As of 11.00am the bird is still at the visitor centre.
It is sitting on the fence of the garden area.
Yesterday it stayed within a circle of about 30 feet, so, hopefully it will
stay in the garden or trees for the rest of the day.

The continuing Townsend's Solitaire was seen at least twice this
morning by several observers. Myself and Ken Burrell and two other
birders observed the bird at about 11:15 this morning. The bird was
observed first flying into one of the Red Cedar hedges next to the
house across the ravine from
Red-BelledWoodpecker spotted @9:30am at the Humber Arboretum
along the Humber river,feeding with Cardinal,
Song Sparrows,and Chickadees
The Arboretum is located On the Etobicoke campus of Humber college
off Hwy 27 south of Finch.

Prince Edward Point and the Waupoos area wasn`t too bad today for birds.

The St. Clair River continues to be interesting and a challenge to look at
everything. This past Wednesday to Friday were probably the busiest days for
gulls, and Friday was insane for sorting through all the gulls (2000+) on ice
floes!
Today, Sunday, I took a good look. At least 1000 gulls
This morning I arrive at the park at 8:00 am and located Western Grebe
about 300 meters east of the park toward Toronto Islands at 8:50 am.
It was swimming close to a female Red-breasted Merganser and an adult
Herring Gull. After several long dives the Herring Gull went after
both the
Betsy Smith and I had a stunning flock of 70 Bohemian Waxwings on Sideline
24 southeast of Claremont this afternoon.
The birds were perched on a high deciduous tree and coming down to a crab
apple tree to feed.

The spot was on Sideline 24, southeast of Claremont(Durham) between Conc.
My Apologies if you end up getting this twice. I tried to send it earlier
but it does not seem to have gotten through!
As noted previously the Townsends Solitaire continues to put on a show
opposite 8666 Langstaff Rd. While observing the bird between 1:00 and 2:00
pm today other birds seen at
