I definitely know the feeling, youve read everything, but its a lot to take in, and not always easy to get the hang of.I do hang around the Virtual Ability spaces sometimes, as well as a few others I have landmarked. Ill be around Cape Serenity for a couple days, if you want to find me. I can give you some landmarks, show you what I know, all that fun stuff.To teleport to me, copy (copy, dont click) the below link to your clipboard. When youre logged into SL, press control+g. It may take a couple seconds, but you should eventually land on a teleport button.Hope this helps! Starting Second Life, any pointers needed So Ive signed up for SL and Ive set up radegast, and I understand the basics of getting to places I like, but Im still lost, and I barely know how to do anything else, except chatting. I would email virtual ability, but I dont have as much time to myself now that schools out, so I cant really schedule an appointment. Thanks. Also, what sims do you like visiting? Ive been trying to explore, but Im getting tired of seeing loads and loads of unnamed objects, NVDA just says object, and even if I know what it is theres mostly no description and I have no clue how to interact with it. Thanks! Re: Starting Second Life, any pointers needed Hi there,Try and see, if you can find a lady by the name of Celene Highwater.She and several others on Virtual Ability Island, have note cards with Radegast keyboard commands, and tips on how to use the client itself.I forget which alt-number combination it is, but once ya pres it, an objects list comes up for near by places. Once you find the object with up/down arow keys, you can simply hit your context enu key, and choose what ya want to do with the objectI hope that helps in some way.
