I'm waiting to receive my first hourly newsflash, but it certainly looks cool. News have a desktop alert application you can download (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/3533099.stm) but it would be good to translate the breaking news emails (http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/email/breakingnews) into IM
