Changing the birth-year to 1860-1875 in the Azores for the Manuel ROSE /
ROSA in Cambridge, MA, and I find this record. It reminded me that
Philomena ROSE and her older brothers came from Fayal / Faial, and that is
also where she married.She married Francisco MOURA from Sao

I research the extended PACHECO / MOURA family of Cambridge, MA. They
came over from Sao Miguel, but found out last year the MOURA's originated
in another island.The mother arriving was born Philomena ROSE / ROSA,
probably 1870's.Researchers just found out for me last year
Many, many thanks to all. The grave is indeed that of my Manuel Rose. Now
I have a bit more to work with. Hopefully an obituary will list more
names. His mother by the way is listed as Mary Travers - I've seen this in
other records as well - but her name was Mary Tavares. This Manuel lived
You might try going to the find a grave site then click on the cemetery
name, then you can do a search for Rose or whatever other surname to see
if any others are also buried in that cemetery.
