ok. so the image i was trying to flash to my BBB was a 4gb sd chip
bootable. not a flash image. if i put the 4gb sd bootable version in the
sd slot then i should have seen the device boot but it didnt. i was
expecting a flash process. right there i see a red flag.
why would the bootable sd

Thanks for the EtherSwitch idea. I got rid of those along with a NAS server
and 2 towers

I remember year's ago seeing troubles this smells like a windows driver issue
follow Dennis suggestions remove driver's in control panel. I always reboot
after removing one item it might take multiple reboots all I have is a bb black

Followed the instructions.
Two user leds turned on
They did not blink just stayed like that for a while
I tried yhe sd with the kali image and the lights did not even turn on.
Removed the sd chip and applied power and angstrom booted up with the gui

so flashing is not an option

Im not even trying to flash it anymore i was trying to have it boot from the sd
chip and even thats not working
