Brutalities were, in fact, quite ridiculous, with random bodyparts flying everywhere (play with a sighted person and hear them play count-the-ribcages), but only bones more or less; the blood and guts apparently all dissolved in that character-sized blob of red explosion, rather than also splattering the whole arena.Also, my 5-year-old sister got really close to doing a brutality by accident the first time she played the game. There are two parts to brutalities; the screen goes dark and it plays the music, but you still have to finish the combo for the opponent to actually explode. She got the transition effects, then stopped. Which seems reasonable, considering that Fatalities normally continue on their own at that point (unless you're MK2 Sub-zero).Idk, maybe my sister was just a MK3 prodigy.Anyway, my interest in mainstream games fell off a cliff around the time that "realistic" (read: grey-and-brown everything FPSes) became the industry standard, and the cinematic stuff doesn't really help so much. And then I watch some footage on Youtube or whereever, and am generally even less interested afterward. Having some degree of scenes to connect things, explain things, or tell a story is not so bad. But what amounts to walking between scenes and occasionally shooting a few things to get a cutscene ... I mean, why? That's not a game; that's an SCS campaign. Make the gameplay part worthwhile, otherwise I'll just watch a letsplay. ... I wonder how long before Youtube bans letsplays because the developers are losing money on people just watching rather than playing "press x for the next scene"?But crap, if an Audio Drama with FPS elements is how you make money off games, then ... huh, come to think of it, it's weird that this is not a thing around here. I'd sort of expected it would be the obvious way to get "successful". Maybe there is something resembling hope after all. ... Or maybe we're too poor / few for even that to be worth the trouble, and/or nobody cares enough to have tried.

Hmm I 'm not sure about games in which gameplay is based on map. This kind of game is hard to be accessible, but we will see. Skline says that stelars is easiest to play because you do not need to interact with system map.

@khomus, in many of those occasions, the point is less the individual moments, than the journey in general, though this is also why I tend to prefer the romantic period to the classical, since something like Rakmananinof's piano concerto goes to much darker and more extreme places than a lot of the classical period stuff did, like the Von webber you linked to, meaning that when your following along with the journey your less "why did you do that Can't we have that great tune back you were playing a minute ago??" and more "Oh god! this things going all the way to hell!"Vaughn williams six symphony is one of the nastiest things I've ever heard, since it was written in 1948, and is basically a hymn to the horrors of the second world war. I heard the hole thing in  concert in 19, and yee gods I was on the edge of my seat for most of it wondering where things would go, since while it was eclectic, the hole thing's effect was a nightmare journey. If you want something more melodic, I'd suggest having a look at some of the more modern composers, who have gone back from atonalism and are now doing much more simple, melodic stuff, Ludavico Ionaudi, Karl Jenkins or Debby Wiseman are all great if you want to just stick something on that sounds good. For example check This out, a piece of Ionaudi's that just plane is nice to listen to, and also rather tragic.

Okay, I think I understand the problem you're having.If you purchased Stellaris as you mentioned in another thread, you need to set it to Borderless mode, not full-screen. NVDA OCR doesn't seem to like full screen mode for some reason.You can do that in the game launcher.

nvda ocr in games

Hello all, today i purchase main stream game which i want to try to play with nvda addon nvda ocr. i run a game and nvda says to me: landscape. After that the music of the game starts. Because i played this game with my friend i know that for first time runing the game, game must loading. I hear music and press nvda+r to doing ocr. I hear running ocr, and after several second i hear that done. After that i try to navigating by using nvda button and arrows, but ocr is doing in all aplications and opened windows currently on my computer. I try to press alt +enter to set a game to full screen but again i have that problem. I try that with windows +up arrow but not help. Also im confused, i have latest nvda and in settings i have any windows 10 ocr, instead of this i download nvda addon nvda ocr. Which addon i use when i press nvda + r? And too how to only doing ocr in to windows of these game? not whole screen

Hi.I am trying to start my adventure in sl by using radegast.I dont understand what some obects means.I am trying to find a places like shoping or something.I have found in the virtual ability island somethink like shopping mall.After teleportation I have browsed my list of available obiect and I have somethink which is called bistro ice cream cube owned by someone.I think that this is a cube with ice cream, but the problem is that I can not take this, purchase this.I am niticing that some obiects have really strange names.I dont understand what it is.I dont know where and how I can purchase somethink like clothes or fishing pole in order to start fishing.I have thought that if I will find a shopping mall I will find somethink for sale, but I am stuck.

My seeing friend and I found the problem.Apparently the problem is in the audio that is lagging and with these locks, not the graphics and the commands.Even changing the sample rate of the game made no difference, my sound card drivers are up to date.What can I do?

I'd probably go with a 32-cell at most. Something that's about a sheet of paper width-wize for me. 20 cells just doesn't cut it personally. When I read Braille, I like to read a lot of very formatted text, so I don't want to waste 2 or 3 cells each for start and end format markings.

45, single language isn't a normal version of windowes. Its a barebones version only sold in developing countries. Uninstall it, switch to home. If you have 7 or 8.1 lisences, you can put the keys in and will convert to 10.

Milos,I used NVDA OCR, though I know the add-on works with it as well. I just never could be bothered trying to set it up.Hearts of Iron IV is probably not going to work as well, because it has parts of the UI which require you to drag and drop on the map, and draw things like battle plans for your armies. I never had much luck with it, but it's admittedly the one I tried to work with least.My order of experience for these games is Stellaris, EU4/CK3, and HOI4/Vic2/all the other Paradox games.I've been trying to get them to look into screen reader accessibility for years. Given how many tooltips the games use, it's definitely possible.At one point, I had a contact with one of the developers behind EU4, who was going to look into integrating proper screen reader support, but we lost touch and it never really went anywhere.

Hey,I've had luck playing EU4, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings using a combination of OCR and Golden Cursor bookmarks. It's difficult, but can be done, though the map is the worst part of most of these games. Stellaris is probably easiest, just because you don't need to interact on the star system map a lot, but it still requires patience and the bookmarks have to match your screen resolution, which is tedious.

@14, I definitely hear that loud and clear. And I gotta say I'm also in that camp. And maybe that's why, in terms of modern games even though I can't play them, I enjoy the Yakuza franchise so much. The story and everything is set, and even the side quests that are kind of more slice of life substories apart from the main drama of the Japanese underworld, the scenarios are so laughable but so well written one can't help but enjoy them. IS the writing and dialogue for the main story also movie quality? You bet it is. A famous Japanese novelist was actually on board to write some of the stories for the games. And they also tickle your mind and make you think about certain issues. But the way they're presented, while also high quality and with hours of cutscenes, still doesn't have that theatre and movie feel that western games have. The same could be said of games like 13 Sentinels or any other big title from Japan. I'm definitely not the type of gamer who wants to play through a movie, either. And gamelike is a good word! I also think the example of the way brutalities were in MK 3 is a good one, because unfortunately, rather than funny or spectacular, I get the feeling most people would now simply call them unrealistic and dumb. I think what gamers want will always be a little of both, and there wil always be people in each camp.

I find most classical music way too hyperactive. As somebody whom I can't remember put it, classical music is where you listen in expectation that a tune will break out. A lot of it just feels to me like the composer is thinking, "OMG I had a coherent little melody going for five seconds, time to change lest everybody get bored"! As an example, I really like the clarinet in this, but you only have to listen to the first minute or so to hear it jump around all over the damn place. Here's a post I made on Facebook about it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN8O_LIpSlwOK, so we have this intro or prelude or whatever fancy term from the strings. Then the clarinet starts up. Ooo, we've got a little tune kind of thing! Then the strings do this "dum dum dum" thing. Then the clarinet starts doing something else. Then it starts doing something else faster. That's in like the first minute or less and I feel like I should bust out a stopwatch and time the sections, because they feel like they last all of five seconds.Seriously, were these people all high on meth or something? This is what it feels like to me, translated into conversation. "Oh yeah, we met at college last week right? (SQUIRREL!) No, that's a terrible vintage of wine, you really want (SQUIRREL!) Have you heard about the Lord Jesus? (SQUIRREL!) What? I can't hear you, that jackhammer is really loud! (SQUIRREL!) No I don't think stock options are a good idea because (SQUIRREL!) OK, look at the diagram, that's a bisected angle right? (SQUIRREL!) Starfish are really creepy ..."You get the idea. I'm sorry, I'm listening to this, and it's good clarinet, and it's doing some things I like, but I'm just going, holy hell could you settle down for two minutes and actually *develop* something? Or at least let us get comfortable and settle into a thing and enjoy it a bit before you go tearing off and doing something completely and utterly different?

There really isn't an appreciable difference as far as the quality of the plugins is concerned, save for the fact that the 64 bit one should, in theory, be able to access more memory than the 32 bit ones. That's given that I don't really know anything about the VST spec, though. This was basically done because 32 bit anything is past its lifetime.

Hello,most of us in last time, plays a main stream games using nvda lion addon. All of these games is rpg or action genre. I'm interested does any try to play some strategy games on pc? I consider to try several titles but firstly i wish to hear for us which strategy have chances to be accessible or playable? to equip weapons, go to the main screen which is next to the items tab, though I think it is just labeled as standard or something, and then you go to  equipment. The game shop, the arena, and the gauntlets and events and such are also there.

Hi.I could possibly be going back to an IOS phone, therefore I would like to know if there are any good games, preferably with sounds and unlockables that are playable.I know of crafting kingdom, tank battle and the other one by the same company which I can't remember the name of, but it was a kingdom management game of sorts.Also does anyone know if galactic colonies has the same bugs as the android version?Many thanks.

hy guys!technically, you can install a variant of it on non-cromebook hardware, since its open source like android. I DK whether you'll have cromevox on it, or even if you do, I can't be sure you will have the google tts voices, so you'll have to install espeak with sighted assistance. I don't want to unintentionally spread missinformation here, so do take what I said above with a grain of sault.Btw, if you go this road of installing the opensource version of the os, be warned that not every feature available in the cromebooks will be by default integrated in your thing. Kind of what happens with installing the opensource version of android, without google APIs. For example, you won't be able to use the admin console, neither to use it your self, or to be controlled by it. This can be either a good or bad thing, depending how you're looking at it. Next, you can't run android or linux apps, like you could with the cromebooks. I DK more things off the top of my head, but I guess this would already make this only a fancy web browser spanning an entire OS. DK, it might be good for some people, but I never really liked the concept of crome OS and what it stands for.If you still want to install a variant of the crome OS with most features back and kind of like the same as on the cromebooks, look at cloudready's solution. They kind of reimplemented the missing features from the public build of crome OS, making them as similar to cromebooks as possible.Be ware, though, I never tested that, so you might not get cromevox installed on that, or, again even if you do, you might not have any tts included.Another option is to use the android emulator, it can emulate the crome OS too. Look at the avd(android virtual device manager) It should be in your android sdk, if not, check in the sdk manager, you might have forgotten to install the package with the emulator. If the command line doesn't work, I am afraid you will have to use an ide like android studio or vs with xamarin tools, which is a pain in the but for anyone who doesn't do programming in android land.

I tried demo and after that i make decision to purchase it, and my opinion about this game is: untold rpg is the best game which i played on android device. I hope in sequel game developer add more content of the open world, maybe several classes and skills.

top 10 worst bosses to fight in audio games.warning, this list has bosses that are eigher annoying as hell, hard to beat, or just make you want to bash your computer till it explodes.at number 10 we have...octoross in manamon 1.allright, oktoross what could it be? a normal manamon ba... no! it's actually a team that is over 6 mons if i'm remembering correctly, and him spamming medical miracles.that. fight. is. annoying, as it's annoying that fight with sacraloon of mathew. *had to put those 2 together.at number 9 we have...is that a paladin? does it have of and the and sky in its name? it sure does! hey there pierre...this fight is... tough if you skrew it over. yes there's strategies, like throw them all out and keep shauna, or keep kelly ross and shauna for defencs... you name them. but if you don't know what the fuck you're doing you can rage easily here.at number 8 we have...is that the drake of... entombed! ofcourse it is. who else if not?the drake is, in a word, frustrating at least, and fury causing at most. multi hit moves, crazy ass damage, and a fucking tank, that thing isn't a dragon, it's a dam t34 for the defences it has. lightning? o no boy, you're not using that.how about fire... woopsy, it's fire so no. then the surge scroll... but whait, it's going to do no damage.get ready for load and save, cause this big guy is going to make you ragequit ones at least.at number 7.hades, in the gate. allright, hades. he has a dog, wich can poison you, set you on fire with a one shotting fireball, and give you the zombie poison so fery nice. he's going to spawn priests wich are going to heal him, he's going to throw various stuf at you, spawn monsters, put down a hole in the middle of the stages, and he can also toss you around like a bag of popcorn... what could go wrong?oh, did i forget to mention the huge amount of health... o yes i did... but watch the good part of it, then ending of the game is... well... no spoilers.and on position 6 with a rage quit meter blown up we have...bk3 and it's lovely herm... final boss? or not...stage 25 4. cause then there's 25 5, well, if you get to that stage, you would expect to blow up the thing, and the game is... not. over.cause after that boss that was well... just a little annoying of course, all the attacks it can do are an example, you have to take out not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 other things. well... the crystal doesn't count but still.ugh! and good luck on not rage quitting this one.in top 5 we start with...the all mighty, skary, and plot twister... lord adrianus.lord, adrianus? yes. first of all, he can zap your whole party. he can curse you, he can drain your mana and health, and... as a cherry on the cake he revives your fallen party members... o thanks you would say... not if that fallen memter is on his side now, and not if that fallen member is your main char wich is the most o p tank you have.but yeah, have fun taking out this 4 guards and adrianus battle party.in position 4. only for the annoyance...the dam second kopter in b k 2. it spawns stuf, it breaks the ground, it launches missiles. that's all you need to know to take down this big guy as fast as you can. if you don't?well... good luck fighting that swarm of devils or whatever they're called.oh, also. did i mention that it spawns launchers too? probably not...and starting the top 3 we have...if your party isn't that good, the entombed boss on the floor 20 something, if you choose the ogher's paradice. yeah, those 4 friendly trolls.say do you like a huge great axe that does extreme damage allmost all the time? then fight those 4 friendly dudes wich have the possibility of using flurry with that weapon,  they can use lightning, and if i'm not mistaking one of them can use sneak attack, just to be more damaging.and at position 2.we couldn't not place the boss of world of war.a space infader... at position 2?yes. worldd of war. first fase. bombs falling around, and you having to understand that it's shoot the beepy thing till it explodes.fase 2. avoid all the stuf ranging from shotgund, to the thing teleporting, to the thing using a minigun, to the thing using a huge laser... you got it. survive all of that and then you beat up the boss.and finally, the master of ragequit makers, the allmighty son of a bitch that you want to throw in a pit of hell and torture for the rest of its computer existence...the dam, annoying, piece of crap. lich. yes, entombed againfirst a princess, with 4 not at all damaging cristalls. then. boomlich. ray of destruction, wich does over extreme damage, rotting ash wich basically gives you zombie rot, have fun with potions, and unholy light. yes, this thing is not at all a tank and a son of a bitch to take out.but if you do... you eskaped the dungeon!what do you think of this top 10?if you want more, visit us on youtube at audio mojo dot... o whait, nevermind, there's no audio mojo

Hello all,Just letting you know that a couple more Hostedgames titles have been released.The first one I believe is called "Relics war" or something with relics. It is a swashbuckling 1930s adventure in the vein of indiana jones. The Nazis are seeking six incredibly powerful artifacts all over the world that could tip the scales in the upcoming war if you don't stop them. You have to get to the six artifacts before they do.The other is "Brothers' war" where you play in pre-Christian Ireland as the disgraced son of a Irish Chieftain as the vikings and other thereats invade the land. You have to figure out how to regain your honor, join the vikings, or seize or earn the throne of your clan. It is described as a historical-fantasy game so there might be supernatural aspects to it.Just thought I'd let you guys know of these new releases.

I'm always happy to see how things can go with different warsim features@Caio, That would be cool, perhaps the game world would generate in a world where instead of mana it's blood magic, or infinitely powerful individuals, or magic staffs that recharge in sacred trees@Jayjay, Naval Warfare's another oen that would be great. Will have to make a Warsim napoleonic period/WW1 mod for you haha And thanks for the kind words mate, much appreciatedI've got the refugee system at the moment where some kingdoms when destroyed form refugee camps you can find in the diplomacy screen but as of yet nothing on migrants.@Niklas, Cheers for the kind words mate. I saw someone with over 1000 hours playtime on steam but I think personally for exploring the game minus playing again for randomly generated stuff, between 15-30 hours maybe. Really hard to call, there are lots of systems and features that aren't available everytime you play and are set by random generation such asMilitia leaders, state of the arena, state of darkdale, state of the blackmarket, enemy kingdom relations, independent factions and the features and situations they unlock and can do, unit prices and changes, etcI've personally played 1000s of hours via testing and it's certainly lost it's replayability for me mostly but sometimes when playing I like to go to certain areas like Goblinwood for the jamboree, or the gnome village for the insults and stuff, snail racing etc.

Hi:The tutorial just gives you a rough idea of how to play the rhythm mini-games; the games themselves require you to learn the piece being played, same as if you were learning a new song you had to play. I don't really see anything wrong with this, but then I'm not really a rhythm game  player. Incidentally, there's a topic devoted to stuff like this in general game discussions. Perhaps we should leave this topic for actual bugs and  game updates if they ever appear.
