Honestly a lot of the fantacy I have read has been more in the romance catigory, or the stuff that showcases that the world is about to end, and I haven't been enjoying a lot of it for a while now. fantasy book suggestions
fantasy book suggestions I just wanted to ask here, because I know that a lot of us are also very avid readers. I am looking for books that are either high fantasy, medieval fantasy, or urban fantasy, that don't have stupid amounts of gore, blood, and violence. I have noticed this trend in my books lately, and I don't like it, given the fact that I feel like I have to suffer through the gory parts, which takes away from the enjoyment of the entire book. spotify questions
spotify questions I have undertaken the rather ambitious task of reorganizing my library, and have found that it comes with some rather large problems. Mainly these are coming up because I have to do everything from the spotify client on the phone, and the interface is super clunky. In order to remove a song from a play list I have to be in the play list view, and then voiceover decides to jump around and lose me my place more often than not, by the time I try and click on the next song. So my main question is, is there a way to add and remove songs from play lists with the windows client and nvda, and if so, how do you do it, because there is no context menu in spotify , like there is in almost every other program. If the windows client isn't the best, is there an iftt or alexa app, or something to do what I want faster? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Re: views about 2020 This year kind of sucked for me for reasons that had nothing to do with the pandemic, but I think that there were also some hopeful things that happened, both in my personal life, and in the world at large. One of the things I always think of as a hopeful agent of change, that happened during this pandemic, was that the smog over LA vanished when people weren't driving around during the lock down. This shows me that a step in the right direction, toward environmental preservation is possible, if we can start to move away from fossil fuels. I have no elution's that this will be an easy road, and that we won't create other systemic problems in the process, which will need to be solved, but I am a little hopeful about our future, and this wasn't something I had before. After writing about my hopes for the world, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge all the people we lost this year, through the pandemic, the protests, or any other means, and I hope that in this small way I can honor the deaths and wounds that resulted from all the things that happened this year. There are however concerns that we still have to overcome when thinking about brain implants or biological cures. One of the most prevalent of these is the over stimulation of the brain, when the affected sense is suddenly restored. I would imagine that this is especially true if your brain has been blind for it's entire life, because It's like, "What do I do with this foreign sensation. I know that there is a certain amount of learning that goes into this, like with cochlear implants, where eventually the implant would be less painful, and start showing some benefits, but I don't want my sight bad enough to go through the pain. Not to mention having tech in my body gives me the crawlies. I am not even willing to have eye microchips at this stage of my life. I think it's cool that the choice is out there, but it will be a good 20 years before I am even going to think about signing up, unless something seriously huge changes. Being overrun by chrome bookmarks, please help! So, I am trying to sort my stupid amount of bookmarks in google chrome, and I am running into a serious issue, because I have to select every single one individually. I have no idea how many sites I have favorited over the years, so this has been a test of my patience, and I give up after like 10 sites, because I have to keep clicking on the menu over and over! Is there a way with Nvda that I don't have to select every single solitary web site in my huge folder individually?
