Here's a tip. The sound you here is the same sound that you get when getting yes or no choices options, or when it's loading or saving data. Cursor moves make a different sound.

The heat gage, you mean? The sound is for the overdrive meter. And the demo is for the preorder... the full game will automatically unlock on november 1st. I have all the options, they just won't let me click on them.

I always loved Taokaka's japanese voice for some reason. I prefer it compared to the English one, though I guess they couldn't do something really similar in English.Though I didn't know there was a demo for other versions then the japanese one. Or at least I thought that, since it was for preorders, it would automatically update to the full version, but maybe I'm wrong.And as far as sound design goes, I believe they finally added a sound effect for when the tention gauge is full, but I may have misinterpreted it.

Pretty sweet. Looks like they continued to use the new character themes from Chronophantasma. While I can't understand the Japanese, I can tell who Ragna's fighting depending on the music.Also, I think Taokaka sounds a lot more crazy with the Japanese voice. Just holy crap. She sounds more like some weird bird thing instead of a cat.

The sound design has really had a nice overhaul... and the astral finishes I pulled off were made all the sweeter by the fact that they cut out the stage track into the opening theme. Ah I see what you mean. I don't know how much of it is true, but I think that's a fair supposition... honestly, Blazblue's story has never really been well written enough for me to care about it... I think it's too deep fr its own good, and as other people have said on other forums, not many people play fighting games for a deep plot.. that's what rpgs are for. lol

To be fair it has to do with the story and not much with the development. What I mean is that the story sometimes give me the impression that some characters came back from the dead or whatever because the creators don't want to give up a character people took time to master or like. I come to say myself that if the game was not a fighting game things may have been different. But that's a supposition after all.

The impression was somewhat the same with most of the new characters in Chronophantasma. Back to ContinuumShift, when they added new playable characters we knew were they came from, except for Platinum which was completely new, and Lambda-11 which presence was logical because they wanted a replacement for Nu-13. At least it was more logical back then, because when Lambda came back in ChronoPhantasma extend many people wondered why she was back. I guess we are back to that fighting game thing I said in my last post. I thing the all Lambda/Nu storyis an even better example of it.

Azrael's story was confusing to me. In terms of plot, he just seemd to pop up out of nowhere, and it seemed like the player was supposed to know who he was. They went into a lot of detail about how Ragna and the Black Beast were related to one another, but it felt like Azrael was just thrown in as a plot device.

Technically, the game is in stereo... just not the character and impact effects. the music and even voice acting is probably in stereo depending on scenarios, there just is no panning of sounds during fights.Personally, blazblue has never captured my interest... the story is so convoluted and it's hard to follow, plus the presentation not being too exciting with only a few animated scenes and the rest being music and voiced dialog kinda has me bored. The amount of actual fighting compared to time sitting there and watching isn't really equal imo. But I'm still getting this game just to see what it's like... and maybe I'll get back into it. The fighting system is enjoyable for me, with how much there is to sink my teeth into, but I tend to prefer characters who are at least somewhat in the real world... there's just something about Blazblue characters that don't grab me.

This has actually got me a lot less motivated to finish the current games I own ,  as there now is no way of accessibly  finishing the story.  Very annoying, as that is pretty much the only reason I play the series in the first place .  I'm not particularly a huge fan of the fighting system  .

Noel's English voice actor actually made an unofficial shortened version of Love so Blue (Noel's theme with vocals), and expressed her hope of companies supporting English dubs of video game soundtracks like BlazBlue. good news BB fans.they are back in talks for making a English dub for the game after experiencing heavy backlash from the community and even some of the voice actors like ragna..there is even a petition floating around out there for a eng dub to happen..bb fans keep your eyes, toes and fingers crossed we get it

Generally, if a version of the game has no dub and DLC doesn't come out for it, future expansions don't have it either as there isn't always justification. If you guys remember, Guilty Gear XRD revelator actually took out the dub instead of redoing all the new dialog.

There's also the possibility of a DLC I think, but Aksys said that wasn't going to be the case eather. I guess that's why this petition exist, but I admit that in comparison this is more likely to happen in the Extend version.

Curious to see how much this patition will actually be considered. I think if it doesn't have a dub now, the likelyhood isn't all that great for it to come any time soon, even with an extend version. But we'll see, I suppose.

Don't sound so surprised... games have been coming out with no additional voices for a while. Just like with films, the need for dubbing is not there if subtitles are, whatever people may say to the contrary. That's not my opinion, just a pragmatic fact. I use dubs on occasion, but don't if I can help it... so I appreciate having them.
