I did it. Through the help of an aira agent, we worked together and had fun doing this.  You need to pay attention to what slots are filled. I hate the fact that you an't yet see or tell if somethingn is one or two slots but yeah I did it and almost completed my  first real tower of time. Anyway off to bed I go.

How the hell did he decrypt them anyway? Honest inquiry, I'm honestly not going to go using them or anything but I could've sworn those were password protected. Even if he had a pack extractor which is what the kids are running around with these days thinking they're so tough and all, aren't the individual sounds encrypted as well? I doubt the guy's got the know how to do a memory dump. Just for the record, this guy left the sounds folder open for all to see, compiled the game yet forgot to remove the includes folder! Lol, this honestly amuses me more than it should, but this guy didn't even try hard enough lol.

What if you and your buddies want to play privately, but none of you can port forward? You're out of luck at that point.I was thinking about this earlier when I tried and failed to help someone port forward. Why not take the existing network code for servers and find a way to integrate it into its own standalone program? This is probably easier said than done and might take a while, but I'm willing to wait.I've discovered that you can enable spectator mode and allow other players to play while you sit there and host the server. Why couldn't the server program do this? You'd have to figure out a way for the game creator on the server to choose the mode and find a way to actually start when everyone was ready, but it would make it so much easier! If one server is the best idea, I'm more than willing to host the official Crazy Party central server. Just modify the program to point at my server when choosing an option like connect to official central server.

@3In a lot of ways, what they did is no different than how anybody else makes music, either with trash cans, stomping, hitting inanimate objects, etc. only in this case they use bacteria found on the human body to mix music in an arbitrary/convoluted way. I can't say as i'm overly "hyped" by it, since as you say there's something lost in the translation from the original source, its more that its just as interesting to see what other people are up to and the different ways they happen to mix music. Its sort of like Rube Goldberg Machines, pointless complexity for its own sake can be interesting in and of itself sometimes, or maybe its that there's more to the overall performance besides the end result of the music, such as the interplay of the mechanics and methods used, be it complex mechanical engineering or in this case biological sampling.Anyway, if they were to convert raw DNA strings and bind the different values to instruments with modifiers based on their Epigenetic _expression_, that would be especially interesting since it would be much more of a raw _expression_ of the base information itself.

Yeah, goat is nice, though I've only ever had it stewed. My lady loves fish,  so  we tend to eat a lot of fish, and of various kinds. Pollock for example is wy nicer than cod or haddock and is becoming a much more common thing in Britain (we just had some for dinner yesterday). I'm personally less keen on mackerel or kippers, and tuna I only tend to like if prepared correctly which it often isn't.Mullet and munk fish are two absolute favourites of mine which are quite unusual, indeed at the same West Indian restaurant where I had the curried goat, they do an absolutely amazing monk fish  stew with muscles. One other odd thing which I do like is  Haloumi cheese. This is a thick, rather rubbery goat cheese with a salty after taste (originating in cypress. The key thing about it though, is that it is one of the few cheeses that does not melt. This means you can have it fried, grilled, or better still barbecued, indeed these days a lot of vegetarian breakfasts are using it instead of bacon, which is good sinced its much nicer. A friend of mine barbecued some a while ago which  was absolutely fantastic!

Dude I'm sorry to derail your topic, but I just wanted to say how much of an impact your music had for me growing up.  You worked on some of the most iconic projects of the era, and your music will always be associated with that time in my life and with those games for me, to the point that I can recognize most of your tracks just by hearing the first few seconds.Your compositions, for me, elicit the same feeling of nostalgia that tracks from Mario, sonic, or Pokimon would for someone who grew up with those games.Plus, they were just awesome at conveying the mood, from heart pumping action to calm, reflective  cutscene to sneaking around stealthily waiting for the next conflict.I know from personal interactions with people that your work has helped to inspire some blind kids to become keyboardists or take up electronic composing as a hobby.Do you happen to have any sort of archive of those songs?  I'd happily buy it on bandcamp or something, and also direct friends who grew up with the same games to it.  I can understand if some of the music you worked on can't be released do to featuring work from other composers, or the commercial rites still remaining with the game's developer, but what ever you can offer would be appreciated.Some of my favorites are the background music from treasure hunt Area 2, dark destroyer menu music, the second dark destroyer background level track, the calm background/cutscene track from treasure hunt, the battle music from treasure hunt, and the track named ms4-1.ogg from TDV2, as well as the track named background6.wav from Tarzan Junior.And those are just from the games I know you worked on...

Yeah I think they should just be limited a bit, not taken completely out. Where I ended up getting frustrated was when I did nothing else besides fight rockets. My suggestion would be limit the min reload time of the launcher, then also limit the max amount of rockets that can be queued up, so, say I used 10 enemy callers. Well, using 3 would net me rockets firing from both sides for a good solid 2 minutes, so I wouldn't even wanna think about using 10. But, what this could do is say, no more than say, 5 rockets per caller per side, and at a minimum, 5 seconds need to pass before launches.

Let's say I take the pacman concept. I make my own sounds for the ghosts, the dots, the intro, credits and any exit music, as well as the little level intro bumper. Then I write it all myself, all the code is mine and not taken from anywhere except where properly licensed. SO, that means I get to use libraries I have the license to use, or which are publicly available and I am abiding by the license terms. SO, all my sound, and all my code except for libs and stuff, but the game logic and all that is mine. Any sounds I am abiding by the license terms, etc. Then I can release it and I don't see a problem with that. It's when people release these games without acknowledging where they come from, saying they did this and that when all they really did was reworked some source code, mostly just changing a few constants and variables to make it feel a bit different, then replacing some of the sounds. That, I think, should be punishable on this forum.

@Mirage I did look at erion recently, but the changes seemed to have played merry hell with my character, I suddenly had had a lot of my quest gear vanish and was in a random  in the temple in the middle of a sort of amazonian looking town. I don't mind the game changing, but I was a bit confused to say the least especially with regards to what quests I had or hadn't done and what items I still did and didn't have. In particular, I was a wee bit disappointed at all my hard earned quest gear going bye bye, though likely if I check the game out and just run through the newbie tutorial, even though I'm wy over powered for it I'll be okay. My only personal issue with  Erion was the speed of progress vs unique missions since levelling took a lot of xp, which often meant lots of grinding in familiar areas before you saw anything new, plus I tended to run out of missions around level 10, then find a huge jump to level 35 or so before I got the next one (and since grinding one level could take ten minutes to half an hour this was quite a ways off). Apparently the game once had much faster progression, then the xp caps were changed, but not the levels new missions appeared at, though it is entirely possible in rejiggering the newbie experience, the lower level experience got some changes too. Oh and yeah, Erion has a super nice community, with lots of fun minigames destractions and little asides to look out for which keep exploring interesting.@piller223 runto is like a way of instantly zapping your character to a zone. For example, if you have to go to the valley of the elves, "runto valley" will do. Your character will zip there at super speed, and wind up at the entrance of the zone, I sort of think of  like a startrek teleport system crossed with sonic the hedgehog .

@3In a lot of ways, what they did is no different than how anybody else makes music, either with trash cans, stomping, hitting inanimate objects, etc. only in this case they use bacteria found on the human body to mix music in an arbitrary/convoluted way. So yeah, I can't really say i'm overly "hyped" by it, since as you say there's something lost in the translation from the original source, its more thats it just interesting to see what other people are up to and the different ways they happen to mix music. Its sort of like Rube Goldberg Machines, pointless complexity for its own sake can be interesting in and of itself sometimes, even if a part of you is screaming "WHY!?".Now, if they were to convert raw DNA strings and bind the different values to instruments with modifiers based on their Epigenetic _expression_, that would be especially interesting since it would be much more of a raw _expression_ of the base information itself.

I@m just guessing as regards the anticipation timer from what I saw on the wiki, I haven't actually unlocked the perk yet, though I'll let you know when I do.I'm currently on zone 86 and intend to clear 90 before I portal again, though I've only got 200 geneticists so far  with 600 nurseries, particularly since as I finished the trimp challenge this run I'll have the resilience perk next time around which should let my trimps survive at higher levels for longer, plus of course some additions to other handy perks like carpentry.

Dude I'm sorry to derail your topic, but I just wanted to say how much of an impact your music had for me growing up.  You worked on some of the most iconic projects of the era, and your music will always be associated with that time in my life and with those games for me, to the point that I can recognize most of your tracks just by hearing the first few seconds.Your compositions, for me, elicit the same feeling of nostalgia that tracks from Mario, sonic, or Pokimon would for someone who grew up with those games.Plus, they were just awesome at conveying the mood, from heart pumping action to calm, reflective  cutscene to sneaking around stealthily waiting for the next conflict.I know from personal interactions with people that your work has helped to inspire some blind kids to become keyboardists or take up electronic composing as a hobby.Do you happen to have any sort of archive of those songs?  I'd happily buy it on bandcamp or something, and also direct friends who grew up with the same games to it.  I can understand if some of the music you worked on can't be released do to featuring work from other composers, or the commercial rites still remaining with the game's developer, but what ever you can offer would be appreciated.Some of my favorites are the dark destroyer menu music, the second dark destroyer background level track, the calm background/cutscene track from treasure hunt, the battle music from treasure hunt, and the track named ms4-1.ogg from TDV2, as well as the track named background6.wav from Tarzan Junior.And those are just from the games I know you worked on...

I see.Well, I agree that intensive tasks are an issue when they can't be easily stopped via task manager, but that's pretty rare and even when stacked up, most program's background tasks (usually updators) are little more than a drop in the bucket for a machine running the suggested minimum specs for Windows anyway.Anything that requires someone to fuck around with MSConfig or Services.MSC to disable it, that actually has an outsized impact on system performance even when the main program connected to it isn't running (unless it's very nature is for real time background monitoring) is going to cause problems for non power users with lower spec machines (a Venn diagram that intersects quite a bit) is an issue though I agree, particularly if it's hidden or unclearly named.But from my experience, that's a pretty small amount of services, and I think that's how MS will see it too.  It may be somewhat more cluttered, but the performance impact is likely negligible for the majority of users.As for the bundle offer thing, I actually think that's quite a good idea!  I'll happily back that one.

About the larger map size, we could, but I've found that if we do this, the field quickly becomes sparse and you can survive for 20 minutes for lack of entities in a given space.

There are a couple things. Make sure your account is more than 4 letters in length unless it is paid, or it will be deleted by the spam filter. In the next update we will actually put a warning about this in the create account screan so stop confusion. Also, there are other things that trigger the spam protection such as if the account was never used, is still at the default spawn location, still has a default inventory, etc. You'd be surprised how many people make loads of spam characters just to annoy everybody. So basically, make sure that your character name is at least 5 letters in length, and that you don't have a default inventory and you at least move around a little bit, or else the game will think you simply created your char and logged in once, didn't do anything, and logged off, thus it will treat it as spam. If you really wish to use a 4 letter name, you can certainly purchahse the account and if you do so it will never be marked as spam what so ever.

I don't know much, nor particularly care about, this situation, but the way this is written sounds more like a politician or corporate executive attempting damage control after getting caught doing something they knew was stupid than a real honest apology.The tone minimizes complicity while also seeding doubt about the claim's voracity...It sounds like you just want people off your back and are confused about the level of severity that people seem to place on your actions, but don't actually have any real regrets beyond the fact that your now being held responsible.Anyway, sounds like you just played the game and lost.

or if free sounds don't suffice, you should ask someone to handle the sound design for you. The way commercial sounds work is basically the following:Distribution: Sounds need to be distributed in such a way that the entire original sound cannot be recovered, whether that be the fact the original sound isn't even in its complete form, or there's enough sounds surrounding it. In the case of music, this is a bit more clear, i.e, game loopss are fine, ringtones are not.If sounds are encrypted then you're off the hook as your intention is not for people to have access to the sounds in the first place.Remember that if you choose to use free sounds, for the love of all that's good, attribute them in the credits.

Scrolling Battles 2, (original 8.6 and 9.6) were the versions to be made open source officially. Is your code based off of that code by any chance? If so, you haven't stolen code, but you stole sounds and cut scenes. Cut scenes! We all are fed up with people stealing sounds, but stealing cutscenes? Come on! Can it be any more obvious you're duping us? Anyway, if it is not based off any of those codebases, then you have stolen code and sounds and scenes and characters and who knows what the hell else. Most interesting thing I've eaten was goat, which is nothing.  Takes spices well, and allot like lean beef just tougher and a bit more fibrous.Other than that, I partly grew up on East Indian food (punjab region) so I'm pretty into that.  Stomach can't take the same level of spice now as it used to though. :-(

Same and I'm on NVDA.  I find that using prerecorded speech works better anyway, that way you don't miss it because the screen reader is disabled to avoid notifications from other programs, or just gets drowned out by other sounds.Doesn't need to be voiced, just some TTS at a reasonable rate and volume would work fine.  Add an echo to make it cooler if you'd like I also think a slightly larger field or at least a higher expansion rate would be kinda nice, but maybe that's just me.

I've noticed that a lot of times the powerup you get isn't being read. I'm using JAWS, and I'm pretty sure the problem is that if you're not extremely careful about just tapping arrow keys when near a powerup, if you have a key held down, speech is interrupted so you never get to hear what it said.

If you want to easily use cmd to execute scripts, you could just make a very small batch file that executes the code if you don't want to call python scriptname.py arg1 arg2 arg3 etc. For me I can just call py scripts like executables, but maybe not everyone can. I've gone through so many python re installations over time I couldn't tell you if it's just me lol. Anyway, if your file is called something.py, you could probably just make a batch script like: @echo offpython something.py %*That will execute something.py with all args you pass it, and you should certainly be able to call batch scripts propperly. Cython is also an option, but a bit difficult to set up and probably way more advanced than you would want for your situation. Theoretically it wouldn't be that hard to write a small C application or hell even .net or anything else really that just saves your code as a string in the executable, loads python37.dll, and calls the eval function directly with your code

Keep in mind you only need to forward ports to host. You don't need to do this just to play with other players. You can click on see the public server list and connect to anyone who has a server open, and there usually are at least a couple of servers playing. Also, you can click on the try to redirect port using mini-UPNP in the menu, then try hosting a public server to see if others can connect. This may not work however. In any case, make sure Crazy Party is allowed through your windows firewall or you won't be able to host even if you have forwarded the ports successfully.

Find the Backup & Sync icon in your system tray and press enter on it. his should bring up a little window with buttons like settings Press tab and it should tell you the name of the file as well as the percentage uploaded. There's no way to check how fast it's going, so it's either visual or it isn't idsplayed at all.

yeah fighter, this game contains 2 characters cause it's very cluttered and unoptimized. And remember, audiogames is not anyaudio. You can put what ever you want in anyaudio but not in audiogames.And what about your online game? another cm/redspot/btb/something else clone?
