Re: X3 basics and let's play series Hi, Ahh, Thanks for shedding light on that, mate. Its just that your and simba's audio playthroughs made it sound like you'd have to move around randomly to discover all that the system has to offer or at least for different stuff to come in range of the scanners/ sensors. The sensors down the line should certainly help, but in the mean while, If there was a way to see coords or the map of each systems or locations that they have would be neat for people that are just getting started. This game sounds highly interesting to me considering I am a huge fan of Core exiles and have avidly played Smugglers 4 5 and even a bit of 3 that any space game with the possibility that this has sounds quite amazing, that is as long as we are able to do other things well besides trading. Re: X3 basics and let's play series Hi, A good playthrough and demonstration, however I'd imagine not being able to see what's in a system without random arrow key presses I mean the nav key presses kinda limit things. and I'd imagine combat isn't doable either? There are techniques for mapping systems, automated exploration programs, and a way to move to any point in space with the autopilot. THere are also improved scanners which pretty much guarantee you'll see something within a big range.COmbat is harder, certainly, but not impossible. Merchant ships should probably avoid it, but fighters can do pretty well. There are of course programs to automate that as well. Re: X3 basics and let's play series you'll never get a game like that on a mobile device. it's footprint is 7 gb for 1 thing. ok that's not much when you consider an iPhone 8 speck but that's as far as it will go. the device would fall over if you tried to put such a game on it.
