I have been in two  minds about posting to this topic since I didn't want to reopen too much drama, but as matters seem drama free I'll put my ore in as well. Firstly, I very much appreciate the fact your always incredibly honest, and ready to help other people, including myself on occasion (my lady valued your NVda advice), your also one of the people who I regard as to know what they are talking about and be able to express their thoughts and opinions with clarity, something which I always value (especially online), I really admire the fact that you do not bare grudges against people and while you do have a temper, once it has passed it has passed. Also, like Jayde I appreciate that you are not as idiologically extreme as sometimes I or others might have believed.I don't have any direct "Grievances" or issues with you on a personal level, though I will admit I have a few reservations about the ways you've comported yourself on the forum in the past. there have been occasions (like that issue about racism you mentioned), where I've felt that you perhaps have not considered exactly how your remarks would affect others. There is a line between "brutally honest" and "honestly brutal" and it is a line I've seen you cross on occasions in the past, sometimes out of humour, sometimes I suspect out of a fit of annoyance with others, sometimes perhaps out of an overly fervent statement of your position on a given matter.Again, these occasions"  tend to be sporadic and by no means is a constant thing, but did occur in the past (though none  recently, indeed I don't think they would've been as much an issue five or so years ago when matters on the forum were a lot less fraught than they since have become. I'll lastly say its massively to your credit to post a topic like this, request honest opinions from others, and then take those opinions fairly and honestly as you indeed have, so a thumbs up for that one, Hope all of this makes sense. Again as I said none of this is intended as  cryticism or as a direct attack.

Greetings Jayde.Very rarely do we thank those in authority for doing what's right and I can honestly say that if such a warning was for me, I would still be thanking you. I know this may be hard to believe but the ideology that I subscribe to does allow me to live peacefully. I've recently had an aunty die and her funeral was a few weeks ago. I also have a family friend in a hospice who is dyeing of lung and throat cancer. He only has a few weeks to live now but rather than me quote the testament of truth to him, he already knows and accepts his fate, I instead, wished him well both in this life and wherever he may go when he returns to spirit. One thing I know for sure is that he won't be bored where he's going; he will be able to enjoy all that he's been able to enjoy here and so much more. He actually thanked me not only for being there but for allowing him the freedom to accept his fate. Not once did I say to him 'don't think like that, you're not going to dye;' I simply acknowledged it and we all made him happy by sitting with him for a few hours and giving him jellies and ice cream.Kind regards, Amin Abdullah.

Wow, interesting topic. Looks like I'm a little late to the party. I will be responding mainly to the original post as well as Jaybird and Ironcross, who I think have brought up really interesting points. For this reason I really do not recommend destructive editing when working on complex projects. You always run the risk of committing to something too soon and not being able to go back and revise it. I think for these kinds of things you should use a DAW that is non-destructive. I use Reaper, which is very accessible with the Osara add-on, though it's a bit of a learning curve, and I am not too proficient in using it yet. but I'm getting there.Reaper, as well as most other DAWs so far as I know, are non-destructive. In non-destructive editing, everything you do happens as the files are played. The audio is read from disc, and processed in realtime. Because of this, you can review and change things to your heart's content and instantly hear the results. When you perform a save operation, you are only saving a file telling the program the steps that got you here (this is often known as a project file). You can edit your project as much as you like. You could, for instance, decide that you don't like a particular reverb, or you don't like a particular sound. No problem. Just take the offending thing out of your project and replace it with something else. When you are really finished tinkering, you can make what is called a render, which is just a single wav or other audio file that reflects all your work. But even after rendering, you can still tinker with your project, and if you find something you like better, just make a new render. The only way to really get screwed over is to lose your project file.Now because destructive and non-destructive are internally very different, some tasks are more suited for one than the other. And Gold Wave is still easier to use and learn, so I'm not at all suggesting that you shouldn't use it. But for the problem you're facing, non-destructive editing will make your life easier if you can get to grips with an editor that works that way.Now for actually removing and isolating sounds. I've been experimenting with this for a while now. It's one of those topics that fascinate me. I've found that there are basically two types of sound removal: inverting, and what I call carving.Jaybird in post 9 explained inverting very well. You basically take the sound you want to remove and invert it. Gold Wave has an invert effect for this purpose. It won't sound any different when you do this, but trust me, it does do something. Now, mix that inverted copy on top of your file containing many sounds. The inverted copy has to be at the exact same time and volume for this to work. If it works though, the sound will be removed without a trace!This is purely a mathematical binary operation, so it *only* works if the sound you are trying to remove is exactly identical to the sound in the mixed file. Thus, the two have to be exactly the same volume and at exactly the same time. And anything that could change one or both files, such as clipping, distortion, effect differences, lossy file compression (mp3, ogg, wma etc.), or anything else will make the inverting trick less effective, and as a result, remnants of the sound will be left behind.Now the method I sort of call carving. Ironcross mentioned it when he said that a sound is essentially a sum of sine waves and that you can remove one sound from another by removing the sine waves of the unwanted sound. He is right in saying that it can degrade the quality moderately to severely. However, using Gold Wave's noise reduction, or any general noise reduction tool for that matter, demonstrates

Yeah I don't know if you've ever used a NES controller but it's a bit like a giant one of those... On the top surface it has a d-pad, two large buttons, and the usual Xbox/view/menu buttons and a button to switch between profiles. Then along the back it has all the 3.5mm jacks for switches, and on either side a USB port for hooking up analogue sticks to.I haven't come across the term "dome switch" before, what's that?

Of course you can create a new gym with zero record, but it's just a waste of time.To fight sooner. No, the game works on weekly basis, so each fighter fights once a week. You should create 15-20 fighters and, in a week, you'll get fights every day.Skills update. A fighter gains an ability point (AP) every time his status grows. Status grows when you win in short. So by winning fights you can reach status 28 with 110 APs. I recommend you not to bother about your record, create 15-20 fighters and test the game learning in the process. You won't be winning much at first, but in several months, depending on your will and effords, you begin to win more and more. You should be able to think things over to become successful in this game. Communication helps a lot too, asking questions, wishing to understand. It's a leisurely deliberate game.

I wish there was a better way to do this. I'd love to start a channel of my own, but I just want to upload content. (not vlogs or anything requiring video) It would be nice if I could just have visualizations to go along with the audio. (like the wave visualizations you used to be able to enable in Windows Media Player ages ago) Not anything great, but just something to look at.

As far as jailbreaking goes, jailbreaks are actually in the works for IOS 12, and there is actually already a rootless jailbreak available, but you have to manually install tweaks onto your phone yourself which is just so much fun(/s). (but even package managers are in the works as well) Besides the point though, Cydia Impactor is a great tool that lets you sideload apps onto your IOS device using a developer’s certificate. The only annoying part about it is that you have to reinstall an app onto your phone every seven days. If you buy an Apple developer account, you can go a year without having to sideload your apps again. There are services online that allow you to sign apps without having to constantly use Cydia Impactor again, but some of them are very sketch, and the one's that aren't are paid subscriptions. Sadly, Audio Defense still has bugs (whether it runs or not) so I've had a lot of crashing experiences with it, but you can get something out of it at least. I also believe that there's a limit to how many apps you can sideload at once using cydia Impactor, but I'm not sure off the top of my head what it is. Of course, you could get around this if you have multiple Apple ID's, but it's never been worth it for me. I've missed Stem Stumper for so long, but due to a careless mistake, I lost my ipa. (at least I think I did) so I can't find it anywhere else.

I think remembering what each troop does is what was tripping me up the most. Now that I don't have to spend more than a moment on how to counter build my opponents troops, the game is a smoother experience. I've even managed to beat the game using medium speed on a normal campaign. I'm hoping one day I might be able to do a playthrough in real time. This might be extremely difficult due to the multiple double tap lag like effect that happens whenever there is a live counter on screen, but at least now I know it might be possible.

@5Actually, that's not really true. I can't speak about this game, but in J stars you were always locked on to 1 or the other of your opponents if you pressed L1 at the start of the match. So if you ever needed to close distance, the homing dash kept you just running straight for them.

Greetings,So far the commands are pretty consistant from what I have seen in the short time I have played there. usually the commands you wanna know are search which will search your general vicinity and you can also type search obj where obj is the thing you were looking at. Most off the say commands are quite consistant as well. Hope that helps.

likejack, i don't think it is safe for me to put a link for them in here, sense technically they are paid games, that you can't get anymore so yeah. but here is how to do it.1. install iTunes if you don't have it already, but if you have a apple product, why you don't have it is beyaund me.2. download cidia imactor, and extract it.3. get the .ipa files you want for the games you wish to play. 4. sign into your apple ID account page and create a app specific password to use with cidia impactor. 5. open cidia impactor, and connect your phone threw USB, but plug it in first, then open cidia impactor. 6. go to the device menu, and select install package, or press i.7. point it to the .ipa file.8. put in your apple ID password  for logging in.9. put in the app specific password  you generated earlier.10. wait while it extracts everything to your phone. after like 5 or so minutes, hit insert+b and whenever it says complete, 90% then do the next one, or exit out of cidia impactor11. go to settings>general>device managemnt>your apple ID> and allow apps from your apple ID to be ran on your device. 12. run the game!note: you will have to re extract this after 7 days for a original apple ID, or after 1 year for a development apple ID.also back on the discussion. can someone help me get down the ladder in the night jar? it moves me near the thing that wants to eat me and i can't escape or turn away from it and i keep dying. its impossible i think, can you tell me how to do it?also what is the best terro cards and way to get coins  quickly in zombie arena. i really want all of the weapons. i already have the hunting rifle, sonic cannon, revolver, tiny mg, and sonof shotgun all the way leveled up, and the tacticle rifle is at level 3 or 2. i also am on the last arena. and on the level that is military grade weaponrey level, what is the best way oto beat that one? thanks in advance!

Lots of things make zero sense but they're still done. Hi,    @number 109, I’ll try and answer your questions below:-With the drawing/placing tiles thing, there are already a couple of functions that I think would allow what you are thinking of. So when laying terrains  down you can either press enter to place one tile at a time, alternatively you can just hold down shift and then use the cursor keys to move around but the whole time you are holding down shift it is placing tiles   on each tile you move too (this is the method I like most personally and the one I use in the videos). The final option is there is a key to toggle edit mode on and off, having this turned on works the same as the previously  mentioned technique  but having the toggle turned on just means you don’t have to hold down the shift key and everywhere you move to it places down a tile. -I like your idea of auto saving maps in this way, it would also allow for the undo recent action command you mentioned previously. Although I can’t promise it will make it into Sable, it’s definitely a good suggestion and one we’ll discuss.-regarding movement, other than the move to options I mentioned in the last post, there isn’t a way to move around the map any faster than a player would  be able to move around the map. When I’m editing/creating maps I find the move to options normally sufficient for getting around big maps, even if I don’t know the exact coordinates  of where I want to be I’ll normally  just guess the coordinates and usually end up in roughly the area I want and can navigate from there to where I want. . The final option for moving about is both players and creators can add markers to the map to help them easily  re find a specific  location. Yeah see, that whole attitude he gets really annoys me. He gets to this point where he acts all tough like I ain't taking nothing from noone, but he's not tough at all, so it's just a false front. I don't know, I don't hate the guy or anything, it's just immature and he can't run the game with maturity. It's also sad to see him adrift and not trying to do anything about his emotional issues because he's talented and they're a road block to his success.On your end Fox, well, I'm not going to say you deserved to be kicked or banned or anything, but it's just usually better not to confront someone when they're that pissed. Mason's kind of like a small animal. He's usually pretty meek, but he gets cornered and just goes wild, and when he's like that isn't the best time to confront him on things.See, here's where it goes around in circles, he's OK, then he gets stressed, that builds up, he feels under pressure, he gets angry then starts lashing out, then he usually apologizes and it starts again, it's this little cycle that he goes through all the time and he's like trapped in it but refuses to acknowledge it. I hold to the idea he should stop development, he just can't take the pressure, he's very emotionally unstable. He could resume it if and when he finds help and starts to learn better ways of coping.

I remember that in 4 dimensions for example the characters from the different ages had to be greeted with a special wording like hail or howdy, but sometimes they didn't stick to what age they were coming from and wouldn't react to their actual greeting method.So, how does new moon refer to that?Greetings Moritz.

OK, I changed the part about the elixirs, added some more about the mushroom witch, talked about burnt vs. hacked webs on return trips, and put something about sharpening stones and the merchant in the cheats section. Although, not sure if I have the numbers right on some of the end game items. Last night I made it to the throne room for the third Giant encounter, but I only had three life, and no healing potions, elixirs or monster parts, even breaking the totem of the tortoise couldn't save me. I was basically 1 healing potion away from victory, and looking at the antidote purchased from the first encounter with the merchant, when he didn't have a heal potion. This game really runs the razors edge, where 1 item really does tip the entire balance.

After finding yourself on another strange path you wander through the wilderness and discover:The unofficial Rogues guide to adventuring, The Path of AdventureRogue: starting HP: 15 Defense: 1 Attack: 1 Speed: 1Experience: you will gain 2 exp for killing a monster, but you get no exp if you kill them in one hit. If the monster runs away you will get 1 exp but no treasure, and running away grants you nothing but your life.  Elixirs of Growth:You will get the first elixir at 5 exp, the next elixir at 10 exp, the third elixir at 14 exp, the fourth elixir at 17 exp, the fifth elixir at 19 exp, and after that each new elixir will cost 20 exp. .   Use the first elixir to increase your health. With a health of 20 you will heal 2 points a day, and this adds up very quickly.The second elixir is usually best spent on speed. It helps to hit fast enemies, and will give you a dodge chance, especially in the beginning of the game. It’s better to take a hit with a 25% dodge than to block with a rusty dagger, or even a sword. This will save damage on your weapon.After that focus on Attack, defense, or speed depending on whether you are going up against the Giant, Dragon, or Hydra Respectively, and depending on what artifacts you have by that point in the game. Getting speed over 3 on elixirs alone is near impossible. Unless you neglect attack and defense.Somewhere along the way you may also want to increase your life total to 25. It wont aid the healing on the path, but it will make the healing potions more effective, and you will gain more life when using elixirs to improve other stats, for this reason I’d say this could be elixir 3 or 4. Expect to get about 5-6 elixirs throughout the entire game. Putting 2 into your health leaves you with 3-4 for other stats.  At least one of those should go to speed, and if you’re lucky you might have 3 left for more speed, attack or defence depending on your artifacts.Increasing life to 30 may even be a better idea than increasing defense. You will heal 3 points a day, and take more damage in more situations, but this really depends on what you have going on by that point in the game. Durability:This is one of the most important aspects of the game. You can only carry 4 weapons, and they wear out.There are basically 2 points in each category, so a brand new weapon has a total of 10 points of durability. Hitting an enemy lowers the durability by one. Misses don’t lower the durability, and a sharpening stone restores three points of damage.If you have two of the same weapon beat on one till it is breaking and then start in on the other one. Save the breaking weapon for a wraith, or when you need to use it. Although you may want to spread the damage around a bit, reduce one of the weapons to scratched, then start in on the other one. If you have to use a sharpening stone you will get all three durability points. If you have a weapon at the higher end of good shape it will only increase by 2 points because Brand New 2 is the highest durability rating.When to use elixirs, and other itemsSave your items until you absolutely need them. Although it is tempting to drink that heal potion as soon as your life hits 2, but you really should wait. You may get enough experience for an elixir in the meantime. Then when you need to heal you will get the stat boost, and have your healing potion for later in the game. If you are poisoned but have an elixir in your possession, wait until your life is at 1 or you encounter an enemy before drinking the elixir. If you encounter another snake tunnel you will get through and still have the elixir. If you drink the elixir when you are poisoned but still have 5 life and then encounter a snake tunnel, or poisin trap in the next room, you’d better hope you have an antidote. Even so, if you had saved your elixir, you would have the antidote for later.I only use elixirs when I absolutely have to, like if my life is low and I’m about to go into a fight. I have had two in my inventory, but never three, although it is now a personal goal, and always use elixirs before healing potions. The reason for this is, not only do you heal fully, but the stat boost will mean that in one way or another you will be needing to heal less.  You can access the inventory any time you are not engaged in battle. For instance, when you first notice a kobold on the path, but before you hit the fight button. In this way you can never be fully surprised.Use this to full advantage. If you have 6 life left and a monster part in your inventory you can eat it before hitting the fight button, and encounter the kobold with 11 life instead. Use monster parts out of battle and save potions for in battle where possible. Use a heal potion if it is the only thing you have and could save your life, but use up monster parts first. For instance, if you are about to go into a dark passage without a light, and your life is only 2 I

Julian, I'd steer clear of *intolerable* as the script-writer has indicated that no harm was intended, as was said by the audio engineer. He was the only blind person the scriptwriter had contacted, i.e he didn't research into it enough, so it is just a simple mistake. Don't worry about it, it won't happen again. No need to bring up the "unresolved grievance." And I think episode two is not released because of it doesn't have voice acting or sounds, though they can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I was actually thinking about making a topic about this one too... haven't picked it up myself yet. Debating it though. I did enjoy J stars for what it was, and this is supposedly by the same people if I'm not mistaken, so...The weirdest thing though is definitely seeing someone like Yugi taking on, say... Goku, and actually standing a chance. But I guess that's why people like these games, power scaling just gets thrown entirely out the window.

I'm continuing to realize how nice it would be for us to have our own library for the making of blind audio games.Python isn't really meant just for making games. Sure if you know where to look, you can dig up enormous things, but it's a general purpose language.This means there are many! many! many many many different modules, functions, built in variables, methods, and objects you have to sort through to find what you need.Add to that the names are a bit misleading if you're me, and the tutorial isn't written as nicely as in BGT, what I mean it's right down to business which is OK, but it doesn't give you as much room to figure out what it does.I've practiced Python a bit, and ran a few functions, imported a module or 2, but i'm not getting anywhere fast nor am I expecting to.

Just a quick update:I have reached out to BetterHelp in order to ask the question you posed, and we'll see what they say. This is extremely unlikely to impact anyone else's service; either they're accessible or they aren't. As someone who wants to abolish the stigma around mental health and wants to help as much as I can, I decided it was high time to take this bull by the horns and bloody well ask myself. I did receive a form letter immediately, but this was only to tell me that they would reply within one business day. In that email, I was also told that if this was a crisis situation, I should seek a hotline or call 911 if it was an emergency. Good advice, I think, since there are people out there who would try and use this sort of thing as a substitute for crisis intervention, which it absolutely is not.

This sounds like another version of jStars Victory VS, just with tagging mechanics instead of all characters on screen. And being a 3d arena fighter, it's hard to say how playable this game will be. Jstars, if you're blind, is basically a button masher as you try and not get lost in the arena looking for your opponents.
