You'd be better off trying to convince her to use something a little less microsoftish. What happened after Office 2007 I think, they broke all the menus for the office suite. That reminds me, I'm still using Internet Explorer. Ahem, I should go

If Office is successfully installed, which is how it sounds, PST files should now show as an Outlook file type. If that's the case, try launching the PST file and see if that invokes Outlooks import function.I used to use Outlook with my GMail

I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but the topic just wiped itself clean. Either way, I would try using Windows mail. It's a bit glitchy, but it at least works. That, or IOS mail.
