According to the documentation audio quake is a mod of an existing quake install, what this means is if you only have the shareware version of quake installed, that's all you'll be able to play. While the source code for the engine is open sourced, the content, level packs, models, etc. is not. There are a few copies floating around but you can buy it off steam or gog.com. Re: Resident evil 6 guide/walkthrough exactly, mercenaries mode is where you run around killing things, it is something like:choose a character, choose a stage, then battle. But wait, the character and stages need some explanation.initially, you have 3 characters to choose, but as you play and get good ranks, you unlock new characters, new stages, and the second variation of each character.each character has a different equipment, and the second variation of the same character also has different items and weaponrry.example: leon has a pistol, a shotgun, 4 remote bombs and 8 healing tablets.chris has a knife, an assault rifle, a magnum, some flash grenades i think, but no healing items!jake has hand to hand, a pistol, a sniper rifle, and 3 or 4 healing tablets.but the second variation of each character has different equipment tan the first one.the enemies drop ammo and items of course, more if you buy and equip the item drop increase skill.stages.initiall y, you have 3 of the 10 stages of the mode, and you need to get a good Rank on all 3 stages to unlock the 4th. a good Rank on the 4th to unlock the next, and so on.in each stage, different enemies and bosses will appear, for that reason is important to unlock all stages, to fight all posible enemies.your objective in the mercenaries is to kill 150 enemies. if you win, that's great, you unlock a reward. if you die, you get nothing.in the mercenaries: no mercy, your goal is to kill 400 enemies! and they fill the screen very quickly!.In mercenaries no mercy, enemies drop items more frequently of course.finally, in no mercy, there are several guest characters, from the game left 4 dead, and some enemies of that series too. Need help with BGT
Need help with BGT Hi there,I have a question. What would be the best way to go about programming the death of an enemy in an action game, or side scroler, using BGT? I have the basics of the object oriented stuff down, and I have created my enemy class for the game I'm working on, but I'm stumped on how to basically tell the engine that once the player has shot to enemy to register their death. I'm thinking about creating an array with my enemy class, and every time one is killed, resizing it appropriately. Is this the best way to go, or is there something simpler I could do? Re: VGStorm Presents Manamon, a new fully featured RPG! For the sake of completion, here is the order of the manamon the person asks for on the mutmo quest. Why you can't just get this all in one list is something of a mystery to me but there it is. I think this might be listed in a post much, much earlier in the thread, but here it is again for anyone looking to complete their manapedia or to try something new.Spoilers or somethingThis will hopefully save some people a little bit of running back and forth storing and retrieving manamon just to get what they need.murkit, lavalan, zintrabat, feefeye, jiminar, embird, autoson, drabao, erroir, pandourbitAgain, for the sake of less running around to store and retrieve manamon, you'll want the mutmo with you, plus 2 free slots. breed the mutmo twice. You should have three now. Use a smoke element on one, a star element on one, and a soulless heartstone on the last one you have left. The order in which you use the transformation items here doesn't m atter. That's how you turn one caught manamon into four. Re: Batman: Telltale Games For PC and console there are timed conversation choices and quick time events some of which require limited free form aiming, using a guide and a bit of practice it may be workable. The open exploration areas can potentially be bad though, a lot of them are circular and enclosed requiring you to find key points and press, say, X to continue or make choices. Most of those could be handled with a bit of trial and error, but crime scenes later on require you to find and connect multiples of two points of interest too, come up with plans of attack which can effect later quick time events, or even pan across the screen for needle in a haystack style clue hunting. There isn't any real time limit on those open sections though so it may be at most tedious. The IOS version doesn't look a whole lot different, although instead of pressing a button you have to find and press a specific generic button on the screen for quick time events. Moving around in the open sections invo lves tapping the screen to move around, then tap on specific points to interact with them. There are no audio cues when buttons appear or are pressed either, so listening for specific sounds during quick time events would be your best bet, with trial and error for the rest. As hanif suggested, going with the console version is probably better because you just have to press buttons on a controller instead of hunting for them, and console seems to be much more forgiving with the proximity of your cursor to key points than PC, cutting down a lot on rampant click hunting. Re: Braille Note Touch
Re: Braille Note Touch Yes, it is. It's like the terminal emulato rapp that comes with some custom rom.s Also, you have the system patrition, data, cache, and a recovery partition. Four partitions. This is on with it on the mac. The stuff inside data looks like it's hidden but that's probably finder just being finder. It shouldn't be hidden. But the system apps are visible, so you can see all the apps. Even mainmenu is an app, because remember, Android is modular, so everything's an app. Keysoft being a modified Talkback package at the heart isn't necessarily a bad thing. For the record, Touchbraille goes way beyond the accessibility api, so does first letter navigation in lists. The thing with an already existing screen reader that is pretty solid on Android itself, is that it can be built on pretty easily, and even more so when you have Google collaborating. A light hiss of static. An acoustic guitar picking up the same theme as before is quickly joined by a ticking clock. Bokurano Daiboukenn and its two sequels, some of the best examples of these, are free Japanese side-scrolling action RPGs in the style ofMetroid or Castlevania, focused on exploring worlds, collecting powerups, and defeating enemies, all through sound. https://killscreen.com/articles/real-so … ry-gaming/

Re: Bosskey accessibility questionnaire Crashmaster - the reason for that is because it is a general accessibility survey, they want to know about all kinds of disability. So examples of specialised software would be speech to text software, a screenreader, or an on-screen keyboard that you operate using a mouse. Examples of specialised hardware would be an eye tracker, a one handed controller, or a vibration vest. Re: PCS DOS games now on Audio Games Archive
Re: PCS DOS games now on Audio Games Archive Hi.Well, if you want to play games with the talking dosbox, you first copy the games folder to the c drive folder in the dosbox folder, a better way would be that you put it under the games foldar which is already there.so, when you start dosbox and activated your screen reader you type.cd..\games\xxx, the xxx is standing for the games folder, for examplecd..\games\football for the any night football, I renamed the folder so I don't need to write that much. When you have entered the folder you typefb.exe, to run the game, and than you are already in. Re: Playing Entombed
Re: Playing Entombed Well jason added to the game constantly for three years, then in 2010, with a new job and two new children he had to put development aside. Combine this with the fact that the game code, due to so much being added aparently grew quite eclectic and it's likely entombed is pretty complete, though the game is certainly far from being an early version and highly playable, it's just that extra functions such as scripting to create custom content or fundamental changes in the game's system weren't possible with the existing code.Whether Jason will do a final bugfix I don't know, but in the mean time we still have an awesome game either way, even if one that didn't get all the planned expantions. More recently (as of last year in fact), Jason returned to development and started work on Entombed ii. There were some very very very! early alphas which experimented with things like a ranking system and a different style of exploration whi ch would more easily make for things like environmental hazards and avoidable fights, and development was promising, but where things are now I'm not sure, still I have a lot of faith in Jason and am sure we've not heard the last of things, though more likely with entombed Ii at this point. Even with original entombed, back in 2007 the initial alpha was nothing to write home about, then around a year later boom! suddenly a major game with huge amounts of content hove out of the blue. Re: Becoming fed up with Linux
Re: Becoming fed up with Linux Hi, I use NVDA sometimes and it does announce these features you mention. However, NVDA performs slowly on Microsoft Word, or not as fast as JAWS does, so I avoid using it. I should be honest that I tried two times with all my seriousness to switch to NVDA, but it didn't work till the end of my experience with it, and I went back again to JAWS.The reason, in fact, why I stick with JAWS is its integration with Office products, especially Microsoft word which I use a lot. When reading long documents NVDA starts lagging, and that's when I get disappointed and press insert+Q.Now that I'm at university, I have to work with long books which usually reach 400 pages, but NVDA does not satisfy me with its performance. It really needs a bit of work to enhance integration with Microsoft Word and some other programs. Re: Playing Entombed the 2.0 alpha is actually entombed Ii I believe and is a very short concept demo. the 1.5 test is I think the version that Jason tried rejigging the architecture, but also fixed several bugs, so while it was largely less stable and didn't run on most machines it did have that fix for the stat restore with shamans and ratkin, I probably ought to test it myself since I do need to reinstall the game on this computer.Generally you are best off with the 1.02K release as it is the most stable and the only really major bug is the problem with ratkin and shaman, which were the last two things added to the game in 2010, indeed you can play shaman quite successfully so long as you don't use their phase form ability.Btw, to upgrade to 1.02K use the update patch from the entombed update site, Download it here indeed that version might even have the ratkin fix in it's been a long time si nce I read the release notes). Re: Becoming fed up with Linux
Re: Becoming fed up with Linux Well, I don't know what version of NVDA you last tried to use, but it definitely can announce this kind of things. Yes, it does have to be turned on (or off in a few cases, respectively), but I personally see that as an advantage. I wouldn't like to be cluttered by all the possible formatting info being announced all at once by default. It does tell you when you start or stop typing in italics and bolt respectively, and when reading and browsing the text, it can either announce the formatting changes automatically if configured to do so, which might cause some lag which is either more or less prominent depending on your system, etc, or the announcement can be triggered manually with the designated keystroe at the exact moment when it's convenient to you.Lukas URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=280734#p280734 ___ Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector

Re: Batman: Telltale Games As for tale tale games, I'm wondering if they added accessibility for another one of their games game of thrones. Re: Accessible Electronic Keyboards & Synths
Re: Accessible Electronic Keyboards & Synths The Yamahas you mentioned are good options. Not sure about the Juno you mentioned, but I've had some experience with the Juno DS. From What I could tell, it seems to be a stripped down FA aimed more toward performance as opposed to a self contained workstation like the FA's and the 61 key model runs around $700. The Casio Privias are also decent and there are a few in your price range, though the organs on them aren't the best. I think an excellent option for you might be something like the Roland VR09. It's built as a combo organ with a separate sound set for bread and butter patches like piano, electric pianos, and synths, while having a dedicated tonewheel organ section with overdrive and rotary effects and physical drawbars and waterfall keys similar to those on an actual organ. They run around $900 new I think, but I'm sure you could find one for less used if you do some digging. Good luck and keep us posted on what you choose! Re: Survive the Wild!
Re: Survive the Wild! Hi.I read the word "suggestions". So here I am, randomly popping in, and haven't played the game for very, very long time, so I'm not sure if this has been added yet. What about making a quest where a random player get in trouble and you need to save the players life, or help the player out of the trouble. Players should agree to join those quests. I think that would make some great player interaction, and make people play together. The reward for completing those quests should be so great so players really wanna take the risc. Re: Playing Entombed @Figment: Healing spells can actually be directed to a given body part the same way an offensive spell would be, but it seems the player can't direct it to a character's torso, whereas any non-playable character can do it. When a healing spell is not aimed to a specific body part it will heal all it can but not as efficiently.Though, I started another game on the 1.05B version, I may check if it was fixed. AS for the link to that version, I don't remember where I got it, but I believe it was by searching on this forum. Re: VGStorm Presents Manamon, a new fully featured RPG!
Re: VGStorm Presents Manamon, a new fully featured RPG! Hi.So I'm finally on my way to the master statium. I'm trying to play online with a friend, but we can't connect to each other. We have both opened the ports on our routers. I have been the host earlier where everything worked fine. Any clue on what we can do? Re: Batman: Telltale Games
Re: Batman: Telltale Games Hi.On the IOS. the games does not seem to be accessible at all. Voiceover reads nothing at all, so you need to know where to press. The movement might be a challenge because you need to use a virtual joystick. I hope to get sighted assistance to check this out.I haven't given the new Badman game a try, but it seems to be simular to the other titles. The most difficult thing in those games is when you need to look around and interact with objects or people by the cursor. You need to do that on the consoles. I don't know how that works on IOS or on the pc though, and I can't find any information regarding this on forums etc. But if you figure out something I would love to hear about it.
