Trying searching in Sao Miguel. For as long as I can remember a high
percentage of births occur in Sao Miguel. Its possible that the new borns
get registered in Sao Miguel but actually go right back to living in Santa

I know that two parts of the Silva family ended up in Sacramento. The first
was Jose de Freitas da Silva and his second wife Caroline Pereira (Perry)
who moved to Sacramento sometime after 1900 and sometime before 28 Oct 1902
