I really like having SqueezePlay as a soft SB player for my PC, however
bit-perfect playback support via WASAPI in Vista, Windows 7 etc. seems
to be getting common in other s/w players e.g.

I think the latest version of portaudio supports WASAPI - I've not tried
though. Another reason to look at this though...

now I thought that the 88.2 Khz files would not work but that the 24/96

it's the 24 bit / 96 Khz that the transporter says are unsupported, I am
running the 7.5.0 version of squeezebox that I am running, I wonder if
that is a bug?

'Spanish Harlem' from HDTracks. I reformatted it at a compression of
