FYI: I loaded Ubuntu and it worked fine. Using this image: https://rcn-ee.com/rootfs/2016-06-09/flasher/BBB-eMMC-flasher-ubuntu-16.04-console-armhf-2016-06-09-2gb.img.xz Think it could just be the way the init-eMMC-flasher-v3.sh is written. I guess I will go with that for now and keep an eye on
