Greetings, I may have located the baptism record for my 3x grandmother in Pico. I'm searching for Maria Silveira, born in Ribeiras around 1782 based on her obit. This one works and I'm wondering if someone could tell me the name of the padrinho's, Manuel Sylveira's, parentsis it Anselmo?

Eliseu, I don't know that Dano types with diacritics. I know he meant Piné and not Pine (as in the tree). Interesting point about the Piné name. As far as I know (in my research) the Mello Pinés stayed in Ribeira Quente until they left for America. I don't know of any that went to Brasil and
