NVDA can freeze because of basically any software on the machine that might be catching NVDA's attention, then freezing itself. If you don't have the expertise to find it on your own I'd just reset Windows and uninstall anything extra the OEM provided

@Meatbag, If you think OBJSounds is bad, AudioThemes3d is worse! Seriously, OBJSounds has ran flawlessly on all of my machines, even on Windows 10 with 4GB RAM!@OP, what are the general specs of your computer?

He should remove mcafee, it's just unnecessary software. If the issue still doesn't go away he should reset windows

its because of an add-on called objsounds, if he have it, he should remove or disable it, I was having this issue but when I removed this add-on everything worked well
