I think the lap-sitting thing is one of the endearing traits of a Berner.
The image of a huge fluffy dog curled up (and over) his person, testing the
weight of the chair is comical and sweet at the same time -- just why we all
love these guys so much. I am actually considering a much larger chair
Cocoa likes to climb onto my lap while I'm sitting at my computer! (All 70
lbs. of her) This makes typing and breathing difficult, but makes hugging
very convenient!
