swamp problem Hello guys, I would really appreciate if you can help me with an issue I am having with swamp.I have an old pc with just 2 gb of ram and I decided to install and play swamp on it since my laptop will be sent for repairs and I will have to use this machine for a few days. I have installed windows 7, the 64 bit version, it's the best I could do for this old computer. Anyways, yesterday I could play swamp fine but today I keep getting this error when trying to log-in: Log-in Failed. Your IE settings are not allowing Swamp to securely connect to the server for log-in. In Internet Explorer, open Internet Options. Go to the Advanced tab and select Reset to return Internet Explorer to its default settings. This should allow Swamp to connect properly.I have done what it suggest, I reset my internet explorer several times, cleared all personal data, even removed it from windows features and turned it back on but no luck. I also run the win64.bat and checkup.exe from the swamp folder but no luck what soever. What else could I try? I am so pissed off since yesterday all went fine and now I just can't understand why it wont let me login. IN fact ask a family member, someone probably has a spare they'd be happy to part with. If not, you can literally get a good one for 10 bucks. Gaming mice aren't as important an investment for us as mechanical keyboards are, so most audio games can settle for a standard two button mouse. If your character starts to turn automatically or if turning acts weird when using the trackpad, you have to switch to full screen. It acts differently on different machines, so you have to experiment with that.2. Don't forget to enable right click in the right lower corner of the trackpad in the System preferences.3. You have to disable all the extra swipes on the trackpad in the System preferences. Otherwise, you'll loose focus by accident.4. If you're using an iPhone or iPad and you have linked phone calls or Facetime calls to your computer, then you will seriously regret if you don't turn that off on your computer. If you get a call, then the call window pops up, taking the focus from the virtual machine. That will kill you on the missions. 5. I have had some issues with the medkit key, so I mapped that in the key config file in Swamp.I might start playing the game again in the near future. Please let me know if you have more questions. Thus, mapping some keystrokes is of course an obstacle to getting full controller support. Also, many games have far too many commands than can be packed into, say, my XBox controller, so you have to still switch between the two at some points. You do not need to create a new map.You could even use the change tile command, if you know the IDs of closed and open door tiles. YesEither use in a zone name to make pressing enter there teleport the player, or use the copy map command in campaigns to swap closed and open doors for location events or location enter events, or whathaveyou.[edit] to elaborate on swapping parts of the map... I'd make a door that cannot be opened, and a door that cannot be closed, and use the copy map command to copy whichever I need to the space where a door is. Though it'd be much easier to just make a zone called <125,48>press enter to try the door, with a corresponding <125,51>Press enter to try the door on the other side.
