hi, So i were thinking about this for a while, And now i really started thinking about how will i start, Are they any good resources? I mean sure, There's the appel website, But are they anythings other that i should know? For example about using xcode with Voiceover? Or something? Here are some initial findings, now that I've gotten the beta online.- menus don't wrap if you hold the direction on the dpad.- similar to most other games lately, menu items and character names are read aloud when clicked on- The online lobby is a 2d area where you can move from left to right, where all the players and services are. But apparently, l2 will open a shortcut menu which I haven't explored.- r1, I believe, toggles your availability. When available, you will hold your weapon up and players can approach and challenge you.- gameplay itself is awesome, definitely slower than past guilty gear games.- the stereo field is awesome, and the soundtrack and updated sound design is absolutely badass.- so far, no signs of an English dub, as I didn't find anything in the options menu- everything OCR's quite well. The online lobby first time tutorial can be read entirely with it, and it gives some helpful information.Definitely probably going to getthe game, though I wish I could have a movelist for the beta handy. Wondering if ps5 users will have some perks that ps4 users won't, since the screen reader now reads more, though it doesn't appear to be so, based on what I've seen on the ps4. Nothing seems to use the native ps4 interface. Excited!

None that I know of. Currently I am trying to mobilize as many sighted and visually impaired people as I can to write to Wizards of the Coast and ask for accessibility for screen readers in MtG Arena. Maybe it never happens, maybe it takes five years like netflix's audiodescription did, but we gotta start by trying. Until then, I'm dealing with Forge, it's not easy to use but it's playable.

most of the android phones are accessible by default, though once I came across this vivo phone. they had the CAPTCHA thing on the accessibility settings, so whenever you visit there, you get to solve the annoying CAPTCHA, they even had random unlabeled buttons on everywhere.

@163, when you launch the client, it'll prompt you to download the sounds, when you hit yes, it'll start downloading the sounds. just in case if you don't have the stable internet connection, you could cancel it and it'll resume from there the next time you download them.

Googling, Xiaomi apparently runs Android. So unless they've done something to break it or have their own weird install, you should have Talkback by default, which means it should be as accessible as any other phone running Android, I should think.

It's not so bad. I was just wondering if anyone had figured out tricks to it. The good thing is that kaiju will always make their way towards the terminal, so if you don't move from your starting position, all you have to do is wait. I use times like those to fortify my defenses and charge EP. Destruction is still my favourite part of the game, even with this.

Fortunately, they will always come to you if you don't move, so it becomes more a matter of waiting than anything else. And it's a good excuse to always keep sentinels in defense mode and charging EP.

45,This is the problem with the game in my experience. Some of the weapons you have access to are very short-ranged, but we have no obvious way to figure out where the kaiju are. They are obviously still on the map, but hunting them down becomes an exercise in tedium.I've experienced this many times and it's one of the reasons I don't care for destruction mode.

You use ... I want to say ReaperCast? You put it on a track, I think I put mine on master, and then you have to set a source for ReaperCast left and right in OBS, I think. It's not really hard at all, I just don't remember it exactly. So it would be nice to have some place where my dumb lazy ass can go look it up if I need it.

If you have your email address set to something bogus, please correct that presently by typing /emailset . Verification will be performed by the server emailing you a verification code, and then you entering that code into a prompt the server gives you. This is being done because along with this update comes the password reset functionality, and further automation is possible in the future.

I really loved the descriptions in solara, the fact the devs took time to even describe what the shops and such you built around your tower looked like, not to mention how they made a very spacial building system accessible and even took the time to describe character costumes, I've rarely seen that sort of dedication to access in a game!Sadly nothing like it as far as I know.

Deciding to get back to the game (there seems to be a newer version than the last time I checked), I can't but admire everything it offers given I'm a fan of simulation games, although the game freezes forever in a loading loop before presenting me with the logo which I can't skip too.In fact, I suggest limiting the number of advertizing posters one can put per day to make things more realistic, especially in stormy days. You know, putting 200 to 300 posters in one single day are beyond the abilities of the strongest and most agile man on Earth, let alone a 10-year-old kid. By the way, such a number of posters can be easily bought if you're a good salesman and lemonade maker, with THE right ingredients always the same (5 lemons and 3 cups of sugar a gallon) with the right price or even a much higher one in crouded events, which brings me to the next point: having daily events is a cool thing in itself, but you should put some cooldown time between each of them or at least make them somewhat more reasonable occurrence-wise.Anyway, I really loved the game as it shows to what extent a simulator can be fun and amazing with the right coding mind which I'm sure you already possess.BTW, I'm really looking forward to that quiz game of yours (hopefully it gets released soon) as we still haven't had any serious game of the sort; I do remember a similar French TV competition we used to watch years ago which totally matches the description on your website so I can't wait to try it out as a game. Keep up the amazing work!

If you didn't cover these yet, they'd be helpful.1. Streaming to OBS from a DAW, I personally use Reaper and it was written up somewhere, and I did it once, but I didn't save the setup because I'm dumb, and I have no idea where it was written up. Here somewhere, the Reaper list, somewhere or other.2. Some more on sources, e.g. I think some people stream specific games by picking them as a source, but that's about all I know, I don't know how to do it or anything. Also I'm not sure if that covers everything, like audio and video and speech if it's an audio game. So for instance, say a game has sounds of its own but uses NVDA as speech, if you needed to add NVDA as another source if you wanted it heard, that would be useful to know.

Yeah, what nine said. I sort of assumed you had audio set up already. For me when I insert an instrument, I can just hit keys and it all works, I don't have to mess with any settings. I'm pretty sure I've got defaults other than enabling midi and audio devices. I also don't know what you mean when you say you "hit keys", on a midi keyboard, or are you using the virtual keyboard in Reaper and hitting keyboard keys?

Here's my tip. You say when you're relaxed, you can find where you need to be at. You also say you'd be fine with a lot more stuff being unscripted if you're doing a let's play. So do that and be you.I think scripting really gets in people's way. IMO you see this with people all the time who do stuff like this, they feel they need to be something, you know like a kind of character. Some people can really pull that off, and other people can't.I also think though that you just need to try stuff. Maybe that's just busting out with videos or audio or whatever, maybe that's beta testing it among people you trust, either because you know them or they're people who you feel are giving good feedback. I look at it like learning a song. You start, and you play three notes, then you get it wrong. You do that again. People get frustrated and that's understandable. But that's just how learning songs works, you fail a bunch of times. Or if you don't like failing, let's say it's a simple enough song that you have it in your head, maybe you're trying to add an ornament to it, and that comes out wrong. The only way to stop doing that is to do the song a bunch more.  Put another way and more simply, suppose you want to be a potter and you want to make pots. The way to get good at making pots is to make a whole lot of not good pots. Just do it. Yeah, try and learn, read stuff or watch videos or whatever. But at some point, you gotta make pots. And those pots will not be great. But that's OK, because you're teaching yourself to do a whole new thing.I say if you're the kind of person who makes super crazy detailed game walkthroughs, good. Make those. You do you. I'm not saying you don't take feedback or anything. But I'm saying that if you have somebody like Cheese Wheel up there who just wants short and simple? They're probably not the audience for your stuff, and you shouldn't try to change who you are to please them. Not that GCW was at all saying you should, I'm just using that as an example ready to hand. If super detailed actually helps you, if it's what you want and wished more people did? Do it. Maybe I'm just weird though. I do music, with weird instruments. Every time somebody tells me they like it, usually opening with "oh my grandfather played one of those!", I'm always a little baffled, because I'm just playing what I like you know? It's cool that people like it, and I mean in a way I want them to, but I'm not doing surveys or anything and going "what do the people want to hear"! I'm just doing what I do and following my own interests.

Hi Brian,It’s a tough call as to which option is best, on one hand getting to grips with Sable is definitely a good idea  before jumping right in and converting your novel into a game, but it’s also important to be working on a project that you are really excited and passionate about too. Even though Sable removes the coding aspect of creating your RPG, there is still a lot of work that needs to go into making a good game. As well as a compelling story, a good understanding of game design and structuring your game well  is definitely a requirement to make a game truly enjoyable. Sable gives you the tools to create your own RPG, although it’s not about just using those tools, instead it’s about thinking outside the box as to how to best utilise those tools and truly get the most out of Sable.  You briefly mentioned it in your previous post, but another factor people need to be aware about is getting balance right in their games. Good Balance in an RPG is critical and can be difficult getting it just right, again it takes good game design and structure to get right. a basic understanding of RPG style statistics is definitely helpful here, along with a lot of pre planning  and thought about design work in order to get it right. It sounds like you’ve got a good knowledge of RPG’s, as you’ve previously mentioned various main stream games and given detailed explanations, so I think that will come in really handy when you go to create your game, for both an understanding of stats, but also what works and what doesn’t work in a good RPG. So I guess it really comes  down to what you want your first project to be, but definitely when Sable is finally released it would be worth spending a little time getting to grips with it, as the better you understand it and all its tools, the more creative you can begin to be with those tools  and the better you can design and structure your game. I do appreciate, that without having the engine in front of you its difficult to plan some of the finer details of game design for your project, I just apologise that Sable has taken so long, but hopefully both Crimson Eclipse and Sable will be worth the wait once they are finally released, providing between now and then I don’t drink myself to death on tea trying to get both projects released hahahaPaul Lemm

To address the autism spectrum thing:First off, I have no diagnostic authority whatsoever, so let's be clear on that. But with that out of the way...yes, you tick some of the boxes for me.First up: you're detail-oriented. This is a hallmark of Asperger's Syndrome, among many others. Again, not a bad thing, it's just a thing. You like details; they're important to you. It might be more appropriate to say that you like structure. If you go back and reread some of the posts you've made, you'll see something of a pattern I've noticed. When things buck a trend, when they don't go the way you expect, you seem to get a bit flustered, and seem to feel the need to recalculate to a fairly extensive degree. This is not neurotypical behaviour. Oh, everyone has it a little from time to time, but for you, I'd argue that it's a defining characteristic more than it isn't. That's the first big point.Second, you like to plan for contingencies. Again, everyone does this to some extent. But the very existence of this topic sort of proves my point here. You are risk-averse enough that you would rather have a plan for everything than fly blind, as it were. And based on other threads you've made, I think this is because you don't fully trust your immediate emotional assessments of the world around you as it evolves. This is another trademark of high-functioning autism (and I do mean high-functioning here, since you are aware of it and are actively trying to take steps to help yourself). Your emotional connection to people, and the things they think and perceive, is just slightly out of sync. My biggest clue, actually, came from hearing you discuss the people around you and how they might or might not react if you voted, and went against Donald Trump. These are people you live with and are close to, but you were not only unsure of how they'd treat your decision to vote freely, but you were concerned more about that than you were about voting your conscience. Now, I'm not here to weaponize whatever actual choice you made at the time, regardless of what it was. I'm simply saying that you seem to seek more emotional guidance than a neurotypical person would, which is a common facet of high-functioning autism.Here are a few statements to analyze. I don't need answers, obviously, but see how many of these resonate with you. The more that do, the more likely it is that you are neurodivergent.1. I have very specific, sometimes niche interests, and like to enjoy them and/or discuss them at great length.2. I have sometimes been criticized for the lengths at which I will discuss things.3. I have sometimes been criticized for failing to read social cues, especially where they pertain to conversation.4. I have sometimes been characterized as aloof, cold, "overly rational" or unemotional.5. I sometimes find myself wondering why people react so emotionally, when a little common sense might solve a problem.6. I often find myself at a distance from people - the things they talk about, the things they enjoy, the groups they create - and I honestly do not fully understand why.7. I become uncomfortable if people attempt to touch me when I do not expect it. I generally do not appreciate it when people invade my personal space.8. I can become overwhelmed by too much stimulation (sound, touch, smell, even taste). This will either cause me to lash out or withdraw, depending on my temperament at the time.9. Even supposedly everyday environments can seem overwhelming to me sometimes.10. I am a private, shy or reserved person, who will feel uncomfortable if someone attempts to forcibly draw me out of my shell.Now, obviously, this isn't an absolutely definitive checklist, but if you find yourself agreeing with a lot of these, you're probably neurodivergent. For context, two or three of these apply to me, but I have never tested as being on the spectrum; most do not apply to me at all, and those which do are not definitive of my overall life experience.And to the guide? Bring it on, warts and all. I don't care how it looks. Toss it to me whenever you're ready. Maybe host a dropbox link or something, especially if it's longer than my Manamon walkthrough.

hi,first what a really good story line you've made i enjoyed it very much on that level however it took me a while to work out what was missing. i was listening to Liam review this on his channel and he pritty much spoke my thoughts which were.the fact of tabbing and shift tabbing as it doesn't work in steam and some prefering using the arrow keys.there needs to be proper menus which has been said already.i really don't like the way speech is it's to slow and myself would prefer a bit more enthusiasm or just let screen readers read it.the inventory is showing stuff, but really you should be able to interacte e.g. drink blood vial.you shouldn't have to go back to pick something up really i would prefer to pick it up straight away and connect things together myself it makes it more interesting for people like me.if you have missed examing something in the dcastle you should be able to go back.apart from all of these you've done a great job and even if some of these ideas don't get implemented then i'm sure you'll think of putting it in the next game you develop.anyway good luck and i'll look forward to the full release as well as your future releases.

Strange problem when trying to play slay the spire.

Hi guys.So, I have slay the spire, text the spire, communications mod, base mod, mod the spire and read the spire installed, and I am able to get up to where it allows me to choose a difficulty. However, as soon as I pick standard, the game will crash. Sometimes it will play the beginning of what I assume is a card drawing sound before it crashes, but the result is still the same.I did install java, and I don't think that would be the problem as the mod seems to work fine.I've tried running as administrator, but no dice.Please help?

Definitely. One thing I was thinking is what if there were flying creatures, because everything seems to be on the ground. Or animals that may not let you get too close to them at first, but if you stay with them long enough, they may get curious and let you ride them.I've been using it to fall asleep to actualy. I'l. go to an interesting place and just stop and listen until I drop off.This new thing sounds like it could do that and more.

There's no need to port this to Python. There is already a library in Python with the same name of this library that supports many more maze generation algorithms than this one. It requires NumPy, though, but that shouldn't be much of a problem.

@15 We actually did pretty alright. My apartment lost power but my girlfriend's didn't. She uses a wheelchair and her attendant coverage was a bit spotty, so I stayed over to take care of her and got to use her power and hot water. So the crash at the standard mode character select screen is a text the spire specific issue since it happens also when say the spire is disabled. Someone has also already created a GitHub issue about it.About unlocking the watcher. What I have read says that you only need to have the other 3 characters unlocked and then beat the game with one of them to unlock watcher. And I assume that achievement enabler has to be active when you do get that win.

I'm glad the demo is an improvement. It sounds promising. There will still be a lot of tweaks at this stage. Both bear and plant bosses will be optimised.I like the tab idea to show stats during a duel. You can get descriptions and more detail about the spells from the spell upgrade menu. But you wont have heard them if you started with the spell. I also need to add a way to tell you your hp. And have the health value speak whenever you take damage. I forgot to do that for the demo.Regarding the equipment. A feature that will be introduced into the game is the ability to analyse your next opponent. For a price. More money means more detail. This will reveal their strengths and weaknesses so you can build your stats and equip spells and gear that are suitable. I'll look at the bugs you guys have spotted. Im glad they are only minor ones. Doesnt sound like too many have slipped through the net.I do also need to roll out the skip feature to more areas of the game.Does anyone else feel the same about the river game? I manage it OK but its never accurate when you test the difficulty of your own game

In This topic, there was a major discussion of Dragonrealms and what actually needed paying for, as well as features of the game, but I can't confirm since the info on their website was contradictory and I never got around to trying the game myself. For actual browser games played in the browser, I've been more into single player incrementals these days, though deodeck is a current favourite, and there are some others I want to explore more such as lioden. I should also get back to mythic reign, since for a combat smasher it really had a lot of possibilities, although the game that has mostly taken my attention thus far is Erion.

I'm pleased about the sustained interest in this! I've fallen really behind with maintaining it due to work-life balance and newer projects. The to-do list is way too long: refactoring everything to the new engine, improving adventure mode, and countless revisions and wishlist items. All of that is necessary and important. I'm mostly exhausted and distracted.I don't want to think of this project as a failure. It represents a very specific period in my life. If anything, it's one of the stepping stones toward something more exciting for me. Here we have infinitely generated worlds with objects that live in it. In other games I've experimented with vehicle physics, navigating in three dimensions, and collisions. I'm toying with a few other prototypes that you might get to play.The main idea is: I want to combine these components into a new game, a mixture of soundStrider and S.E.A., where you can explore an alien exoplanet on foot, or with an amphibious vehicle you can mount any time, with the goal of cataloging its flora and fauna into an audio codex. My goal is to wrap everything up (with S.E.A. mainly) so I can get started. I expect it to be a much longer project than the others. Let me know if that's exciting for you too!

I just started a fresh playthrough, because I don't want to jump back in in the middle of things as the plot is so complicated. What are peoples' solutions for targetting? Sometimes enemies just don't show up on anyone's radar, and I'm wondering if it's because I don't understand the targetting cursor movement and how it works? Moving sentinels to different locations doesn't help either. Wondering if anyone has a trick I don't know about yet. Good example is in the prologue battle with Amiguchi, Goto and Takamiya, wave 6. After a while, kaiju just seem to stop showing up. This is after the first wave of enemies is taken care of.

I'm in a server that a friend of mine runs, which is mostly dedicated to her Twitch fanbase and other projects she's a part of.The bot we primarily use is Tupperbox. Tupperbot is a bot dedicated to replacing user messages to emulate having multiple accounts.This bot has its multiple uses, including the most obvious being for role-playing. In the server I'm in, we like to RP as characters from games she's played on her channel (mostly visual novels). In the case of my friend, she also uses it for acting out potential scenes for visual novels, as she is also a fellow VN dev herself.You do have to set up the characters, or Tuppers as they're called, but once you've gone through that step, you're all set.The best part is that Tuppers are universal, so as long as server B has Tupperbox in it, you can use your Tuppers from Server A, and vice-versa.

I can upload this game, but the problem can be with updates, because this game is frequently updated and patches are uploaded on qq group.I am not playing this game any more because of frequent lags, so I dont have time to upload every patch from qq group.I have tried to contact this developer and request him about auto update but I dont know what he willd do with this.

The beta is live, but there seem to be connectivity issues. I haven't been able to get the game to start yet. I keep getting a message that says "Failed to download R-Code."The game does have stereo, and while it moves fast, it's not nearly as fast as Guilty Gear games have been in the past.

Regarding the bear, the way I thought you had to do it was to wait for it to finish the charge then cast just before the attack starts. It would do its attack then it would walk into range of the spell when it was charging back out again and get hit. That's how I did it with air magic, the other elements might have the wrong timing. I agree with the plant boss though, I kind of just aimed for the middle of where the slower projectiles were coming from, spammed gust and hoped.I think the problem with the wall sound is that it seems to restart the sound every time your position changes so you get a painful grating effect. Overall though navigation is much better. The rapids minigame is kind of annoying navigation wise though, the obstacles seem to be very wide so it can be impossible to dodge some pairs of them.Also some of the dialogue seems to be unskippable, including the quest dialogue and the job prompts (for example you have to listen to the entirety of the overtime prompt every time). There also seems to be a bug with the menu scrolling sound, for me it only plays when going down through a menu, not up.Overall this demo is definitely an improvement and I'm looking forward to this game.

@ambiramus Achievement Enabler, when activated, allows you to get achievements. You'll probably have to re-earn the ones you should have received before (so in terms of unlocking the fourth character, sorry you probably have to beat the game as the other three again). Sorry for the inconvenience, I thought I put the fact you needed Achievement Enabler in the readme but apparently it's not there. I'll fix this for the next beta which is coming soon.@thetasigma Can you please post the log even if you resolve the issue? I may be able to fix it even if it is a mod conflict.
