A wilder idea involves dumping to a FIFO, which Bacula can be instructed
to read from when doing backups, although I do not have yet worked out
how restore would happen in this case.

was needed. Should the .spec file have
BuildRequire: gcc-c++
or something of the kind ?

to me that there is actually
documentation somewhere. I got my data out of the stream for sure, but I
cannot remember if it was Windows NT 3.51 or early Windows NT 4.
