I cannot confirm if this has been fixed but sadly this app was used by my self and i'm not happy with the restore pc option. in short you can backup a windows instelation by booting from the offline recovery disk the app provides. but when you rerstore a pc it does not boot by it self. you have to type in some commands to get the boot partition to work again. in my opinion this is not very user friendly.it also used to mess with your disk configuration back in the day.as I said, maybe this has been updated. but I cannot confirm that now.as far as I can remember they used to make 2 apps core recovery and winstaller. Has anyone experienced this? hello their, I am going to take the time to describe my experience with apples airpods in detail. so that if any 1 is wondering if they are any good. I can only provide a opinionated peace. to describe my truly beautiful experience I had with them. the first jen airpods. I got in I believe it was 2017.in the type of job I do. they are super nice to use because, I use them in 1 ear. at a time. pared up to a windows computer.I use bluetooth add on from NVDA to keep the connecction alive so that no clipping/drop out of audio happens.the battery lasted for the rated five hours.at times I had to also go out of the office. so, the airpods then did duty on the Iphone I had.again they did not let me down.sadly and obviously, due to the heavy usage I had put them through.after just 1 year, the battereys began to drop to 3 hours lasting time.because I was also using them at home. so in 2018 I was fortunate enough to buy a second pare. that was only used for work. so the first pare got used just for home.the second pare was still the first jen.I was lucky enough for me to be gifted that pare.The exact same beautiful experience.no battery loss.however, I did encounter the issue many users on the internet described. when the iphone bluetooth is on. and airpods are in charging case, the battery life did degrade.updating the firmware of the airpods did solve the issue.I how ever did decide, to avoid this issue all together, by switching off the bluetooth in my Iphone when not in use.to maximise the full potensial of the case.so when 2019, came around 1 year later. My work bought me the next pare of airpods. this time the second jen that apple had bought out.the pare I bought in 2018 now whent to my home. the very first pare who stil had the 3 hour battery life. was now completely shot, and only lasted 30 minutes per ear on 1 charge. it also charged way way quicker. but when on a call or playing music it did not even played the battery low tone. when it reached 10 percent.when it did reach 10 percent, and played that tone, you would no you still had a few minutes, to do what you need to do to charge it up.so that pare got placed aside, the second pair from 2018 now came to my house for me to use. only at the house. and the new pare in 2019 wich was the second jen was now used at work.the exact same experience.beautiful battery life. clear sound. was observed.fast forward to now. 2020. I've done this in the following order.1. disable quick access.found under the general tab of folder options.2. disable folder type discovery.3. insuring that the folder lists display everything as a details pain view.by checking the details, radio button. then saving those as default folder settings.4. if a large number of folders is to be opened for example a drive with a music folder or movies, and so on clicking on property's on the mail folder, for example. music. selecting customize tab. then choosing the optimize for general items. then okay. and apply to sub folders and files.5. to answer you about disabling those date options. simply stand inside the folder insure nothings selected. hit shift f10 or applications key to bring up the context menu, find the group by sub menu. and select the option. nun.6. I also have not implied that windows does not use it. I've stated that it is clearly not needed above 8 gigs with SSD, because, the chances of a app calling that huge chunk of memory requiring windows to over provision memory is few and far between, unles it is a desire by the end user to have such a app. 7 z comes too mind. but then that user would already know that he or she should leave page file alone. While i'm happily prepared to learn something new every day. you seem very sted fast in your inability to learn. that is non of my concern. My concern was with post 1 who very spisiffically asked. what would happen if he placed his page file on a external. very bad idea that. I then expanded as to when you can actually disable the file because in all my years of experience. i've never, ever, ever seen windows complain of running out of memory. when more then 8 gigs is used. Notice, that i've never mentioned anything below that. that is because, we are then heading in to the exact territory you described. that is 100% correct. The other fact I stated was that SSD is required before you can even think of deactivating the use of that file. I am not placing your statements of leaving the file alone in doubt. I am only answering a question by some one who is curious as to what would happen, when they take certain actions with that file. The reason I responded to you in the way I had was because the internet has alot of folks like you that says. don't do something. but never really expands as to why. I on the other hand. would do the exact same thing but would freely explain as to why this is. Remember not every one realizes the complex reasons behind why windows does what it does. You do know this. I know some of it. but not all. Remember I also stated that my experience comes from practical experience. maybe your experiences are way different. in your lign of work or interactions, it may be important to follow the routes that you do. In short. this is what makes the internet such a lovely place. because, I am allowed to differ from opinion. for me having it turned off. with a SSD installed with 8 gigs or more ram is good. But for you. and alot of others, it is not. Re: How to change the page file on windows 10? hi enes. in the past the page file was more of a issue. because many apps use to refer to it alot. these days. if your system has more then eight gigs. its safe to disable it. it does not serve a perpose. if you have more then eight gigs. for the most part the actual hard ram used will be any ware between 1 and five gigs. depending on what you have open. Though the average is between 1 and 3 gigs. right now as it stands i am using 4.46 gigs. i've got a convertor app running i've got chromme open and fire fox open. i've got dropbox open and a few small other things. so usage may very. To recover the files is not possible. the main reason is that they've been overwritten. even if you had turned off your device right away. the chances of them being overwritten due to background activity is very high. If the files was on the SD card, the chances would be slightly better. but the chances of you having them there, is slim. most users uses the in built phones memory. had they been on the SD card, and had you turned off the phone right after you deleted them. then perhaps your chances increases favourably. Something that happened to me. so, in my work place. we have 4 ups's.these are boxes that provides backup power when the power goes out. a regular thing in my country.so it also protects against spikes under and over voltage and more.so eventually it comes time to replace its batteries.these particular moddels takes 2 9 amp batteries. of 12 volts each.so now, you got these 2 batteries.because due to so much power outages in this lovely mest up country of mine. the batteries only lasts about a year. before they need replacing.so, time comes when I have to open up those upsses to replace them.I got tired of paying people to do it.Time to do it my self after watching them. right? what could possibly go wrong?well for one. you have to connect the cables correctly. remember. this thing gets plugged in to the mains. it takes 220 volts and taps it down to the required voltages your devices needs to function.so, here I come, unscrew the cover. carefully memorise ware each cable goes. before. I disconnect each battery. Me being little old me, I got clever. and replaced 1 by 1 battery at a time. to minimise the chance of messing anything up. I don't feel like paying 2000 rand for a dam UPS.so, now, I am finally prepared to slot in the last heavy battery. so now, if you ever have replaced these batteries, you'll know that when connecting up the final one, it makes a spark, so my mind was wondering, and when it made that pap! spark sound. I got a fright! and dropped the battery I was holding. ripped out the cable from the battery connector and battery came crashing down on my toes! I can tell you, I felt quite sheepish.So, back I went to connect the battery.eventually it got done.and all was well.On another occasion, I had a old 500 watt UPS laying around. ready to be decommissioned. so I wondered to my self. what would happen If I plugged in a small portible consumer mono lazer printer in to it. would it happily turn off. because it cannot handle the load, or would it blow up?I was honestly curious.Well, it came on. and as the printer started to warm up preparing itself for use. the UPS whent. tick tick tick tick rick rick rick rick. B, yeeeuup yep yeep yee. then the beep sound long beep of death faided away just like turning the volume nob of a radio. and smoke could be smelt from the UPS. and it became hot. So I ripped out the power cord of the UPS and the printer. suffice to say. both that single 7 amp 12 volt battery and the 500 watt UPS was sent to the scrap heap.And the printer? well folks, that Oki B2200 lazer printer stil lives on to this day.And that was my interesting bits for the day.I Have way more to tell. but will keep them for another time. Re: Laptop batteries practical advice. 1. when laptop says 100% fully charged. it does, not. use the battery. 2. battery has protection in place to stop chargeing when it is full. then laptop cheques for power adapter. if present, it uses the power from the adapter. not the battery.3. the battery is designed to run down to about 99 or 98 percent before restarting the charge.this may or may not always be apparent. since you can restart the charge at any time. but if left on A C power this behaviour is observed in many laptops and is completely normal.4. in lenovo laptops it does allow you to change the charge threshold as to when it must stop/start to charge. This is not always to desirable because it cannot always be fine tweaked and forces you to chose a preset range.so, in conclusion.there is no worry that your battery will be damaged due to keeping it plugged in all the time. In fact, the charging cycles that makes up its useful life, wil be eaten up less should you not often need use for the battery.Hope this helps. Re: Difficulty Running WinPeX64 okay, rite I see what you mean. you know what? let me make it easier for you. if you willing to bare with me tilll tomorrow when i'm at work, that will be tuesday for me, i can upload windows10 PE64 bit for you. basically it wil be a package that I'll prepare for you. all you HAVE to do is to press enter on it, and BROWSE to your desktop and extract it to a folder called WinPE. then open the folder and coppy all that stuff on to that flashdrive for you. then it wil boot like a charm! I know how hard it is to mes with roofice and stuff like that. this image is easy to use. and works for me across stick after stick after stick. just a friendly reminder, to disable secure boot on your pc. that always was a pain in my tail and I could never get the stick to work with out this option being disabled. sometimes it worked and sometimes not. so I always opted for it to be disabled. but you can try to boot with and with out it enabled.how ever. this image is garenteed to work, because i can reproduce it to boot on stick after stick after stick. hell I even have 3 sticks with the same thing, in cace I forget the one. this image. contains NVDA.with a host of other goodies on it.Take care, and hope this helps.and let me know if you do wish me to do this for you. I fondly remember my English teachers words. She said to me.the best way you'll know how to be able to spell is to read, read, read. That is so true.Sadly spell checkers is my friend.But if, there is any way I can figure out how to better my spelling, I'll be all for it.It is all about memorization you see, and that is, sadly ware screen readers cannot help us out.One of my sighted friends once asked me something, that gave me a good old chuckle.he asked. is there no way you can let your screen reader spell every word as it reads along?I smiled at that and told him. had it done that. Re: Moving out well, so far, so good. we got my self a grill, it is a long shaped device, that has its plates built in. in the frunt, it has a small drip tray for greace, it is the lenth of the device, and since all the sides of the device is closed, and has raised edges. the frunt is the only part that does not have that lip, effect. thus, comes the drip tray in to play. the tray is removable and is semmi small. so it can easely be cleaned. the temp nob on the grill is a turn nob thing. now, i only have to figure out, if i must push it straight to max, and cook from there. and build my timings around there, or leave it half way. and go from there. my sister also got me a non stick electric frying pan. this thing has a sort of glass lid, but the pan is non stick, and nice and deep. so i think chicken wil be something nice to cook in there.i managed to get boath the devices manuals red, but, they seem rather simplistic. the only thing is,its gonna be trile and error from here on.I do admit, i'm a bit nervous. would any one of you guys be able to maybe, tell me. what can you cook in the frying pan, that cannot be done on the grill? I know that seems a bit obvious, but, i am learning alot from the most obvious details.I kind of love the frying pan since its nice and closed. and i think you can fry alot of things in there.as for the grill, hmm, I do wonder though.if i spray a little bit of spray and cook on its serfice, then, i wonder if pies can be cooked in them. My sister did say to me, she does not yet want me to use the oven, because its wonkey and not very stable.fair enough, so for now the frying pan, and grill will be my first items to experament withyep. a kettle is a jug type device with a little element inside. we commonly use it here to make tea, coffee, and those type a things. but, in a pinch u can use it to make 2 minute noodels. by using its boiling water to throw in a little dish and prepare the noodels and let them soak in there. boom, instant nice, unhealthy gratification. laughs. perfect for a instant fix. Captcha be gone seems to have stopped working

I'd appreciate if you would share your ways of doing things, with me. often I'd love to slap a peace of stake on the stove. but I'd not know how. would you kindly explain how you do things? while I am mostly independent, cooking these type of things is something I don't yet know how to do. oh sure I can make basic stuff like mac and cheese. but, I'd love to grab a pie from the fridge and cook it, or perhaps, some fish fingers. any help would be greatly appreciated. I keep on hearing about the George Forman device, forgive me asking obvious things, but please would you care to explain, regardless of how obvious it sounds. many times, my poor sister works late. and my wish is for me to surprise her some day with a nice dinner. in sted of her having to cook when she gets home. sure she's fully sighted, but I do my bit, and I feel that, if I can learn how to cook, it would be just one more skill to my ever growing arsenal.vacuuming doing dishes, cleaning kitchen floors counters, bathrooms, showers, and lews is easy for me, and comes standard with what i am able to do, but cooking is a little beyond me, since she does not wish to show me yet.my apologies if this is slightly off topic, please let me know if I must make a new topic for this?i thought this would fit in since, I am alone many times. and sometimes its not fun to wait long hours fully knowing, there's meat in the fridge.if there's any devices I need, I'll go buy them. but dam, sometimes that chicken peaces seems so nice. and I'd wish I was able to cook them.I do know Google is my friend, but I need the more personal touch from folks like your selves. whose in the same position I am. I know the stress you whent through as i face it oh so to often, hence i follow the backup root. but lets see what we can do to help you here.a note of warning. some seagate external drives, can be opened and the sata board can be removed. but with W D drives, often the board is sealed to the drive. or, in crippted to mate only with the board. thus, attempting to use it in any other in closure, will result in garbled data. things you can now try. one. please, power down the drive. 2. connect the drive to a power bank and record the sounds for me. 3. we'll take it from there. 4. i am always curious to try and repair such issues. 5. if you do not wish to record this. move to step6.6. download data life guard diagnostic tool for WD drives. its very accessible and will diagnose /repair bad sectors. if not sure ware to get it, let me know and I'll pop ya a link.7. if you found it, let me know the outcome. after it had fixed your drive, warning, make sure you have patience since this may take a while to complete.do not use the drive while data life guards busy with it. your data is already at risk, so reparing what you can, is fine at this point. since data damage has already happened.8. please place your pc in hi performance mode under power settings. and plug it in to charger when working with the drive. if pc is laptop.9. if its a desktop. plug drive in the back of pc u s b port. to insure maximum stable power.10. if all the above fails. please get back to me ware and witch step failed.I'd be happy to help.
