I've been hired so many times to find a Native American ancestor in a
family background that I give it a shorthand name,The Secret Squaw.

I don't have anyone with the surname Raleza in my family but just wanted to say
that my father has a friend who's family last name is Raleza. ( not his
nickname)

Yes…it’s pretty small amount Cheri. Dave is less than 2% but I know for sure
his great-great-great grandmother was full Native American, the daughter of a
Lakota Sioux Chief…..Crow Feather:) I have found paper on this….so I guess it
does wash out:(
thanks,

Whoops…I wanted to say that Dave used to have a gray shading up the west coast
of North America but since they did their realignment on FTDNA, you can no
longer see that shading….

António Barbosa from Lombinha da Maia and I'm thinking it will be a clue to
the date of his death. I have never found the church record of his death.

Susan,
Thanks for posting this. My husband swears he has Am. Indian ancestors. His
DNA shows none and I do not know his maternal DNA line past his GG grandmother.
I guess he might be right after all. Darn!!

I’m late to this conversation…and don’t even know if your ancestors were in
