Hi.It would be totally amazing if Blindcraft got released so people could play around with what has been developed so far. Maybe an option to share maps, or upload them to a server.

Unfortunatly NVDA is much more CPU intensive, due to the developers hell bent determination to support legacy technologies and apps, such as office 2007.  NVDA is also a 32 bit application.

Update. To spawn the zeninage sword, you must have gold >than 3. The game will take away that 3 gold away in exchange for that sword spawning. For example, You have 30001 gold. When the sword spawns, You will only have 1 gold. Not only it uses your gold for attacking, you also need to pay for it to spawn.Greedy son of a shit.

Re: Multiple State Menus?

Objects are not necessarily entirely isolated, since by their very nature they have to interact with other elements of the program. The player class for example may have to be aware of the environment for collision or interaction purposes, or vice versa, the environment being aware of the player for said purposes. While input could be funneled directly to the player class, the player class may in some way still have access to things like menu's or other classes.Part of the stuff I worked on when writing RTS's involved deciding how much information, if any, units would have for rendering or environmental data when pathfinding, or whether that would be handled by a centralized environment or unit handling class that would oversee the units themselves per faction.Given your hypothetical scenario of pressing enter for getting a read on your surroundings, that could be an input element that taps into map data the player class may have access to for collision or ID purposes to display that information, or it could have the player class call a function in your environment class that could ID the player and any nearby objects and dump text about them, or pass the call to an event handler up the chain that can refer it to the environment class.

Haven't red the book, but, umm, have listen to a bit of the movie on Jeff's catalog lol! Can't imagine what would be the visuals on the screen, it will definitely qualify as a porn movie if audio description is anything to go by. That just cements the fact that sex sells in all of the cultures, even the local movies have that element. All I want is a good story, some nice characters, twists and turns, etc etc. Absence of sex or romance will just make it comfortable to listen to or watch it with family around. Guess until then I am stuck with Home alone. Lol! I mean the movie Home Alone.

Re: Multiple State Menus?

So, another question. This one is caused by a book, game programming patterns to be specific. The chapter in question can be found here. I am planning to model my test game like this: the main class is a state within itself, having a stack  onto which it is going to push the menus and the game states. The game is going to be another state class, which will have list of states on its own, in addition to performing necessary checks for objects and the player. Here is the problem: the way the book described it was that player handles their own input.  The game doesn’t care if you press a, your space key, it just passes it on to the player. The player internals pass it along to its current state, be it jumping, ducking, etc.  All good so far. However, let’s suppose the following scenario: the player has a normal state. During the normal state they can press enter to get a short piece of text describing their surroundings, any objects nearby, passages, etc.  My question is, how? The player has only access to their internals, they do not have access to the map.  The game can’t check for specific input, since then we are coupling what the player can do to the main game class.  I am used to just writing hardwired code in a specific function within the main game to get the players input and respond accordingly, so thinking like this is new for me. Anyways, back on topic. The book illustrated states accepting a reference to the player class and the current event. This way the states can act upon the player.  While I could apply the same logic to the map in python, or even to the entire game class itself, I do not believe that such approach is correct.  After all, the jumping state doesn’t really care for the list of current objects around the player. So, the dilemma here is that the player needs access to information which they do not have, and references just don’t seem like the correct solution. I still am feeling like I am viewing the problem in an incorrect light, and I will drop this if I am encouraged to do so. However, I would like to use this technique as I’ve seen, at least on paper, the elegance of following the pattern. I have tried googling, though most of what I found is a rehash of what I already know. My apologies if I’m missing something blatantly obvious.

Yes, since november 2019 it's possible to play as him. And he can morph in every fighter including goro. Goro also is selectable himself. It always was my dream to play as Shang Tsung. And I played on the hard difficulty. Don't wonder, I have a cheat activated to almost always fight at goro's lair and another one for infinite finishing time.Have fun with it and tell me what you think. If you have questions, feel free to ask!You can get the playthrough at the following link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/hk0vvzhlowumi … g.mp3?dl=1

There is only the option to modify input tables, though it has been available in previous releases of the add-on. However, when I try to modify the braille input table gesture to something else on my braille display, and when I activate the newly created command, NVDA switches between output tables although the option is not available and the one I have just modified is the gesture for the input tables. Any idea what is going on?Thanks.

It's going to be tough. You're going to have to use a walkthrough guide from IGN or similar to know where to go and what items you can collect. You'll have to do a lot of grid searching (as in go all the way up while tapping A, take a step right or left, go down all the way while tapping A) to find items. If it is still possible to download Pokegen or Pokesave, those are really helpful tools for reviewing your inventory. They're meant for cheating of course (by editing your save file), but I always used them just to show me an accessible list of my items and in what order they appear.Every now and then you'll come across an area that you just can't get through without sighted help. If you do find someone to help you, have them right down instructions in the form of step counts so you can get through those parts if you ever have to again.I haven't played HG/SS much, but in most of these older Pokemon games I'd say you can get through 90 percent of the areas with just an online guide. It's doable but you're going to need some patience. This is much harder than what you're used to with Crystal Access or Manamon.

Re: Commtech USA is now hiring!

@30 Not necessarily. If you do a job well, you put on a game face for it. I bet tons of the people working customer service are just itching to go off on the people they have to take shit from, but because it's their job, they don't do that and put on a cheery persona. Sometimes if they don't do their job well cracks might appear and you might be able to tell that they fucking hate it, but Nocturnus and Nightshade were probably just doing a good job and not showing whatever problems they had with it. There was probably a straw that broke the camel's back that made them quit, or maybe it was in fact a very sudden event. Who knows.Edit:The fact that six people quit at once makes me think there was some kind of problem with upper management or whatever. I saw a conversation on a mailing list from someone who spoke like they were in an upper management position at the company who was very unprofessional. If that is how they treat dealings with random people who question something about their advertisement, maybe they do not treat their employees well. Obviously this is still all speculation, it could just be that all of those people got poached by a company offering better pay or something.

Yup its a remake of gold and silver so you will get the same pokemon from crystal. The Pokeballs are in the middle right somewhere shown horizontally, if i remember correctly.By the way, that thing about the bgm slowing does not happen on official hardware.

Sorry about double posting, but this is very important in my opinion. To save games, do the following.Press s, then down 4 or 5 times. X, twice. If the BGM slows down, then the game is saving. To continue from wear you left off, after you open the game press enter three times then press X, don't press up or down. It will put you on a different option. I'm now on the part wear Professor Elm says something about Pokeballs and doesn't let me exit the lab. Problem is, I think this part might require some sighted assistance. Guessing I now have to pick between Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur unless this game uses the Pokemon you find in Crystal.

Hi guys, because I was a little bored I thought I do a playthrough for you all. It's the good old game mortal kombat for the SNES.But this time, I'll play as Shang Tsung! Yes, since november 2019 it's possible to play as him. And he can morph in every fighter including goro. Goro also is selectable himself. It always was my dream to play as Shang Tsung. And I played on the hard difficulty. Don't wonder, I have the cheat activated to almost always fight at goro's lair.Have fun with it and tell e what you think. If you have questions, feel free to ask!You can get the playthrough at the following link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/hk0vvzhlowumi … g.mp3?dl=1

Re: YouTube took away my rights to voice my opinions

Couldn't be bothered looking through to see if someone already commented on this, but the problem with youtube and a lot of other social media is publisher vs platform. If it is a platform then your first amendment most certainly apply. If it is a publisher, then they can pick and choose what they publish, but are also liable for anything that might slip through.Besides, in today's society I'd say that all social media should be held accountable to the first amendment of individuals. How do you silence someone in today's highly internet-centric world? Easy, just take away their social media.I expect some counter arguments to this, which I'm prepared for. Just too tired to write them out tonight.

Didn't notice that until you pointed it out, I know it's Heart Gold. It's a thing I have set with NVDA to make it say "chips" instead of "gold" to make games that use gold as their currency sound different. Anyway, I managed to make it passed the introduction screen and now have know idea what to do. I know I'm in the game because it makes step sounds, but OCR only says something like 32000 instead of giving me instructions on wear to go next.

So, I just found a Nintendo DS emulator and was able to download Pokemon Heart Gold. It opens fine and I can read the introduction screen using NVDA's OCR, but I can't read the menus with it. Is this game actually playable for blind people? And if so, how do I go about playing it? So far, I've discovered one thing, wait before pressing caps lock R to recognize. The text goes by slowly.

Re: Any data hoarders on here?

Yeah, for all intents and purposes, I'm not using a Raid array for backup, I'm using it for archival purposes. So it shouldn't be an issue. Even if it is attached to hte network, I only need one drive to back it up, say once a month, and it would be an offline drive.Only things I would backup is maybe my windows instalation in case my SSD shits the bed. Everything that's important is either on Mega, or on a separate drive inside my computer.

Re: Any way to make coding on MacOS non-painful?

Every bit of goodwill for this platform that I've ever had has evaporated. Fuckers locked down debugging such that even launching lldb and running or attaching to something pops up a GUI prompt asking you to enable debugging. If you're remote over SSH, using VSCode remote development for instance, it just silently fails. SSHing in and running lldb manually just returns an exit(1) whenever you run your app. Apple gaslit me into thinking I'd forgotten how to use lldb until I manually installed gdb, and the homebrew package at least had the decency to fail in ways that led me to discover that the OS locked down debugging. So even SSH-based development is locked down on MacOS. You're either able-bodied enough to use Xcode, or you're just a user.God this upsets me. iOS is certainly a more accessible platform, I'll give it that. But I wouldn't be the developer I am today if it wasn't for Android giving me the freedom to build Spiel, my own GPS app, and a bunch of other little experiments. I hate hate hate that the more accessible mobile platform is locked down such that blind software developers will have an uphill battle trying to write apps for it. Running my own software on my own portable device was one of the most magical experiences I've ever had as a developer.I'm going to stop ranting and smoke a bowl before I go too much further down this path. But figured I'd share the latest chapter in the shitshow. VSCode remote development works well right up until you need to actually debug something. So there but for the grace of god go you, and stay away from MacOS development if you have that luxury.

Re: Any data hoarders on here?

Here are my thoughts:1. Any hard drive, of any brand, any model, any production line, can and will eventually fail unless you stop using it first. Any drive, again of any brand, model, etc. can fail with absolutely no warning, taking all your data with it. I suspect people telling stories about never buying XYZ brand again are because they've had bad experiences with it, or know someone who has. Personally I've used both Western Digital and Seagate with no problems.\2. Backup, backup, backup! For data you truly care about, I'd recommend having at least three copies, at least one of which is at an off-site location. If you add online backup such as Backblaze to the mix, that's even better. By the same token:3. RAID is not a backup! RAID is not a backup! RAID is not a backup! True, a RAID can help in situations where one drive fails. However, since everything is mirrored, if a nasty virus or trojan hits or you accidentally delete something, RAID won't help at all. Also, if the array is damaged or destroyed by flood, fire, theft, etc. your data's still just as gone as it would have been on a single drive.

Hello,@19: check out:https://forum.audiogames.net/topic/2256 … -possible/post number 17. My English was kind of horrible at that time, somewhat similarly to my C++ coding style. But similarly as my games from those time, it worked, so... hmmm... Also, don't get excited yet, I still have to get the game myself. And the problem is, that I don't know which version did I release for testing as last, really, I'm totally lost in it.So we'll see. I hope we'll find something, as I spent a lot of time on that project and it would be pity if it just got lost.Best regardsRastislav

You can always check what is using a lot of memory in the task manager, but no, NVDA normally should not use a lot of Ram. This can however depend on what addons you have installed as well.

Does NVDA take up a lot of ram in win10?

Hi.On my Dell XPS9300, it's showing between 30 and 35% ram usage when idle, which sometimes increases to 40% and over when I open programs or brows using Chrome.Steam and malwarebytes both are running in the background, but I don't think said services could account for 4GB out of the 16GB ram installed, could be wrong though. That's why I thought NVA could have something to do with it.I've set it to clear the page file on shutdown, which is supposed to fix memory leaks if that were the problem, but it doesn't seemed to have helped much.If anyone else has any suggestions of what to do, or if this is just normal please tell me.Thanks

But a $200 laptop is probably a piece of shit potato, with few exceptions.I had a toshiba laptop that I used to do all my old recordings on, and you can actually hear fan noise in the vocals when they're soloed because they would wind up like crazy under load. It ran horrible on Windows 8.1.

For me it starts with NVDA, JAWS, Dropbox, winero tweaker, Office, Winamp, Chrome, Q-Read, ABBYY Fine reader, Kurzweil, iTunes, Audacity, Goldwave, and I think that's it.It takes me almost 7 hours to properly set up my laptop as I want it. That includes installing apps, tweaking settings, and structuring files as I had them on my older laptop or before formatting my current laptop. I do this process every one year or ten months.

@lemmI have a suggestion, I don't know how you wrote your code so how difficult that would be to make possible, but did you think about adding a multi language function to sable? When i wrote my first rpg prototype (which unfortunately broke btw, kind of curius if you have fixed this can not open file bug yet) it was often wierd because all the elements where in english but the game it self was in german. Resulted in combinations like "verwirrt faded from bogenschütze."(confused faded from archer.).

So, I just found a Nintendo DS emulator and was able to download Pokemon Heart Chips. It opens fine and I can read the introduction screen using NVDA's OCR, but I can't read the menus with it. Is this game actually playable for blind people? And if so, how do I go about playing it? So far, I've discovered one thing, wait before pressing caps lock R to recognize. The text goes by slowly.

@AmericranianCalm down their buddy we aren't insulting your child. And I beg to differ that sniping isn't a useful part of the game just because the sniper missions have bad rewards.  It's not all about the rewards anyway, they are simply fun, and sitting on ranger island or on the roof near the railroad tracks with a sniper rifle is a hell of a good time. Also, bows are hella useful outside of missions, and I find simply surviving to be the most enjoyable part of Swamp anyway, not missions.  Having a powerful, quiet ranged weapon is always useful for avoiding swarms while gathering equipment or helping other players.

You need a RAID array so there's parody if one of the drives fail. Also I would highly not recommend Seagate, as they fail often and when they do, it's usually in a catastrophic way. Some data recovery experts refuse to work on them, and I saw a video once where they had a drive on the bench and the head crashed and turned into powder.

@MayanaHarsh but true, I said similar things in the survey.I don't necessarily believe that the tutorial is overly patronizing if it's aimed at older/unexperienced VI people such as at blind schools or voc rehab centers, and considering that's most of them, it's probably the only kind that the OP has been exposed to.I really just want a way to skip it...  But it was kinda insulting to me at first as well so I get it.I do like the sound design for the most part though, and the voice doesn't really bother me that much for a free concept project.  It's not a menu driven game so I can put up with it pretty easily.

Re: Handling Input in Pyglet

Hi, sorry for all of the questions in the same thread, they are just all related to pyglet input handling.Anyways, I was wondering about the event handler on_text_motion_selectI have a text box that I created using the on_text_motion, and on_text handlers, but I did not realize there was one for selecting text. My text box is currently using on_key_press for selection commands, which obviously is not cross platform friendly. Mac users would have to use windows commands to select things. So I started looking into on_text_motion_select once I read about it somewhere, and I am a bit confused since the events for the on_text_motion_select are the same in the docs as for on_text_motion. IF this is true, and you are using both handlers, how do you know if you are navigating or selecting text if the same event is passed to both at the same time. Is there some other prerequisite for something to be considered to be selected that I am missing in the docs?

Re: Creating a code free RPG using Sable(video 14), by Ebon Sky Studios

Hi everyone,Pleased to hear everyone liked the sound of the new additions. As mentioned some of these were as a direct result of feedback received during the public Alpha, the new features definitely add the possibility for some interesting game mechanics. It’s also really good to hear so many people are excited about Crimson Eclipse too, I’m really looking forward to that myself  as I’ve seen all the work the game design team and our sound designer are putting into that. I’ll answer a couple of the questions which have come in.@pates, as SLJ mentioned , with the public and private alpha testing now closed our full focus as mentioned yesterday is shifting over to our game Crimson eclipse. A common problem with development is feature creep, where you get caught up adding so many features nothing ever gets released, which is something we don’t want to fall pray to here at Ebon Sky Studios. Once Crimson Eclipse has been released and people have seen first-hand what Sable is capable of and we have a polished more complete beta version of sable that’s when we would be looking for feedback on additional features. What I would say though just to answer your question, you could do what you had  asked for using the quest system already built into Sable, you could create the iron ore as a quest completion key and when you return it to the NPC he would give you the iron sword in exchange. it may not be exactly what you were after,, but I think would have the same results.@Juliantheaudiogamer, I know what you mean about creativity, I actually attempted to write my own Audio game RPG long before Sable or Ebon Sky Studios was a thing, I built a lot of the coding framework , but when it came to storyline and the creative writing side of it I found out I wasn’t so good at that side of it  . Ebon Sky studios was formed sometime after that when I met up with a fellow gamer  with a similar passion for RPGs (we’d both played many of the same main stream RPG titles when we were younger),  although he doesn’t code  it turned out he was an excellent writer with a ton of really interesting game ideas. We decided to pull our resources and that’s how Ebon Sky Studios came about. so although personally I’m not very creative, with Sable I can happily work away on what I enjoy doing which is code, whilst the game design team work on the creative side of everything like game design, scripts, storyline , mechanics stats etc. we actually now have two game designers plus a professional sound designer too, which are all part of the Ebon Sky Studios team and busily working away on Crimson Eclipse. it’s a nice set up since although we all work closely together, we can all focus on our own areas and what we enjoy doing the most, having everyone playing to their own strengths.  Similarly, This is one of  the other reasons we built Sable, since I believe we  have a ton of really talented individuals within the audio games community, but not everyone can code, hopefully Sable gives those people the tools to turn their creative ideas into stories we can all play and enjoy. I appreciate that was a really long answer to a question you technically didn’t ask , but since you mentioned creativity it made me think of this, plus , I thought you and others might be interested in how Ebon sky Studios came about and some more about the rest of the team. Regarding your question about Sable itself, as Gamulation mentioned the current version of Sable is written in BGT, it’s important to remember though this version is just a prototype. If Sable is successful the plan would be to rewrite Sable in a full programming language to offer more flexibility and futureproof the engine. That’s a long way off though as first we have to release Crimson Eclipse and then release a full official complete version of the current prototype Sable, to find out if a set of development tools like Sable is something the community is interested in and wants.Paul LemmEbon Sky Studiosemail: i...@ebonskystudios.comFacebook: https://m.facebook.com/ebonskystudios/Twitter: @ebonskystudios

Any data hoarders on here?

So as of now I store all my data on one Seagate backup plus 4 tb hub, since late 2017. Probably horrible to most of you techies here, and I understand why, if that drive goes belly up, bye bye all my data.I've been thinking about trying to archive YouTube channels and for that I'm going to need a huge amount of space, plus redundancy, because I'll also be storing the data I have currently, which is a little over 2 tb. I still live with my parents so I doubt they'd let me set up a NAS, even though its probably the best option. USB enclosures seem to not be favored for the most part when dealing with stuff like this. Its also going to be very expensive no matter how I slice it, 10 tb drives look to be at least $300.What setups do you guys use?

I personally view AI Dungeon as the ultimate in sandboxes, though it requires you to be in the right mindset and can occasionally be hard to get the most out of. It has the distinction of being 100% accessible, at any rate.

Are Ureinaman and Snowmonno the only ghosts that get wraith's curse or am I just dumb and overlooked it somehow? This is kind of a nice nuke to have. I wonder if there are any other ghosts that have this move that don't die so easily. Still not quite sure what I think of Banshreek yet. So far it's just kinda meh. Sanctosole is also kinda bleh before it gets righteous rend. Paralyze and horrify seem like they'd be a pretty neat combo along with confuse, but not so much on bosses. So far, they're either immune to one or the other, or both, which kind of mutes it a bit. So far though, it's just, er, meh.

Re: In need of Playtesters for my first Audiogame Project

2020-08-11 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Developers room : Mayana via Audiogames-reflector

Re: In need of Playtesters for my first Audiogame Project

First, I'd like to say that I am thankful you have decided to try your hand at developing audio games. I really am. We have only a few hundred of them, compared to the millions of mainstream games, and innovation from sighted developers is always welcome. However ... as it stands, to me WHY seems to be short for "WHY am I playing this instead of doing ... almost anything else?"Let's start with the tutorial, which is, in my opinion, too long and overly patronizing. During the first listen, I'd already mostly stopped paying attention by the part where how to actually play was being explained. The fact that it plays every. Single. Time you open the game, and can't be skipped by just pressing escape once, definitely doesn't work in its favor either."Please note that damage, or having incomplete or non-standard equipment may be detrimental to experiencing the game, if not render it unplayable."Wow, thanks. I never would've thought.Lines like this one,  the drawn out explanation of the keys, and especially the expectation that we ought to be playing this with a sighted assistant, make me feel that you do not think particularly highly of us VI people. Are tutorials explaining in great detail where to find each key standard for mainstream games? From my experience, the answer is no. Indeed, many games have tutorials that are downright fun, such as the examples in this article:https://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/ZeinOkk … orials.phpI'm not saying that you have to spend quite as much effort on the tutorial as this. But maybe tone it down a bit, please? I promise that being visually impaired only means you can't see quite as well (or at all), and is not by it self a cause of any brain damage. For the most part, we are computer literate enough to know what the space key is; and those that are not should probably be learning how to use the computer with methods other than your game. Now, the gameplay. I must admit that I wandered around with seemingly no progress for a while, because of not paying enough attention during the info dump beginning. But even when I caught on, this game wasn't particularly fun. The humming sound you have to follow to reach the exit is quieter than the rest of the ambience, and not the easiest to center, especially when you're being chased. But that and the painfully slow walking speed are the only "challenges." The map randomizer doesn't really make any difference, since in the end the strategy is the same; go where you're told, or else (or even then) you'll be humping the wall a lot. There are certainly a lot of audio games that take the "listen to a sound, turn towards it and walk" approach. For example, the Papa Sangre games, which are unfortunately no longer available, but I can provide links to let's plays. Or A Blind Legend, which is free for phones but unfortunately paid for the PC. Or HEARtREAD and Bulwark  in the City of Flesh, both free, which were admittedly both made by another sighted developer just starting out with audio games. However, if you play or listen to any of these games, you'll notice that they've got much more going for them than just that, be it battles, mini games, sneaking around predators, unique ways of guiding, and in all cases, a pretty good story. I suppose your game does have an additional element, in a way, with the monster that chases the player. But, considering the slow walking speed and the fact that there is no way to check if the path ahead of you is clear than just walking and bumping into walls, avoiding that monster is just the case of doing what you've already been doing -- following the sound -- and hoping it works out. No strategy, no skill, not particularly fun.Lastly, just a few mixed complaints. Please reconsider your use of the escape key. It doesn't even matter if it's mentioned in the tutorial that you have to press it 5 times to exit the game. Even if I'd stuck around to hear that, I'd still not be OK with it. Escape pausing or closing the game is the common convention in games both audio and video. And if the map seed is important, would it not be better to give it its own key, like, say, S?Would it be possible to give this game screen reader or at least SAPI (text to speech) support? Currently you are using pre-recorded lines read by one of the worst TTS voicess available, at what seems like an incredibly slow speed to most blind players, who set the rate of their TTS voices to as much as 100 % (and sometimes, with rate boost, even higher). That, along with the loading times for each recording, makes the menu feel slow and laggy, and definitely does no good for the tutorial either.OK, I really should stop now. I've pointed out several flaws, which I know doesn't feel all that motivational.I've tried to be constructive, though. I don't actually want to scare you off from developing alltogether. Your game does work, and is not without potential. And, once again, it is always

Re: Sandbox games for the blind

Well by that definition, i will still say that pokemon crystal clear is very much sandbox type of game. Pick a variety of starters, pick your starting continent, customize your character customize your vattle, victory, and pokemon center music, or play with it off, customize your bedroom with a big collection of trophies, furniture and intractable game consoles, tackle the gyms and trainers in any order. At its heart its still a pokemon game, but its very flexible on how you play.

Re: Sandbox games for the blind

Hello,@14: I have responded to your pm btw. Well, the development was infact stopped, due to problems with developing a procedural generation equal to thatone of Minecraft. Sadly, as I said in my private response, this is almost impossible to do without working sight, as you have a model, which you have no way to check and thus tune appropriately. It would require to have a good sighted experience with coherent noise functions to use them properly, which I sadly don't have. But I'm considering releasing at least what I've got already, so people can have at least some nostalgia, if not full-fledged play. I've already contacted my friend who used to test Blindcraft in times when it was actively developed, if he has the last version. If yes, it will probably get released, if not.. well, I will see after I get the response. Best regardsRastislav

You should be able to just move it back out of the corner. For instance, if it's stuck in the bottom right, click on it, make sure it's humming, then go hit the magnet/switch thing which would move it upward or to the left. That ought to work.
