remember if yes is selected, but you'll figure that out pretty quickly.

Life skills being failed by the tasc test and common core

Over the past week I went to take the test to get my GED. When I took the test it was hard very hard. The new test is called the TASC test. Half of the stuff on the test I didn't even learn in high school, I was life skills. So the question is the education system failing the special needs kids and making it harder for them to get decent work in the world? Note: The test is based off of common core standards.

For the conveyor, one way might be to use a slide volume setting to illustrate the direction the conveyor is moving? For example in this recording, the engine sound starts at full volume and decreases gradually to half before reseting back to full volume, which can indicate a conveyor moving to the right. The sound then flips, starting at half volume and gradually increases to full before reseting to half again, which can represent moving left. This way, you can still use pitch for up/down while using the volume slide to indicate direction.

Moderation! I altered the subject of this topic to be a bit more informative to people as to what your looking for. As to  games like world of legends, well your in luck. First off is the wastes, (see the huge topic in new releases). you can Download directly here or find the game's homepage here The game is still being worked on and more things are being added. then if you go to the database there are the games westfront, kerkerkruip, wumpus 2000 and trials of a slavers kingdom. These aren't exactly like world of legends sinse you need to run them with an interactive fiction interpreter like filfre or winfrotz or wintads, but they are rpgs with combat, monsters to fight, items and tactics etc. Kerkerkruip I'd particularly recommend, though it is a rather hard game. This is all sounding awesome. I like the idea of you being able to have a town as your home and get a house, then go out into the wastes on expeditions and then come back. If houses are to be a thing in the game, especially different sorts, how about having furniture and such for your house of various qualities. For example a better quality bed would provide more hp when resting, sinse it's more comfortable on a feather bed or a foam matress than a heap of straw or a ragged blanket. Those dumbells and weights of different quality could be used to train, as could exercise machines and such. Library shelves could hold books etc, and of course.Another use for furniture would be changing the way certain  npcs think of you, eg if you've got a house full of valuable items with platinum statues and such rich people will probably respect you more. The same could go for employing servants or owning slaves in your house as well, both for status and fo
 r some bennifits, eg preparing food for meals which restore hp or give other bennifits, maybe providing potions or having skills that you could learn from them, (provided you treated your slaves or servants well enough for them to want to teach you anything). I also do wonder about how regions will interact with towns, in particular how you'll be able to return to a town if your off exploring in the wastes, this might be an area where vehicles, (which is something I know has been proposed), could come in handy. You mention that npcs will have different moral standards. Wellit might be nice to have some sort of alignment type stat that changes how you are regarded, I don't mean in terms of charisma, (after all both martin Lutha King and Adulf Hitler were very charismatic), but whether you've got a reputation for being a good or bad person. I would also suggest (though this perhaps is a more miner update that could be included later on), that the ge
 nerations of the graveyard files be tweaked a bit to include what quests you performed, what you owned, whether you were over all good or evil, etc, indeed I've actually wondered sinse the inventory was added if the inventory of the player should be included too, just as a record of what sort of guff you were lugging around .

I completely refuseto do that, I'm being stubborn here.Here, the keyword is resolution: hearing and seeing are different senses, each one useful for a different kind of situations, and hearing has evolved to bring mankind the resolution their ears cannot. Sight offers much more positional location information, so, I fear you cannot create the same experience using only audio. In the best case, with an excellent sound cue representation, you would design a very complex game which, compared to an equivalent videogame, would take much more efford to master.Ok, you'd design a fully accessible Sonic 3 experience, 
 but a player would need 3 months to master their skills for the level 12, while a sightted kid could do it in a couple of days.And here is another "philosophical" question: why? I'm not wondering "why is it much harder"? It's much harder  cause seeing is specially useful to collect information about what's around you; but a second reason is simple: you are translating, and any translation sacrifices information. A videogame is primarily a video based game, and a platformer is a great example of that. You can add a lot of extra helpers to make it easier to navigate and use, but it's nothing but an  addition, on the backend, you are creating a videogame which includes helpers.Audiogames have a short history, and there are only a few complex tittles, basically, we haven't experimented enougth to create our own formulas and we try to make versions of our favorite videogames for the blind.How is a game designed fr
 om the scratch to act like a platformer using only audio? I have no idea (not sure if it is doable), but in my opinion there are two ways:1. Simplify a regular visual platformer to make it easy to translate to audio.or 2: try new aproaches, even aproaches that aren't realistic at all (mario or sonic play in a world that is visually entertaining, but it's not realistic at all). I've noticed that if your creating an account for the first time on a server, what you have to do is the following:1. Launch ultrapower.2. Enter server details or find it in the list.3.  t feared/loved which say started at zero meaning nothing, and with plus points you were loved, with minus points you were feared, so a brutal dictator or a crime boss would be down at minus 50 or whatever, where as a heroic person would be up in the plus range.Town reputation sounds like a good idea, but there is also a sense of over all reputation in the world too, after all there are lots of brutal nasty dictators with fanatical followers who adore them, and likewise at least a few examples of leaders who do good things for their people but who are over all resented, indeed  you could consider some sort of propergander system later whereby you could persuade the people of your town to follow you irrispective of whether the rest of the world thought you were an angel of utter loveliness or a complete douchedevil.

Aprone, another great game here! I do like your strategy games, they're always interesting. And this one... frustrating. Oh so frustrating. But I will win! My insistence on sticking to normal difficulty may be my undoing. Maybe I should just lose some pride and try it on easy. But not yet.I'm feeling like my new strategy is to go all nomad and charge forward out of the cold areas, not really sticking around. We'll see how that goes. For the relationships idea, maybe it might not all be a bad thing. Maybe it can give the people involved a daily dose onto their morale score, though only if their morale is below content or something like that. To simulate the support that our loved ones can give us in troubled times. As well as the loss if you lose one of them. Keep up the good work!

News uses RSS. In typical Apple fashion, you can subscribe to those feeds Apple has published in its store. Anybody can do this, thankfully, but it would've been nice if Apple had only made the News app completely open and allowed you to specify feed URLs. Later comes a dedicated Apple News format, which is supposedly a better reading experience, though by what means I know not.Worry about you first. You can worry about the Mac later.

A while ago, I thought about creating an empire game like OGame, but in a (realtime strategy) MUD/MOO format. With a space system similar to that of Star Conquest/Miriani, but as an empiror/empress, you would be giving orders most of the time, rather than directly flying ships. Orders like where to send your ships, What to do, etc.Maybe someone else will pick this idea up and do something cool with it.I had some other cool ideas. Will we be able to dig down into the bowels of the earth until we hit hell, and the associated near-immortal demons with it that would turn all regions into titan regions! Also, what about ships, and island exploring? Maybe, mutations that aren't immediately evident as to their affects (one that makes you undead when you die, so in affect you have a second chance at the game, but you can't gain any more mutations when you're undead), or heal yourself by eating stuff) or a mutation that negates the next mutation, regardless of whether or not it's benefitial, etc. also, can we have an extra limb (tentacle) mutation!

There are 2 directions in which a web developer could go.1. use existing HTML elements to present game info. These could be things like menus and dialogues.The other option is to do what those old flash games did and just make custom elements and whatnot.I am in the midst of making a black jack game exploring both of those elements.

You should have a News app, yeah. Check your region is either UK or US (unless, of course, you aren't in those regions). You could also change regions just long enough to set up, as there's an option to get news stories emailed to you.

Silly folder names, when you're sharing the SD card with other devices. And I confused $VRDTB with $VRText at some point when trying to read an ePub. Or is it $VROtherBooks? Hmm. I ended up reading the manual again.You're right, the cloud works best for small transfers, although I'm going all out and now use a NAS (network drive) at home, so soon USB really will be inconvenient.  Then again it's hard work setting this stuff up.  I do hope Apple will think about SD card slots in future, now they have a file system. Still, with iCloud Drive so accessible and inexpensive now, and with access being largely offline, you can certainly make things easier for yourself by housing some stuff in there that you need quick access to, like todo lists and so forth. But it's all over to you, really.As for the web, I plan to make another stab at iOSification and will soon have another opportunity to see what the web feels like, especially on iPad wh
 ere Apple have added lots of wonderful shortcuts to open new tabs, switch apps, and so on. I hope they bring them to iPhone though sadly they probably won't. Guys, I am not a developer at all, nor am I pretending to be. I've just offered up space to host and help test this core, and while at it, thought I'd open it up. I totally agree about the first post and wish I didn't have to write it that way, but I wanted to make things plain because A: I didn't want to have to deal with trouble makers and B: I wanted to do the best that I could to protect Centauri's work. So you won't get any arguement from me about that.Also, who I choose to ban is my business, and I laid out those rules so those who chose to pop in for a visit won't get banned. I don't enjoy banning people, but I'm taking a hard line against trouble makers. And I'm not saying that all of you are, the number is very few, but I will defend my server against those who want to just fool around, spam with multiple alts, etc. It's not hard not to get banned, just act like a normal person.I think this sums up thing

There are already plans for weights to increase strength, it was already in the old towns before they were revamped, also I won't have karma like fallout cause I find it impossibly intrusive, instead there are plans for town reputation, ie do good stuff and it goes up, do bad and it goes down, and graveyard files right now only contain what's available, they along with everything else will be tweaked to accomodate the updates so dont worry.

A videogame is primarily a video based game, and a platformer is a great example of that. You can add a lot of extra helpers to make it easier to navigate and use, but it's nothing but an  addition, on the backend, you are creating a videogame which includes helpers.Audiogames have a short history, and there are only a few complex tittles, basically, we haven't experimented enougth to create our own formulas and we try to make versions of our favorite videogames for the blind.How is a game designed fro
 m the scratch to act like a platformer using only audio? I have no idea (not sure if it is doable), but in my opinion there are two ways:1. Simplify a regular visual platformer to make it easy to translate to audio.or 2: try new aproaches, even aproaches that aren't realistic at all (mario or sonic play in a world that is visually entertaining, but it's not realistic at all). I'm not sure what you mean by "silly folder names" on the stream, sinse the folders all have sensible names, eg, other books, music, podcasts, notes, text, just with a dollar sign in front. The Usb transfer is actually so easy I often do it just for quick things, eg, when I was at aims music school for a week and was given unexpected stuff to do, I stuck specific tracks on my victor to listen to while I was wandering around, a process that probably took less than a minute, indeed that is one instance where a cloud system would've been inconvenient sinse the flats where I was staying didn't have a fast net connection and requested not too much downloading. It certainly is something that might have it's uses, especially with what you say about note taking and word processing on Ios, but I've largely given up on the idea of an Iphone as a device for listening to any media on. Thenn again if I do go with the mac thing I know there is a lot of 
 compatible transfer stuff between Mac and Ios anyway, indeed my brother regularly uses his Ipad as a note taking device and then transfers directly to the Mac.One thing I'd also be interested in with Ios 9 is whether web navigation with vo will improve. When my desktop when capput last month i tried to use this forum with my Iphone, but ran into various problems. Some were obvious like the problem of vo really not working with dropdown boxes and how even with the rotor navigation to find headings I was frequently doing a lot of flicking, but some were just plane buggy, for example I actually couldn't post on this forum with my Iphone because for some stupid reason it was impossible to click on the submit button even when I'd written a post, vo just made the click noise and nothing happened (when I rang Apple to talk about the mac, this is one thing we did test and the chap agreed with me it was a bug). Then again to be perfectly honest I confess my mind 
 just isn't on this sort of thing right now. I'll see what Ios 9 has going, but really it's hard to concentrate on much else besides,  well my lady at the moment, indeed one reason the mac thing is not as much an issue is the desk where I was going to put it I might need for her computer if we decide to live together in my flat.

Yes, I'm really looking forward to Towns because it'll add the Dwarf Fortress elements. It'll be like Dwarf Fortress adventure mode. I wish Dwarf Fortress was made in this kind of interface because then we'd be able to play it. DF is actually text based, just inaccessible to screen readers because of the Ascii map and user interface.

There are a couple of cores up and in use now, and we are working through the minor issues that show up, as I knew there would be some that people would find. In general, things are going very well, and pretty much everything works as expected.I do update a core_release number as things change, just for tracking, in addition to the fact that @version shows the core extract date all on its own.The test cores have made some space areas, and I have a small one for testing things like object passing and RPG.the global chat is working well between all instances, and object passing is coming along (this is a fairly new feature).

Glad to hear it @Sean-Terry01, it's the most ambitious project I've done yet but I hope it pays off, It's gonna be like a text based version of Fallout mixed with dwarf fortress mixed with mount and blade with a few other games thrown in there for good measure, I've played lots of good and bad games in my time and hope that what I've absorbed from games and modding will pay off if it hasn't already

I've generally stayed away from adding anything unrelated to towns so the only things that have been changed aside from those are the bug in dungeons with loot not disapearing when you take it and the randomly named weapons now having an extra 5175 new names!In regard to the town development I have been working pretty hard on getting it all planned out and having the groundworks functioning well. Since I've started I've only had three days of coding it and this is the third! here's what I've done thus far**DAY 1**The first day of town development had me go through about a notebook worth of paper planning out how it was going to go and what I would need, from buildings to npcs to factions, I got my rough outlining done but it took a hell of a lot of time to plan out the interactions and what I would need.**DAY 2**Day two was naming day, I'd done the first few parts like town names, town population and a few other minor 
 things but it was here I decided towns were going to have individual npcs instead of just a number, so the whole of the second day was spent expanding and creating the name generator, now the old npc name generator is scrapped, the new one is huge and moddable so players can add their own names and surnames if they can't find it on the list.It took me ages because I added almost every single welsh, scottish, english and irish Male names, female names and last names, there are now over 1000 last names and hundreds of first names... what a long day that was.**DAY 3**Day three was finishing the mutant name generator, because there will be towns of both mutants and humans, so you might be roaming the world as a mutant being rejected by all the towns you pass until you find a huge mutant town, how great that will be! There are now 19200 possible mutant names too so!Aside from that I worked on town defenses such as walls hills and gates, town morality 
 and it's randomly chosen laws before working on generated npcs stats such as strength, intelligence, agility, charisma, luck, hp, personality, opinion of the player, opinion of the town, opinion of the opposite race (mutant/human).There are currently 15 personalities, such as Happy, Grumpy, Entrepreneur, Powerhound, Shy, Schizophrenic, Loyal, Racist, Patriot, Anarchist ect, that will all effect the way they live, deal with the player and react to events! For example entrepreneurs are always looking to make money, they will always trade with the player, will often try to acquire stock and if possible will buy and run their own businesses, the more unscrupulous of them may even try and steal to get rich enlisting the help of the player in quests of the sort! **WHAT'S NEXT?**I'm working on having buildings generated based on population, so "Jon's wares" won't be a random name, it will be called such because it's owner is Jon 
 Allen and if you kill him, his shop shuts down and is available for purchase, if of course another entrepreneur doesn't get there first, each npc will have an assigned home, some will live in shacks, some will live in bunkhouses or hotels and some will have manors based on wealth of course, faction members will stay in faction accomodation to some extent and all the rest will be homeless, you can make npcs homeless by making them too poor to afford to pay their taxes or by destroying their home while there's no other place to live, homeless npcs may collect scrap and attempt to build their own shanty house!right now I have to finish all of the npc generation stuff including their jobs, wealth, homes ect but to do so will require me to have something that picks what kind of industry the town has, ie farming town will have lots of farms and farmers, merchant town will have lots of merchants ect!I also have to code npc dialogue, it's going to be as dynamic 
 as possible, with npcs talking to you based on their personality, wealth, morality and opinion of you so most dialogue will be vastly different by different npcs, the plan is you can beg them, bribe them, trade with them, ask their opinion of various things, ask for advice or rumors, ask to join their faction, ask them to join yours, ask for quests ect.Which brings me on to random quests... this will be done through a thing called quest pools, npcs will have access to different quest pools that they hit the criteria of, a wealth mutant merchant will have access to: Mutant Quests / Wealthy Quests and Merchant Quests, then inside the quest pool some quests wont be available, ie if the merchant is a good person he won't offer you quests such as killing or sabotaging the competition, also if he has no opinion of you and barely knows you, he probably won't trust you with running his shop while he takes time off or handling his money while he claims bankruptcy.Then

As far as your question about games that require you to unload Jaws to play them, that would be most older titles. Some that come to mind are the Kitchensinc games, Grizzly Gulch, the BSC titles, etc. I encountered this issue in newer titles, too, like Bloodshed and Battle Zone.It has nothing to do with verbosity, and everything to do with the keyhook that Jaws has, and NVDA does not.
