I don’t know how they added the last name Loura, it could be that someone did claim him after his birth, but that might have been noted on his birth record. It could be to distinguish him from another Antonio Resendes in the same village. I do have the Loura line back to early 1500’s when

Thanks Theresa! This Antonio is twisting my mind for weeks! *Antonio Resendes* on his marriage record and on his son's baptism and marriage record. And *Antonio Resendes Loura/Loyra* in his and his wife's death records. In his marriages it states that he is "filho de pais nao sabidos" and baptized
