You can do it, but you also need an android phone and a keyboard for that.So first, set up a NVDA remote server on your pc or connect to one, use Narwhal on your android to connect to it via that and start a game that way, then you just launch a game, open Steam link and play, it probably works, didn't have the chance to try it yet, but I might when I get a proper keyboard. Under iOS I got a completely blank screen until I turned on screen recognition, which even then didn't make it very usable. My Android phone is unfortunately on its last leg and I won't even try it there right now. But if it's more accessible there then I'll keep that in mind.And how do I open a game on my PC and play from my phone? Do you mean that when SteamLink launches on my phone, the game is also playable on my PC? Not entirely clear how this works.Thanks. Is SteamLink game streaming accessible?
Is SteamLink game streaming accessible? I set up my iPad and PC on the same network. I then linked my devices using the iOS SteamLink app, at which point the iPad app became inaccessible. Activating screen recognition got me some controls, and I clicked on Hades a few times. Eventually my computer fan spun up, but then my screen readers stopped responding. After about a minute of an unresponsive PC, I hard-reset, and even then I didn't get speech back until it occurred to me to press the volume button a few times, at which point Narrator started speaking.I suspect what may have happened is that Steam might have muted my PC audio when the game launched. Maybe their streaming service can route audio over the network but can't keep it from hitting the device, so it mutes device audio as a courtesy? I could spend more time debugging this, but I've long since come to the conclusion that the reason it's called Steam is because it describes what sort of pile it is. As such, I'd really like to know if anyone has gotten this working before I try debugging it again.Also, as an aside, is there any way to accessibly get to the Steam app settings? I've gotten to game-specific settings, but not to those for the app itself.Thanks.
