Please do also stop posting multiple times in a row. There is a beautiful edit function to edit your posts, why not taking advantage of that? As for the Windows version, I am looking forward to seeing it in the future; during the course of the next few months, I will be probably too busy anyway, so please do take your time, no matter how long it will take you! The ideas you shared with us are just awesome; maybe you can also add bicycles as well. But I can understand how much effort it takes to actually transfer all the ideas into real code, so I am not going to push you to get things done right away.

Hello folks,Currently I am not able to change my system language to English, so currentlsy I can't use IYP. Therefore, I think it's time to at least test FSNav a bit. What is that PMSounds you were talking about earlier, and where to get it? I heard of project magenta, this would be priced at 49 Euros. Is that the addon you were talking about?

Re: Problem with fs2004 and ils landing.

Greetings,You should first select your preferred aircraft, the start Airport and the weather. If you know how to do it (I don't know if it works properly for blind users) you can set date and time using the calendar. If you are in the flight plan menu, again select your origin Destination, followed by your preferred final Destination. It's best if you use IYP as a blind Person to select IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) with direct GPS selected in the fourth step. At last, click on "plot flight plan". You should tab through all the unlabled Buttons until the edit box where you canchange the cruising altitude, depending on the aircraft.IYP changes the frequencies automatically if you tell him to "contact next Controller", once instructed to contact the next Controller. Also, if you use simple ATC plus, just press 1 to confirm the given instructions and if you Need to Change the frequency, just press 1 a couple of times until you hear the P
ilot contacting the next Controller.Hope this helps.IYP should also be able to do flight following announcements, but it doesn't give me any flight following announcements throughout my flights. I activated them, but even the "Make a flight following announcement" command doesn't do it's Job. Any Suggestions on that?

Re: Problem with fs2004 and ils landing.

Hi,I use it's your plane, a module for FS2002, FS2004 and FSX where you can control the aircrafts supported with your voice.IYP uses the Windows speech recognition, which works just great for me. Also, it uses SAPI to communicate with you. It's like you have a Copilot sitting next to you (we call them Mike or Michelle depending on the TTS we're using). At the beginning of each flight, you most likely tell your Copilot "Let's do all checklists", and he will go through all checklists with you. He'll ask you to turn on/off some of the instruments, you have to set com2 to 121.5, you can load ILS frequencies the Tower gave you, for example "Load the ILS Approach frequency for runway 4 right".The best Feature of IYP is the Blind Pilots Mode that you can activate/deactivate by saying "Blind Pilots Mode on/off". IYP will then do some extra stuff for you, such as taxiing to a preferred runway/gate, the Copilot wi
ll inform you about the altitude if ascending/descending every thousand feet, etc.In my opinion, IYP is worth the $42 for the Standard Version for 2004/fsx.FS2004 might be out of date, but still a lot of People are using it, installing extra addons, aircrafts, etc. Also you can Change the Display language of fs2004 without a problem. This is not possible in fsx. I have the german Version of fsx, so I cannot use it with IYP.

However, the Auto landing Feature doesn't work in the demo Version, and I never succeeded landing this Thing in the demo Version, until I bought the full Version, which I didn't regret. You only have to Change your System's language to English, if you haven't already. On win7, it works the best with Vistalizator. However, I would like to compare IYP with FSNavigator. What exactly was that PMSound you were discussing about and where to get it?Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,I just read the news and it was just shocking me! Sure, we have developers who abandon their games due to a couple of understandable facts and reasons I dont want to include here, but it is really sad to hear that a developer passes away. And I am happy that everybody who posted here will support Jims family and his productions.Jims games were one of the first English games I played. I started with the self-voicing games, such as Mach1, Golf and Pong in 2005, because they contained a pretty simple English, not too hard to understand, since my English at this time was not the best.In 2007, I started playing his SAPI5 games and I have been in touch with him via E-Mail in 2010, asking whether it is possible to translate his games into other languages, such as German. He didnt accept my proposal, because it would have been way to compl
icated doing that, due to the fact that he would have to completely change the source code and the text sapi would have had to speak.Anyway, his games really helped me learning English, since I started learning English by playing audiogames. Many games of different developers were the actual main reason for me, learning English in first place, so I could play games which contain more experienced English, with longer texts, cutsceens, etc. This does work, because if you know what the game is about, you will easily understand words, such as to colide, if you, for instance, have a learn game sounds option in the menu which explains the sounds played. That might have been no good example, but I think you got my point anyway. Now, as you can see, my English is very experienced, I speak very fluent and I got myself an accent which suits me the best, in order to get rid of that horrible German accent of mine! Now, I have a lot of friends scattered all over the place after attending the ICC-Camp with success, I am able to communicate with people who cant speak my language, just because I spent too much time at the computer playing audiogames! Thanks very much to you, Jim, for giving me that kind of kickstart in understanding and getting more experienced in English! I will definitely keep you in my mind!

I even thought of a real map, not side-scroller-based, where you could move forward/backward and left/right. For that, we have to set up this thing from the ground up again, and we already did so.This is, of course, no excuse. If I would have the required knowledge, I personally like to do it myself. I somehow want to get used to BGT, because I love the idea to code own audiogames.Unfortunately though, learning whatever scripting language takes time and concentration. I cant sit in the classroom during a lesson of English, German, Ethics or whatever, focusing on a scripting language tutorial.

Hello,To be honest, Kevin and me put the game aside for quite a while now.We planned working on it back in the end of 2011, but then we both, or at least I, had a lot of hard school weeks. Because of that, weve put the game aside. A few months later, we discussed about it for a while, but honestly we found the game concept too easy, some kind of childish as well. We were also out of ideas to increase the game concept somehow, but were out of ideas.Years passed, and since today, we didnt actually felt like continuing it. Sometimes, I would have even worked on it though, but I dont have that much coding knowledge to continue working on it on my own. Since it is Kevins code, I am only sharing it to those people whom I personally know and whom I trust, because we do not at all wanna see this code uploaded somewhere.Mission B has been a project when we were both in the same group of our boarding-school for two years. Now that we are scatt
ered across the place (Since August 2011), it is not that easy anymore to get together with our equipment, working on stuff. But as I already said, we put it aside until further notice. If anybody has some funny ideas which would increase the game concept (so you dont play through the game in 5 minutes and thats that), feel free to give us some ideas and we might consider about it. Those ideas should be good ones, which increase the replay-value, as well as some other interesting stuff. But I am not gonna prommis anything here, I am terribly busy at the moment, worrying more about in which kind of higher school I should change, than Mission B.Think about the fact that MissionB takes a few hundred megabytes of your space. Many people would think, because of the size, that it is a big game with a lot of functions, features etc. Dont fall for it, seriously it takes five minutes and youre done! A lot of complicated code for nothing imparticular, at lea
st in my opinion. Thanks for your support though, this gives me hope.

Re: silver dollar crack

And why the hell is it so important to get a cracked version of Silverdollar? I mean its priced at ridiculously $1,99. This goes also to all the other paid games, no matter on which operating system. But a pack of cigarettes for the tripple ammount of pricing does work, as well as a nice, tasty, bar of chocolate, huh? Also, companies like DracoEnt, L-Works, GMAGames, etc. are companies based on only a hand full of people, helping in development, as well as getting sound libraries, and all the other required stuff in order to finance those games. So if you dont wanna pay for any kind of game, you shouldnt play it. This shows the developer that you are not interested in ordering and playing this game.Of course, you may be interested in playing the game, but why wont you support this company then? Go and set up your own project and see how much you are able to finance, in order to have a cool project at the end. Its like TDV: some v
oice actors of course dont have the equipment we want them to have, but it sounds good anyway. So if you want real studio quality, the price for TDV would increase, due to financing the studio engineering work.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=175345#p175345
