IIRC Michael removed it because of security reasons after his „Don’t expose your LMS to the internet“ call. Hackers could do nasty things with all files which then where reachable through the plugin maybe even place new files there.

Kubuntu 18.04, local files streamed to my Transporter. No problem using flac native but to me it feels like a bug. Try to run the flac binary from a terminal. What hardware architecture? We did update the flac binary recently. There potentially could be issues. -- Michael

Hi, Many thanks for creating v7.9. I have a relatively minor question and apologies if it is just a noob issue. On upgrading from version 7.7.5. After scanning my unchanged flac database the number of artists has gone up from around 1,200 to 2,724. Is there a setting in the default 7.7.5

I can't get the "Help" link at bottom left of web GUI to work on IE or Chrome; just refreshes the "Home" page. I thought it worked on Firefox, but creates a different type of error where the next time you visit "server:9000" it opens the Help page instead of the Home page. This is on the

Things eventually got weird enough that I cleared the Squeezebox cache on my server and rebooted. Now all is well again. I am going to stay away from that "Help" link, however. There is something about it that, once you've clicked on it, LMS web GUI now loads it into the "Home" frame whenever

This is very weird. In firefox (61.0.1), starting with no history, help worked. Closed that tab & tried again. Didn't work (showed menu as one panel). Sometimes I get the help, sometimes the menu. It doesn't alternate strictly, but seeming randomly. Closed firefox and started it again.
