It appears someone forgot to enter the obito of Joao Inacio Sousa in the records of Ponta Garca. So, by order of the district Reverendo, a record was entered stating that he died in Oct of 1801. The order was made March 12- 1807, just before Umbelina Jacinta married a second time to Francisco

morning rick i believe you solved the mystery i cannot read the documents i only look for words like mez, filho, filha anno, etc. when i was looking for his death i first found this in 1880 - last entry
