Joe M, You are correct, there is no name there. It says something about solmenly in the presence of those in the eyes of the church...I don't translate the church stuff. I look for the words "in faccia ecelesia" or something like that. I believe that is Latin and the groom's name always follows

Angela, You're concluding it is "Loura" but the name on the document is Joseph de Loural not Loura. Have a close look and you will see the "L" at the very end somewhat raised and camouflaged by the elongated letter P from above.. Why the difference in the name to Loural? Probably there was no
