Hi,
yesterday I tried out 7.5 trunk (30462) and 7.6 (30458) on the exact
same database.
Same result since the start of 7.5 embedded (!) - 7.5 truns works, 7.6
doesn't (posted this one earlier but got the response, Windows build
are experimental - are they still).

Did you notice as well that the files are streamed as Quicktime videos?
I can't remember if that was already the case with the 7.4.x versions I
used in the past...
Unfortunately it was only a temporary solution, it broke again later on
... :(

I've just tried rolling back to yesterday's nightly (r30465) and it
works perfectly. So the problem must have been introduced within the
last day.

OK this is probably my fault, I assume 7.5 works fine?
Yeah OK I know what the problem is. I compiled a new module against
ActivePerl 5.10.1 and this is apparently not backwards-compatible.
I'll recompile against 5.10.0.

Without my noticing, the debian unstable build became 7.6.0. I
installed 30465 which works just the way my last 7.5.0 worked.
7.5.0 has been good for so long, even though called unstable, that I've
been using it.
So - is 7.6.0 going to be really unstable for a while? If so, when
will 7.5.x
I'm seeing something running the non-compiled code with ActivePerl
5.10.0, build 1005. The server fails to start, with the following
message in a dialog box (run from the command line):
The procedure entry point Perl_croak_xs_usage could not be located in

The last bit of 'bug 8705'
(http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8705): The browser fails
to remember the playlist panel width for more than a few days. I see
this often, as I have a number of SbS servers configured and don't
visit each one regularly. In Firefox it's easy to examine
What I see is that each cookie is given an expiration date exactly 1
year from the current date, _except_ for the panel width cookie, which
is dated just 1 week in the future. Which explains the problem. Maybe
not important, but I also note that the name given to this cookie is
unusual,
