I think I need some additional clarification. there are 5 possible indicators. Am I correct in understanding that only 1 indicator will appear over the head of 1 player, but multiple players could be available to receive a pass so multiple indicators could be present at the same time? Also, another part of this idea would be to play the indicators in such a way that would indicate whether the pass receiver was left, in front of, or right of the passer?

Yeah. You just have to use NVDA + your arrow keys, or, Control NVDA + your arrows. And then, to get your mouse pointer to go on to the item, you must do shift NVDA M, to move your mouse pointer, and then, NVDA + [, to do a left mouse click, or, NVDA + ], to do a right mouse click.

Ok, to answer questions..First it isn't like star conquest.. Admins rarelly won't accept your submission. They just want you to really work to build a real character. Whentey deny a submission they always justify it.Second answer yes, the game sertainly is active.. There are a fair number of players in sertain hours of the day, times are variable really..And yes, the game is sertainly still being worked on.. Promized features include a matrix 2.0, among other things. JST THIS MORNING THERE WAS Asmall updated made to the game regarding 6mm ammo.ALSSO A LOT CHANGED CINCE YOU WERE LAST ON.. tHERE ARE A LOT OF NEW SYSTEMS NOW, NEW FACTIONS PLAYERS CAN JOIN LIKE THE ncpk..And finally people haven't been killing eachother that much latelly, due to a few old bies quitting the game.. All in all, things look really goodwe just need more players to liven things up.

Writing an article on playing roguelikes while visually-impaired

Hello! My name is Kent. I'm writing an article for Rock, Paper, Shotgun about playing roguelikes while blind or visually-impaired. A couple of weeks ago, I spoke with some developers on Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup about their crazy development process, and one mentioned that he'd been talking with a player about how to make Crawl more blind-accessible. I was really fascinated by this, and I've just talked with that player for a while on Skype.One think we talked about is how everyone approaches the problem of how to play a traditional roguelike that you can’t see differently. He plays using a screen-reader but not a braille display, and he uses auto-explore and ranged weapons to find his enemies. He doesn’t concern himself too much with level layout, since it’s difficult to process and imagine.I’ve heard a bit about Brogue sound, Entombed, and Kerkerkruip, which have been specifically developed to be accessible for visually-impaired players.I’ve also heard that some people have managed to play games like NetHack that don’t even have an auto-explore function. It’s hard for me to even wrap my head around how someone would do that!I’d love to hear from any of you about your experiences with roguelikes—what tools you use, what playstyle works for you, what you enjoy about them, anything like that. People still play this?I played this for the last time probably seven years ago. I played it for several years before that, until my character went out hard in a blaze of glory and exploding vehicles.I'm surprised to hear about it. It kind of seems dead these days, unless it's really picked up. I've been tempted to start playing it again for a while, but the list of characters on has been so short when I've checked that I'm not sure it's worth it for the player interaction, given that a lot of it is player-driven, even more so if you want the good stuff.Is it actively being worked on? Depending on your answers, I might actually come back, as long as Lewski behaves. There is a point when some characters who have been around since the beginning of Cybersphere need to die.

On iOS we will now be using native detection, meaning the phone itself will forward swipes etc to the game. On Android we want to go the same route, but have to implement this completely differently.

Firstly, hello people! Today, I'd like to tell you about this new moo. Its a cyber-punk themmed rp-enforced game which has been open cince 1994.Its codebase is very extencive. Bellow, I'll list some of its features as I've been playing it for almost 7 years..*Ability to become a decker and enter the matrix (hacker)*Ability to drive vehicles that have weapon emplacements on them. Ever wanted to shoot a missile from the launcher thats on the side of your car?Go a head*crime factions (Join the Mafia, Yakusa or Russian mafia)For those who don't know cyberpunk is a genrry of science fiction. Neuromancer, Hellmoo among other things are cyberpunk.Basically when you start the game you'll be put through a small intro tutorial that'll show you some of the games features..Then you have the choice to create our character in 3 ways:Basic: You get a few points to put into your character and you can just explore 
 the gameworldStandard: You get more points but you have to write a background, description and they have to be approved by the admins.advanced: Here the requirements are stricter, admins will expect more quality in your background and description.One thing: Unless you are in basic char-gen, it'll take a bit of time to create and get your haracter approved. The problem I'm currently trying to solve is game agnostic. 1-5 button icons appear on the screen, in any order, usually within several seconds of each other. The question is, how can I communicate this scenario to the user? The midi file is an attempt to explore differentiating between 1 to 5 tones - the catch being that I'm physically incapable of hearing many tones, so I can only assume the file is correct - unless someone tells me otherwise. I'm totally open to other ways of mocking this up, but I don't have the resources to prototype an actual game right now.

Well, I use a windows xp virtual machine to play it. I got an email from Frank, the creator of Eamon deluxe. Unfortunately he did not let me know if he was planning on upgrading the remaining adventures. However, he gave me a code we can use to play all adventures even though they are not upgraded to eamon deluxe  5.0. Here's how to do it:When you choose a set of adventures not upgraded to eamon deluxe 5.0, you will get a message saying the adventures are not compatible with eamon deluxe 5.0 VI mode and you will get two choices. Do nothing and exit. When you are on that screen, press the following letters one at a time and press enter after each lettersb o r tAfter that you will be on a menu where you can select those adventures. They are not converted, but they can be played just fine.

Talking DosBox both comes with and works with this natively. I was playing with it just the other day. It's not as easy to navigate as having a virtual windows XP machine to play on, but it does work. Basically you just need to download Talking DosBox, get asap working since it's the screen reader that responds the best in the emulator and load up the game.

Hmmm.You now bar the larger memmory sizes, 64 hasn't been embraced fully just yet.I think its good for apple to push for this, at some point, people will want to go beyond 4gb ram slots.Or to put it in another perspective most pcs are 64 bit and have 8gb ram unless you get the 4gb models.Here's the thing, 99.9% of all software on pc is still 32 bit though a few are 64 bit but not 64 bit exclusively.A lot of the blind programs, nvda, all our games especially the aging vb6 stuff is 32 bit.So if pcs were going that way we'd have to put a petition to stop them doing that because everything we have won't be able to migrate.What scares me is how much we still depend on the old x86 structure.x86 systems can support up to 4gb ram but thats it.No more, no less.We were happy to abandon 16 bit apps, dos, the old fat 2gb disk space, the newer fat32 disk alocations, though a lot of flash drives and such only suppor
 t up to 32 gb of space on fat and fat32 systems on a lot of the book players.Ntfs is faster but not all of that is switched.I do think that where it must start sadly is the smart phone sector.Back in the early days of sonnar's history we tried to release audiogame hub I think it was the first public as 64 bit but don't quote me on it.I found it wouldn't install or run on my 32 bit system.Still it made me think maybe I would upgrade just maybe it was a new era.But with complaints and the like we went back to 32 bit and dropped the 64 bit build.In my dad's work they had office and I was pushing for us to go 64 bit because we had a rated system with the extra ram and the os only to be told there was no advantage for us to upgrade to 64 bit at all.And maybe its just it.64 bit processers can handle 32 bit software.We are so comfortable in this reguard we think it will go for ever.And it may in deed do t
 hat for a while.However we all know we will eventually have to switch.The newest intel processers and tech will not run on anything older than win10 and ms keeps threatening to drop 32 bit windows.Weather they would be able to drop 32 bit support entirely is another thing.But the fact apple is doing it while really disruptive will clean them out.It will also show us users who is active and or not.More importantly it will stimulate others to go fully 64 bit.If apple does it then google will probably do that with android.And when that happens others will sit up and take a more active interest.I am unsure about pcs, but to be honest if ms dropped windows 32 bit I wouldn't care that much.The only disadvantage to 32-64 bit is that program sizes are just a lot bigger half as big.Example the windows update released this month was 500mb or round that for 32 bit, its double with 64 bit.Why is that the case?Als
 o while I know we do have lightspeed fibre, half speed vdsl, standard speed dsl, quarter speed wireless and the like a few still do use dialup or have poor quality connections.So who knows.Saying that I updated apps on our ios devices yesterday.several apps the smaller one the smallest was 5mb but they average round 60-80mb, with a mid range round 200-300mb, however I have seen a 500mb app and I think with computers and apps mirroring smartphones maybe someone has to move and say no more 32 bit and others will try to take notice.Its more complex for desktops but to be honest though it may disrupt me a great deal I see no problem with in long term.

First 64-bit phone was the iPhone 5S in late 2013. Apps should all be universal fat binaries (that is, have both architectures) by now. That they aren't speaks volumes ... regardless of how you feel about Apple dropping the 32-bit subsystem.

Hello,I'm wondering how I use headphones with the iBill Currency Reader? I heard that you need a 2.5mm adapter so I purchased a 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female adapter from Amazon. However, I'm not sure if I purchased the right item. I can't plug the 2.5mm end into the iBill. I thought there was a headphone jack on the shorter edge opposite the keyring, but the plug doesn't seem to fit. Did I buy the wrong adapter or am I missing the audio connector?

If most of these apps haven't been updated by now, I doubt they ever will. I may be wrong on that. After all, there are still about six months left before iOS 11 is released to the public. Didn't Apple send out notices to all registered developers who haven't updated their apps? What's the exact cutoff timeframe? I downloaded something which hasn't been updated since July 2015 and I didn't find it in the 32-bit app list. Is it somewhere in 2015 or 2014?

@31Just wanted to clarify that the only reason I haven't responded really is that I have no idea how the game works and so cannot even begin to figure out how to fit a workable set of options in for things like stick movement etc for accessibility, even if these might translate into other games.If something like Mass Effect had been mentioned, that might've possibly been easier, though I can't be sure.Not to say that your work is not commendable, that it very much is.  Just apologising for a lack of contributions and looking forward to being able to help with games that I actually know something about, not being anywhere near a culture that holds a devout following for American Football or any kind of following at all for that matter.I continue to wish you luck in recruiting individuals to try and solve this problem and will help as and when I can with other games as they come up.

I got a 77 on the test with no study, just on my general working knowledge. I feel some of the questions have to do with general computer use and not NVDA use, and some of the questions are worded in such a way to try and catch you out, I also don't have a braille display so I have no hope of getting those questions. I did think I would do much better since I've been using NVDA for 8 or so years and use most if not all of its functions. I'll take it again in 3 weeks having prepared this time.

Telling me not to use SAPI is all well and good, but this code triggers before the menu even loads, so I can't even change settings to see if this is the issue. @Robjoy, I do not recall me explicitly saying that Nocternous should use one or the other only; in fact, I think I never said anything of the sort, thereby allowing Nocternous to choose how he wishes to implement his site. Both languages are, in fact, comparable: both run on the server-and client-side of things now (Yes, PHP can run on the client-side of things (see command-line PHP apps like Composer)), both can do as many things as the other, and buth have other advantages and disadvantages I am unwilling to think of.

For CD you need to put a directory to go toCD .. takes you up a level and if you want to step through the directories do cd then hit tab to cycle through the directories one by one.Now for a weird question. Trying to create a federation in Piledriver (yes I'm a nerd damnit!) but whatever I do it gives me an error no matter what I pick, is that an issue with the dosbox or the actual game files itself?

Attempting to protect it by making two different versions will only piss people off because they have to implement their own encryption algorithm. This would, in turn, depopularize your product.Your only choice then would be to:Generate a random master seed using a combination of arandomly-generated seed value at compilation time stored as an internal variable compiled into t
 he executable and referenceable by a constant such as master_dec_enc_key;Use this key to then encrypt the data that the user wishes to encrypt; andUse the decryption master key that, again, is stored in the executable, to decrypt the data.Alternatively:Use an already-provided OpenSSL AES-256-CBC encryption algorithm to manage all your encryption and decryption needs (I highly recommend this one); orDo not include encryption whatsoever (highly not recommended).

Inaudible is indeed the dog's bollocks. Or more specifically, ffmpeg (which it uses internally) is. Once you have your activation secret, you can perform a lossless decryption of your Audible books; the resulting files are .m4b which then play in iTunes and are basically just unencrypted MPEG4 containers containing AAC data. You might follow this thread for why DRM is bad, how I overcame it with the aid of some nice people on here, and also, now that DRM is no longer a problem on Audible, how much more I actually enjoy the service ...

Beware! spoiling spoilers again! Well if I remember rightly darkness and ice are unlocked from the volcano, and desert is unlocked from ice.With the phrisbies it's just a matter of practice. Unfortunately several games in the factory feature the robots so you need to get used to them . I was playing darkness today and unlocked a couple more minigames, though cursed field still! is one I don't get.

Well... Yes, level 70 manamon would make it easier, but (IMO) that's way overkill. Level 55 should be enough if you know what you're doing and have set up a good team, or level 60 if your team isn't so good.

Oh sorry Riad, I should've explained that betterwhat I meant is that there aren't any minigames specific to the wild wood board that you can't find elsewhere in the game, the way that some boards have, eg I think the king's treasure minigame (the one with the locked doors and bonuses), is specific to secret cave board and isn't in any other world. As for wild wood, I think most games are from the forest, though I do remember seeing the haunted forest game which of course is in the darkness.

74! Not bad at all! Most of the questions I couldn't answer are based on using NVDA with refreshable Braille displays which I never had the opportunity to own one. I think the three-weak period you get after failing at this exam are enough to let you read the user guide. I first started using NVDA not too long ago (since 2012) while I used to be a Jaws user for more than 10 years before that.

Well we can have info on worlds etc in this topic so long as things are spoiler tagged I think, so in the name of that beware! here be spoiling spoilers of spoilerage! go no further letst unless you want spoiler information about worlds! All the current worlds in the game are: Vaelly, castle, beach, forest, underground, hights, circus, factory, interlectual, volcano, darkness, desert and ice. Many have two different worlds unlocked, eg, the castle unlocks both the forest and beach. I'm not absolutely sure which unlocks what, but usually most worlds have alternative paths, and of course there may be new worlds next version the way we recently saw the desert and ice worlds, (I'd love to see a space themed world for example). Also, once you start unlocking boards, the different boards come with minigames as well. The current boards are  default wild woods (which doesn't come with any minigames from what I know), deep 
 water, mysterious cave, and mischievious castle (which is also a great board for earning gems. hth.

Well I just finished Iron council, and bleak it certainly was. I actually remember reading somewhere that it was Mievil's attempt at a western theme, and while I could see that, mostly it reminded me of les miserables, and that very much because pretty much everyone died . I probably enjoyed it more than the scar though over all and the ending worked, even if it was pretty dam grim, though I wish there had been more links back to perdido street station (there were a couple but not quite enough). Perdido street station is not just good though it's frankly amazing, indeed it's one of the handful of books I've reviewed that ever got a perfect 10 from me, (you can check out my review on fantasybookreview.co.uk). I don't think Iron council was quite that good, but it was still pretty awesome, indeed I'll be writing a review in the next cou
 ple of days since fbr don't have a review of it.I will say not all of mievil's books have been quite as grim though. Railsea was actually pretty upbeat, for all it was wonderfully weerd in most places, and embasy town, though it had a bloody awful appocalypse had actually a good ending for once . Well not much to report since mostly it's been recovery for a couple of days, with lots of reading, game playing and large amount of backing up for me, still all necessary jobs that need doing I think .

No worries, I know it's quite the quandery for most of us. Paradoxically, I need to be in a really good mood to read China Meilleville, since his books tend to be pretty bleak. He's a brilliant writer and thinker, but I need something cheerful after 10 pages or so to escape the abyss. hello everyone, I'm totally shooting in the dark here, and if this is off topic say so, but if this is ea games, I think, if memory serves me properly is the same company that has the sims series of games. I would personally love to see this series made to be playable for the blind. One thing you could do is since you had to click on a sim's head to center him or her on the screen, you could have the individual sim have a name tag on them that the tts could read. The same with the different furniture and household items in the different menus. Again, I'm just thinking out loud here, and if I'm way too off, let me know but this is all very exciting all the same and I know we've got to take baby steps and we didn't get to the point we're at right now over night either.

Hi.You know, some might disagree on that, but I personally think that the move to 64 bit systems is the right thing to do, it wouldnt wonder me if apple drops all the 32 bit devices with the release of iOS 11. I heard that some people dont like it when apple drops products from their line up or cancels support for their device, but you have to look at android for example, some of the phones never even get a major update in their whole lifespan.I find it good that apple is trying to in force the use of 64 bit applications, but i guess there will be a lot of apps leaving the store, apps of smaller developers for example, we will see what happens.For example, I need to check around for a new forum browser because forum runner is on the list of 32 bit aps.Greetings Moritz.

Probably because I made a lot of points in my post  I'm pretty tired so I'll respond to them all as best as I can.Firstly, iirc FM synthesis isn't as visual as it is mathematical, though no doubt some visual displays can make it easier to see what you're doing. I'm not good at it myself but I'd like to learn more about how to make cool sounds with it like in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Streets of Rage, shining Force, Contra Hardcore, and Rocket Night Adventures,, just to name a few of my favorite Genesis compositions. What's even more visual is wavetable synthesis, such as that on the Nes's FDS and N163 expantion slots, and also on the PC Engine and Konami KSS chip iirc. Sighted people have it easy with those chips, they can copy the waveform shape from a waveform display into a wavetable slot, or 
 can memorise the shape of it and draw it and a wavetable is generated. We can't do that, but I've found a way to use Gold Wave to make wavetables. It's complicated and annoying, but it does work. At some point, I might make a tool for this task if I get enough programming knowledge. Right now my programming skills are dismal.Last I used PPMCK, it didn't require any hexadecimal numbers. XPMCK might, I haven't tried it much. The problem with XPMCK is that some of the sound chips are not well supported or are annoyingly limited. But others, I think, have fairly decent support. Again I haven't actually played a whole lot with it, but one of these days I will, as it would still be loads of fun.The program I use to create SPC700 stuff is called AddmusicK, which you can find in the tools section of SMW Central. It allows you to create music for Super Mario World but with a bit of modification it can be used just to do SPC music. I have a version 
 of addmusicK lying around that empties out all the SMW preloaded data, leaving me maximal space within the SPC700's ram to work in, and that is what I use for ambitious projects. The ones I intend to submit properly are made with the default configs. I also make my own brr samples for the most part, since I am a sampelr geek as well and feel sorta wrong ripping samples from games.I admit I haven't played much with midi to mml tools or anything like that. Maybe I'm spoiled or something but I find it easier to do the mml by hand, even if it takes longer.Your process with working with the ym2608 is interesting, but I'm not that adventurous to start doing stuff in Dos. Maybe one day I'll be bored/intrigued enough to wanna do it though. Lol

reason: The idleness cards are only drawn after all your actual cards are used up. So if you make a deck with only 30 cards you have a very high chanc of drawing ones you need, until turn 24 when you'll start drawing idleness cards.

Hey folks,I have some experiences with HTML for a longer time already, and a couple of months ago, I learned a bit of PHP during our coding lessons. It was funny and interesting to code, but to be honest, I preferr the CMS way.I tried Drupal and Wordpress for a while, but for my purposes, Drupal is pretty complicated, and I have Troubles with Wordpress creating my own Website structure.As far as Servers are concerned: If you'd like to just Play around with some CMS', I'd recommend XAMPP. XAMPP is a package with Tools that come in Handy on your local Server in combination with Apache. You just start XAMPP, and you can run your Websites and scripts over localhost.I am currently trying to run a simple Webpage with a home page, a static page for example "About us" or "imprint", a page to post any upcoming News or Events (most preferrably using a preconfigured form to post any News/Events) and a contact page with a contact f
 orm.So, in short, I only require some static Content and the Option to create my own forms that makes it easier editing my dynamic pages. What CMS would be therefore most recommendable?Thanks in advance!

I didn't manage to find the Rock Smash HM in Sylph Co, so I guess I missed it despite all the time it took me to finish it. Unless you are refering to Fire Red/Leaf Green in which some of the TM/HMs may be obtained differently. Or maybe it is in a place that is buggy, I know there are some in Sylph Co. Anyway, I'll have to compare with a FR/LG walkthrough to see if I find it.Edit: It seems the place where you find Rock Smash in FR/LG is not the same, so you clearly refer to Braillemon. Still, if you are lost in Sylph Co eventually, try following a walkthrough of the original games. At least I know it helped me at the end.

Here is how to convert audible audiobooks to MP3.Normally, the Audible audiobooks are formatted as AA, AAX, AAX+. But all of them are DRM protected. So if you want to convert the AAX to MP3 or AA to MP3, you need to remove the DRM first. (Apple Music Converter can do a perfect job for you)

Figured out the ASAP speech, the docs say hit control \What you have to do is hit control ad # at the same time, then 1-9 and s for speed.Can't find a way to save those every time I restart the talking dosbox I have to redo that
